{ Chapter Twenty }

As the days went by, both Sehun and Luhan spent their days with one another by their side. Mr. Oh was barely seen interfering with them and Sehun is relief as he thought that Mr. Oh has finally accepted Luhan. What about work? Sehun still turn up at Royalties and same goes Luhan as they needed to feed themselves. Things were going smoothly for the both of them because they now can freely go out without anyone's interference. There are days where the two would just spend their whole day at home, cooking together, watching movies and cuddling closely. Everything now feels like a bliss to Luhan. He finally thought that he had found his happily ever after and that he will be able to last with Sehun till death do them apart.

But, does happily ever after exist?

Roughly six months had passed between the two, one-night Sehun called Luhan out to meet him. Curious, Luhan did exactly what Sehun said and arrived at the address where Sehun had given him.  Looking around, it seems like a park. "Sehun?" Luhan called out. No response. Carefully walking into the deeper parts of the park, lights filled the darkness all of a sudden and Luhan saw Sehun standing inside a small and well-decorated pavilion. Walking straight ahead, Luhan stop right in front of Sehun. "Hun, what is this all about?" Luhan questioned, looking at Sehun.Without saying a word, Sehun got onto his knees and pulled out a small ring box from his coat. Taken aback, Luhan held both his hands to his mouth before saying, "Hun what-" "Xi Luhan, are you willing to marry me and make me the happiest man on earth?" Sehun cuts Luhan off as he look at Luhan. Tears slowly filled Luhan's eyes as he shut them tight and nodded his head. A smile grew on Sehun's face as he got up from his knee to put the ring on Luhan's ring finger. Without warning, Sehun carried Luhan up and spun him around before pulling him into a tight hug. "Xiao Lu, I promise you that no matter what happens I'll never leave your side, not after what we've been through." Luhan teared up upon hearing Sehun's word and shifted his head into his neck. "Thank you Sehun, thank you for being able to love a person like me."

Three months later, the big day finally arrived. The day of Sehun and Luhan's wedding. It wasn't a grand wedding like what every couple wished for but it was more than enough for Luhan. It's just a small wedding at the chapel with Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Suho and Yi Xing. But apart from the four of them, it's just the two of them and the witness of the priest. Both of them were in a separate room to prepare themselves for the wedding later on. The rest of them only can come over once they are done with their work. Fiddling with his fingers, Luhan bit his lips lightly. He couldn't believe that he and Sehun are officially being life long partners. He had always thought that the two of them will eventually fall apart due to their differences in their background. But after countless of times, Sehun had proved to Luhan that he is willing to go through anything just to be with Luhan, even if that means to throw his family aside. A loud ringing broke Luhan's train of thoughts. Walking over to the dressing table, he pick up his phone to check the caller ID. Widening his eyes, he pick up the call as uneasiness rushes in.

"Hello."

"Can you meet me right now?"

Luhan turn to look at the clock before replying,

"Okay."

Walking towards the familiar looking figure, Luhan stop in his track. Turning his back around, Mr. Oh smiled lightly at Luhan. "I'm glad you decided to meet me even though it's your big day today." "How did you know about our wedding?" Luhan questioned. Mr. Oh chuckled, "I have connections so I know whatever that is going on even if I'm not in direct contact you Sehun or you." Nodding his head, Luhan turn and questioned again, "Why is it that you wanted to meet me? If it's about wanting me to leave Sehun, then I can tell you, no. No matter what happens, I will never leave Sehun's side." Chuckling again, Mr. Oh replied, "Indeed, the sole reason I'm here is to tear you two apart. I've already tried telling Sehun countless of times to leave you but he just wouldn't. So instead of looking for him, I'll find you. And of course, I knew that you wouldn't leave Sehun's side that easily, seeing how you both are already having a big day." Pausing for a while, Mr. Oh then continued, "But, do you really think Sehun will be happy with you? Just look at the two of your background. Your mother was a stripper working at Royalties but committed suicide, resulting in you walking the same path as her. And then look at Seh
