It was a fine day in Korea, and you were at your desk writing a letter to be sent to the YG Training Building for Team B. Brainstorming for weeks just what to write in the letter. So careful with your words, wanting your letter to stand out from everybody else’s. But deep inside you didn’t really care you just want them to know how you feel. You spent hours and you were finally done with it.

“Yes!” you screamed. Suddenly, you thought of giving them your personalised bracelets. You had about 10 of them and giving away 6 wouldn’t hurt. All 6 bracelets were identical and the letters hanging from the bracelet spelled out ‘United’. You got it from London when you were there with your family and it was from a street seller by a beach. You were sure that the bracelet was one of a kind and it was special. Then, you sealed the bracelets and the letter in an envelope and you walked to the post office. Before you sent it in, you whispered to yourself..

“ May this letter reach them, I really want them to know my love for them.” Then you put the letter in the mailbox, hoping that the mailman wouldn’t let you down.

A few weeks later, at the YG Training Centre

“Hey guys! We’ve got mail!” Hanbin said bringing in a box filled with letters and gifts.

“Yaa, seriously, we are so lucky! Im so grateful!” replied Jinhwan.

“Hanbin, let me help you with that, seems heavy!” Bobby offered after seeing Hanbin walk in.

“NO, I’m fine with this one, help me with the other box outside the room.” Hanbin instructed.

“Woah! There’s more?!” Bobby asked and walked outside. He picked up one box and came back in.

“GUYS, THERE ARE MORE BOXES! 3 MORE! ALL FILLED TO THE BRIM!” Bobby shouted while coming in with the box. Yunhyung, Donghyuk and Junhwe went out to pick up the boxes.

“These boxes are pretty heavy! I feel so special!” Donghyuk said while giggling. After all the boxes were in, they sat down in a circle and started going through the gifts and letters. There were more gifts than letters though, but they were happy about it. They received Snapback, Tshirts, Jewellery and someone even bought Bobby Beats Headphones!

“Yaa, Bobby hyung, this fan sent you Beats by Dre! You’re so lucky!” Donghyuk shouted!

“ You serious?! Wow! Ahh, this is making me feel so guilty! I really wanna debut now! How do I pay back for this! Seriously!” Bobby rambled. While everyone was busy opening the big gifts and getting all excited, Jinhwan and Hanbin were reading the letters that were in a few of the boxes. Donghyuk and Yunhyung realised that both Hanbin and Jinhwan were starting to tear up. So, they asked

“Hanbin, Jinhwan! Are you both crying?!” Both of them looked up and the other members of Team B saw the tears in the leader’s and the elder’s eyes. Feeling curious why, they stopped opening the gifts and approached them.

“Hanbin-ah, why are you crying? We’ve never seen you cry since we lost at the Finale!” asked Junhwe.

“This letter, you guys gotta read it, its really touching.” Hanbin replied, Jinhwan was nodding beside him in agreement.

“Seriously, it is. I thought I wouldn’t cry anymore after WIN but this got to me.” Jinhwan told Junhwe to read it out to everyone, so, he did. 

The Letter____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Dear Team B,

    Its only been a few weeks since WIN ended and I broke into tears when I saw that all of you did when you lost. I never felt connected to a group of people so much, maybe because I was exposed to all of your hardships, that I could understand how you all felt. It was a bitter night for me, but I respected your acceptance of everything at the end of it. Rumours are spreading, that you won’t debut as 6 or will get disbanded . So many unconfirmed news that are shaking this whole fanbase. But, even if this is true, I want you guys to know that everyone loves you all as 6. Team B wouldn’t be the same with different members. We would do anything to make sure YG keeps you guys together. All the all nighters, all the tears and sweat you’ve shed, the injuries you all received, you did everything together. So, if YG ever decides to disband you guys or change a member, just walk out the door, cause you all are talented. There are many companies out there that would take you, but I know YG wouldn’t be an idiot and let a bunch of talented people go just like that. You all have gone through a lot, and I’m sure you’ll debut one day. Dreams are worth more than to just be thrown away and wasted just like that. You’ve came a long way, sacrificed too much to give up. Bobby from the US, Donghyuk and Junhwe who left school, Jinhwan, you left your family in Jeju just to practice in YG. Not forgetting Hanbin, you haven’t been sleeping cause you’re so busy bearing the duty as a leader. Yunhyung, always working hard cause you think you’re not good enough, when you actually are!You’re a group of dream chasers, and thats the thing I admire about you. You’ve inspired us, all of us. Just keep this in your head, “ Good Things Come To Those Who Wait.” Stay strong, and just Believe. 

PS: There should be 6 bracelets in this letter and I hope you guys like it and the message behind it!

When Junhwe, stopped reading, he looked up and saw that all s wiping the tears off their cheeks.

“That,was, so emotional. Hanbin, where’re the bracelets?” Junhwe asked. Hanbin looked inside the envelope and took them out.

“Here they are! They’re identical with different colours!” Hanbin said.

“The thing hanging from it, it spells out something!” said Jinhwan.

“Right, it says ‘UNITED’.” Hanbin replied.

“Wow, it must be a friendship bracelet. We should all wear it.” suggested Yunhyung.

“Yeah, its perfect for us. No matter what we’ll always stay together, always United right?” asked Bobby.

“Of course, through thick and thin, we’re a team.” said Hanbin.

“I really wanna thank the fans for all these gifts, I wanna repay them.” said Junhwe.

“We all wanna do that, and the fan who gave us this letter, (YN).” said Donghyuk.

“The perfect way for us to repay them is by giving them the best debut ever. We gotta keep working hard and we’ll show them we’re worth the wait” said Hanbin.
