Suddenly my head aches.

It feels like stinging.

I try to ignore the pain but it only becomes worse.

I cover my head with my hands, trying to stop it.

But it doesn't help. 

I'm falling. On the ground.

Cold water touches my hands. Then my clothes become wet.

My mind feels dizzy and everything is blurred.

Someone carries me away.

I don't notice anything anymore.

"How was work today?", Minzy asks me as we are sitting on the couch.

I'm looking down, kneading my fingers. How shall I tell them that I lost my job?

"Chaerin, are you listening?", Minzy asks staggered.

"Um, yes of course. Work was bad like every day..", I mumble.

"Oh. I never knew you don't like your job.."

Damn. 

"I'm joking."

My smile is faked as I pat on Minzy's shoulder.

Dara comes in.

"Hello you two! What are you doing?", she wants to know.

"Chatting.", I answer.

"Nice, how was your day?"

Gosh, please stop it.

This issue is even causing me headache. I'm glad that I was lying in my bed tonight and not on a dirty, wet sidewalk.

"Well, guys, to be honest - I've lost my job.", I finally confess.

They look at me with big eyes, totally shocked.

Bom enters the room.

"You did what?? Why?"

I sigh.

"My boss caught me while dreaming and dismissed me. That's it.", I explain.

Now there's silcence. Dara's staring on the ground.

Then she breathes in.

"Well, it's not your fault. You will find another job soon, I'm sure."

Dara is niceness in person. God, what would I do without these girls?

Even Bom is smiling now, looking understanding.

Minzy my back.

"To be dismissed for dreaming, wow. Your work must have been really bad.", she says.

I nod. Dara hugs me.

"We are not angry at you.", her whisper fills my ear.

"Thank you. I would be nothing without you..", I say shaky. Somehow their concern is tearing me up.

"Neither we wouldn't be anything without each other.", Bom agrees.

And so a rainy day ends again. What will happen next to me, the unlucky wretch?
