Mother's Day
Poems(Random, Different Kind)Mother's Day
Mom. Mama. Mamo. Mudra. Mother.
A name, a special name of a woman.
Not many get to use that name.
Some choose not to.
Others wish with all their heart but not able to.
Others were given a chance by others to be able to.
Many are the best for it.
Many are worst for it.
Many are not meant for it.
Many shouldn't have been made for it.
Mother's Day
A child yearns for a mother's hug,
But only cold air greeted the child.
A child yearns for a hot meal,
But only a rambling stomach greeted the child.
Mother's Day
She wished to be with her mother,
But she belongs to some other.
She wished to stay with her mother,
But she is not part of those other.
Mother's Day
Time seems to flow too fast,
And she still misses her.
She wants to spend the day with her,
And she can only bring flowers to her grave.
Mother's Day
I used to hold on to your hand when I was scared.
I used to hold on to your skirt with comfort.
I used to hold on to your hand crossing the street.
I used to be your shadow wherever you go.
Now, I hold your hand when you are scared.
Now, I help you put your clothes on with comfort.
Now, I hold your hand when we cross the street.
Now, I follow you around like a shadow wherever you go.
