7.5.2 EXTRA CHAPTER [END]

168 Hours

It’s Chanyeol’s most awaited day.

I remember, we were on the hospital when he asked me to attend his wedding. It’s his request in return of the help he offered me.

The clock ticks fast as I watched it. She’s not yet here…she should come now or else we’ll be late…

I walked back and forth. Anxious if she’ll come. But I believe she will-

“Are you there?”

Someone knocked and shouted behind my door.

She finally came.

Rushing, I held the door knob of my apartment and opened the door. It’s really her.

I’m glad she came.

“Am I late?”

“Yeah? A bit. Come in!”

She took a step in and walked slowly towards a couch.

“Can I sit down?”

“Of course!”

I went in a couch beside her and rubbed my hands. I feel so nervous for an unknown reason.

“Jimin.”

“Oh? Aren’t we going yet?”

“Ah, we…we are. I just wanna have a seat…”

Jimin smiled and fixed her hat. She stood up and started walking.

She was wearing floral red dress and 2 inch heels.

“You seem nervous. Aren’t you?”

“Yes…you…look pretty.”

She turned back to me and held her bag as high as her shoulders. Her cheeks are blushing a little, making it fluff. Smiling sweetly, she placed her hands on her waist.

“I wish I look prettier than my sister. Even just today!”

Laughing, she walked outside and waited for me. I was a bit stunned of what she said. My heart beats fast.

Not exactly how it beat for Jinri. But... almost.

“Let’s go?”

“Ah yeah.”

I walked outside my apartment room and stood beside her. Our eyes met. And I felt a bit awkward to her. I offered my hands, expecting her to hold it immediately. But I was wrong. She looked at me innocently. Like how Jinri looked at me before. Memories kept coming back to my mind and it hurts me a little.

“What’s that for?”

“Let’s walk…together.”

“For what? We can walk without holding hands.”

Slowly, I placed my hands on my head and brushed my hair with my fingers. I’m embarrassed to the point that I can’t look at her in the eyes.

“I’m sorry…but…I meant it…I want to…hold hands with you while walking…”

She remained still in her position. The both of us did not talk. I patiently waited for her reply but she did not say a word. Instead, she sighed and held my other hand gently and started dragging me to walk to our destination.

“You don’t have to this because I look like Jinri so much. I don’t need a half-hearted feeling for me.”

“But…”

We stopped walking and stared at each other’s eyes. Her eyes were sparkling. It’s true that she resembles Jinri so much. Even with her lashes. And the tips of her fingers.

“My feelings aren’t half-hearted…”

Her eyebrows arched and she continued walking and dragging me to the location of Chanyeol's wedding. Still holding hands.

Her hands were sweating and they’re hot. Her skin is soft that it tickles my nerves while our palms are bonded together.

Church bell can be heard ringing outside. The wedding just started. Astoundingly, there were more visitors than I expected.

Chanyeol is surely friendly. Beside's she got a pretty bride.

The visitors entered one by one along the aisle. Of course I entered with Jimin who is my partner.

I honestly did not call her just because I don’t have a partner.

 I just…really want… to be with her.

The ceremony started: The bride walking with her brother and being waited by her father and Chanyeol; Exchanging vows and rings; Sharing stares and smiles and of course, the KISS.

Everyone clapped and rejoiced for the couple. Jimin isn’t really amused but she’s smiling at me, trying to convey something that I don’t really understand.

"She really looks like Baekhyun..."

She heaved a sigh and crossed her legs. Her expression shows that she is thinking about something. I am speechless and I still feel some gap between our relationship.

“I wonder if I could get a kiss from someone and get married like this…Ah...I am so jealous…”

Giggling quietly, she fixed her dress and remained seated.

“Just wait…who knows right?”

She smiled at me. Sweet and bright. Something you could not simply ignore so I gave her back a sweet smile.

My heart throbs loud. I feel uneasy. But at the same time, I'm happy that I’m with her.

Maybe this is the answer to Jinri’s wish.

Maybe I am gradually fulfilling her 7th wish.

And maybe someday, I’ll be with this girl in this same place. Wearing outfits for the groom and the bride. And if that happens, though jinri’s not by my side, atleast I know that I am making her smile.

Because I’m sure that we share the same feelings wherever she is. And now, I’m little by little, starting to move on from my bittersweet past.

And as long as there’s a remaining wish from hers, I will accomplish it. Because she remains special to me even if I’ll found someone who will be more special than her, in my life, that I could finally treasure forever.
