Kris’s Bar, Gangnam District – Seoul, South Korea.

At the evening before the bar officially opened, Kris has the staff (of about 20) assembled for the pre-shift meeting. He consults a clipboard as he talks.

“Okay - Bobby, you cover 4 through 6 and pitch in with the buzzers when you can.”

The guy named Bobby cut him, “No...I'm on 8 thru 10. I'm always on 8 through 10. Been working here 18 months doing 8 through 10.”

“Right. Bogum you take 4 through 6.”

The staff looks at each other - perplexed.

“Boss. Bogum quit like 10 months ago.” Bobby said as the workers chuckling.

Kris rifles through his papers, not sure what he's looking for. He slams his clipboard on the bar, “Is there any reason we're even having this meeting? Seriously? Does this serve any purpose?”

The group voices their opinions - a resounding something like ‘not really’, ‘not for me’, but mostly says "NO".

“Good. Great. Meeting adjourned. Back to work.” As the group disperses, Kris heads around the bar. He sees Park Bom walking away and calls after her.

“Hey, Bommie - any calls for me?”

“Since you asked me 11 minutes ago? No, not a lot of phone traffic.”

Park Bom starts to turn away as she sees Kris grab his cell phone; look at it, then put it down. He grabs a beer, takes a swig - then grabs his cell phone again - staring at it, willing it to ring. He puts it down again. A huge smile grows on Park Bom's face.

“Oh my God.”

“What?” Kris asked while his phone still on his hand.

“It's happened to you, Wu.”

“What has happened to me?”

“What's her name?” Bom playfully asked.

“Who?”

“The girl, Kris.”

“There's no girl.” Kris Wu now is in denial. He takes his beer and heads down the bar.

“You can't hide it man. I know strung out and you are strung – out.”

“Okay, please –”

“This is amazing!” Bom said as she followed Kris to his office, “You can't focus, right? Jumping every time your phone rings, checking your email 100 times a day… Wishing you could write songs. No, feeling the need to bring up her name in random conversations...” Kris stops at the office door.

“It's always the same, Kris. And it has happened to you, my friend. Trust me.” Kris looks at Park Bom, her words
