[CONTENTID3] At Dara's office
Dara comes in - carrying a messy handful of papers, with crazy hair and wearing the last outfit we saw her in.
“Everything's okay?” ask Tiffany
“I was up all night.” said Dara whom even her appereance looks terrible, her face looks the other way, she looks enthusiastic.
“Please say you were working on the newsletter.” said Tiffany
“Sure. It's basically done. But this is.. I have to tell you something important.” replied Dara
“What's happening with your hair?” ask Tiffany who looks a little bit disgustingly with her hair
When suddenly Krystal comes out of her office and looks at Dara “Please come in my office before the others see that you have mini muffin stuck in your hair.”
So after that, the three of them coming to Krystal’s office, Dara paces in front of Krystal's desk.
“I think I figured it out. Remember when I went out with that notary public? And he cheated on me? And then Chaerin from upstairs told us that story about how her boyfriend cheated on her at the beginning - but then he totally changed and they're married and crazy in love.” said Dara
“I thought that guy was a process server.” said Krystal
“No, notary. Anyway, the point is – Chaerin is the exception. Not the rule. We have to stop listening to these stories - because the rule is that most guys who cheat on you up front don't really care about you very much.” continue Dara again
“Okay...” replied Krystal and Tiffany together
Dara consults her crumpled pieces of paper. “Exhibit A: Minhyuk, the drummer who lived in his storage space. He only used me for rides, yet I continued to stalk him for most of 1998. Then there was Woobin, who broke up with me every Friday so he could have his weekends free. I was so delusional about our relationship that I referred to him as my husband to random people like my dental hygenist. And all my friends would tell me stories about how things might work out with these dips because they knew someone who knew someone who dated a dip just like mine, and that girl ended up getting married and living happily ever after. But that's the exception. And we're not the exception - we're the rule..” ended Dara and she sits down, spent.
But Krystal has been listening from the very beginning until the very end
“OK. So let me see if I understand. What you're saying is that when people tell me about some girl they know who dated a guy for thirteen years, and then he finally married her -- that's the exception.” said Krystal and Dara nodded so Krystal continue
“And the rule is that guys - like Lay – who are with girls – like me - for seven years without getting married - are never getting married.” Krystal is serious.
Dara and Tiffany freezes, tries to backtrack.
“It's not what she meant in that...” said Tiffany
“No. No, no, no.
