I closed my eyes as I threw myself on bed after a depressing day of detention with Daehyun. I longed for Jiyeon as I spent the day without meeting her as I was stuck at the Principal's office. Daehyun's words floated onto my mind,

"She seems afraid- afraid to trust you again."

"..She looks afraid that if she falls in love with you again, she would get hurt.."

".. You might still have many friends who are girls.."

".. And you might dump her again.."

"No, I won't." I assured myself firmly. I will never let her go again. Never...

"Jiyeon!! Wait for me." I called out and ran after her who was quite far ahead of me. Jiyeon turned round with a stoic face and paused her steps, waiting for me. I was panting when I caught up with her and she walked away as I tried to catch my breath.

"Jiyeon, wait." I called and grabbed her wrist. I interwined her fingers with mine while Jiyeon gave me a what-are-you-doing look.

"I'm your boyfriend." I replied and I managed to catch a flash of smile formed on her lips. Hand in hand, we marched to school with me blubbering along the way and Jiyeon struggling to keep a straight face. I'll restore the old you, I thought to myself as we walked through the park and smiled with my own thought.

"What are you smiling at?"

"The way you are struggling to keep a straight face."

"I am not." Jiyeon replied as her cheeks tinted pink from blushing. I brushed her cherry cheeks with my fingers, causing her to blush even more. She pushed my hand
