______’s POV:

It’s been about 3 years since we left Korea, Somi and I “moved out” more like got kicked out of our parents’ house and we moved into an apartment. Somi’s slowly starting to move on she got a job at the marketplace down the road and her friends are setting her up on blind dates. But they all end up disasters, I on the other hand i got a job at a kpop music store in koreatown. I was driving home and entered our apartment and set my keys on the table and walked to the kitchen to make dinner as usual Somi doesn't get home until late at night. I made Phở and set up all the ingredients on the counter, i checked the clock it was already 9 and Somi wasn't home yet. I decided to make my bowl first, i watched City Hunter and ate when i finished the episode Somi came through the door in a dress and heels.
"Woah ho ho. Why so dressed up?" i raised an eyebrow
"I was set on another blind date.." she took off her heels
"Come on sit down next to me, tell me everything while i make you a bowl." i patted the seat next to me, she limped to me and sat on the stool she rubbed her feet in pain "You should wear heels more, you'll get used to them more." i said pouring soup into a bowl

"I only wear them on special events."
"So who was it this time?" i questioned
"Some guy named John he's policeman."
"Mmmm. A policeman, what's he like?"
"Well.. he's nice, tall, and fun to be around."
"AH! SO NICE! When is the next time you'll see him?" i handed her her food.
"I don't think there will be a next time." she started to eat her pho

"What wrong with him now?"

"I told you he's a police, what if he's gone all the time, what if he get's shot from a shooting and get's hurt?! I can deal with that no."

"Somi oh my god why have you been so picky lately? Andrew was too tall, Steve was to dark, Derek was too pretty! I might just get you a kitten for Christmas to start your collection.." i shook my head

"Shut up!" she smacked my arm

"It's true! You're TOO picky!" i wagged my finger at her, she continued to eat her food. I looked at her and shook my head and watched another episode of City Hunter 'ahh Lee Minho you look so nice.'

Somi's POV:

I walking into a resturant with some guy my friends set me up with, what was his name? Jacob? Joseph? ah who gives a crap "You having a nice time?" he asked me
"Y-yeah." i faked a smile, he had taken me to an expensive resturant and ordered something expensive but all that came out was a small plate with what looked like meat. "What is this again?"
"Filet Mignon" he smiled, i grabbed my knife to cut it but he held my hand back "Let me get it for you." he grabbed the knife out my hand and started cutting the meat for me 'i can cut my own meat, i'm not handicap.' i rolled my eyes, i looked at the steak he cut a peice I looked at it, it was still red. I tried it, it was good i didn't feel like eating. 'Eating out like this is nice, but i'd rather have McDonalds or something'

We walked through the park and watched the sunset, i would have enjoyed it but i was wearing heels and i never wear heels.. I tried to hide the pain but i also tried to show it to see how he'd react, but to my suprise he just kept walking with me. 'Do you not see i'm in pain?' i thought to myself 'you're suppose to be like OMO! Are you okay? Do you need some ice? Do you want to rest? Want a piggyback ride? Something like that but nooope' we walked to his car and he drove me home and undid my seat belt for me, he got out the car and walked me to my door 

"Thanks for tonight, i had a nice time." i faked a smile
"Me too, maybe we can do this again next time?"
"Definetly" i lied, and walked inside the door.

'Men in America are just jerks. Where is my prince charming?'
