True Friend
Lost Memories (ON HIATUS)Early Friday morning Hwa Young went to the library to kill some time before going anywhere else. While reading a pair of hands covered her eyes. "Guess who" A cute voice asked.
"Ryeowook oppa" Hwa Young answered calmly and with her answer the boy named Ryeowook, uncovered her eyes.
"How come you knew it was me?" Ryeowook asked
"It's simple" "You're the only male that I knew who has a sharp voice" Hwa Young answered simply.
Ryeowook pouted when he heard her answer.
"But then I find it attractive." She said.
"Why?" He asked the girl.
"Um... Because that makes you unique among the others" She replied.
Ryeowook's face got brighter now that the statement he wants to hear came from his friend's mouth.
He stared Hwa Young for a long time.
"W-what? Is there something wrong?" She stuttered.
"Nothing you just made me the happiest man in the world" He said smiling to her.
"Oh is that so?" She asked closing her book .
"Yup!" Ryeowook nodded like a child."Ah, Hwa-Young" He called her.
"Yes?"
"Are you free today?" He asked.
Then the girl thought for a while and made the boy impatient "So... Are you free?" Ryeowook impatiently asked.
"Yes" Hwa-Young answered with a nod.
"Yes!" The boy mentally shouted for joy. "Then I'm going to wait for you in your classroom this afternoon." He said as he stood up near Hwa-Young.
"Don't be late" He said as he hugged her.
"Okay" Hwa-Young replied like an idiot. After that they went to their own classes.
Later that afternoon
~Hwa Young's POV~
"Ryeowook oppa" I called him.
"Yes?" He then looked at me. His body stiffened when I suddenly hugged him.
"Thank you for everything" I said as memories tried to flood in my mind.
"How can I repay you with all of your help?" I asked. I could feel his body relax as he hugged me back.
"You know this may sound cheesy but" He slowly raised my head up enough for our eyes to meet. "I just want you to stay at my side even after we graduate" He said looking at my eyes. I cried in his shoulders knowing that this won't last long since they want me to stay with my parents and their riches.
"Are you okay?" He asked after I finally calmed down.
"Y-yes" I lied.
"Come I'll send you back to your house" He offered and extended his hands and all that I could do is to accept those hands and say thank you to him.
Today's the last day of living a simple life. Tomorrow will be a new chapter as I live a life as a heir of the company.
