Few days later

Mirae walk to her campus yard, carrying her lunch box. One day of the week, her classes were full from morning till evening, it’s always her day off from café and she could come home rather early. She sits on open bench and start to eat her lunch. She not really had friends here in college, not that she hard to befriended but more to she rarely got into any conversation. When others talk about pretty clothes, party or which lipstick to wear, she just know where to buy cheaper children clothes. Not that she complaining, she’s just not into them. Myunghee is her first priority.

“Myunghee’s mommy, right?” a rather sweet voice startled her. She quickly raise her head, to meet a pair of angelic eyesmile.

“Joonmyeon ssi?”

“Ah, how are you? What are you doing here?” he sit by her.

“Uhm, eat lunch?”

Joonmyeon let a hearty laugh. “I know.”

“I study here, senior year. What are you doing here, Joonmyeon ssi? Didn’t an idol supposed to be busy and all?”

“My father is a professor here, engineering major. i just went home from meeting him when I saw you, sitting alone. And I don’t have schedule till afternoon later.”

Mirae nodded her head.

“Why you’re haven’t text me yet? I’m waiting, you know.”

“I didn’t see the urgency of texting you, Joonmyeon ssi.” She said, flabbergasted.

“Lemme see your phone.”

She handed her phone to Joonmyeon, who quickly type his number down.

“What?”

“If you don’t wanna text me, I will. So, see you again Mirae.”

With a full smile, Joonmyeon left Mirae alone. She froze for few seconds, did Kim Joonmyeon of EXO just ask her number?

“Mirae!” Jiae waving her hand to Mirae, who approach the child care centre. Jiae is one of the caretakers which around Mirae’s age, older by one year, she consider Jiae as her older sister.

“Jiae unnie. How’s Myunghee? She didn’t make any ruckus, right?”

“She’s is fine. But why you never tell me about his daddy?”

“What? There is no such thing like her daddy. I’m all alone in this.”

 “Come on. Then who is that?” Jiae point at the playground, Myunghee sit on someone lap, play swings. No other than Minseok. Mirae look around, its not that crowded anymore some kids already picked and Mirae is one of the last.

“He is no one, trust me.”

“I actually think that he’s somekind of stranger, when I heard Myunghee call him daddy. If he really her daddy, Mirae…” Jiae stopped speaking when she saw Myunghee running to them.

“Mommy is here! Mommy, listen, daddy gonna take us for cake because Myunghee is being a very good girl!” Myunghee beamed happily, tugging Mirae’s coat asking for a hug.

Mirae shift her gaze to Minseok, throwing an asking look when her arms reach for Myunghee.

“Yes, Mirae. I’m taking Myunghee for cake.”

“But she hasn’t eaten her dinner yet.”

“Then we eat dinner, then cake.”

“HOORRAAAYYY! Dinner with daddy!!” Myunghee look like she will be a little sun. Mirae wanna decline at first, but seeing how happy Myunghee is, she can’t say no.

After saying goodbye to Jiae, the three walk to Minseok’s car. Minseok and Myunghee walk hand in hand while Mirae carry her own bag on left shoulder and Myunghee’s bag on the right. Suddenly an arm reaches for her, taking Myunghee’s bag.

“Myunghee’s bag looks heavy.” Minseok said softly, before continue walk, leaving Mirae speechless and stoned.

“Mommy quick, daddy and Myunghee is hungry.” Myunghee waving her small hands, which make Mirae walk faster. Soon they’re already on wheels, heading to restaurant.

During dinner, Mirae can clearly see Minseok actually care for Myunghee. They went to restaurant which has a high chair for toddler, when they ordering food he ask what she and Myunghee wants, helping her cutting her food to smaller pieces and feed her occasionally. Its like, he indeed her real daddy.

“Mirae whats wrong? Are the restaurant not into your liking?” Minseok ask, snapping her day dreaming.

“Uh no, I just wondering, Minseok ssi. Why you cared about us so much? Myunghee can really attach to you. Its harder to separate you from her now.”

“Cant i?”

“That’s not really a question, Minseok ssi. No, you can’t. You don’t have any responsibilities for us, for Myunghee.”

“After I think for a while, Im not object being daddy for Myunghee.”

“What?” Mirae nearly spitted her food.

“Yes, Mirae. Im want to be father figure for Myunghee.”

Instantly, Mirae’s head spinning on high speed.
