Description

A marriage proposed out of nowhere was something common for them. When a certain Choi suddenly proposed the idea even without something to offer her. There were no attraction between them, not even an ounce of feeling one was willing to give but it was always possible for an ice to melt. How can love ever start with an expirement? Moreover, with resentment?

Foreword

It was Seoul’s finest day indeed. The weather was great, it had everyone packing up to go with their families to venture on a picnic. Young couples decided to show their undying attention for each other as they went to NamsanTower to do the lock things. While two people were doing nothing in an expensive coffee shop only higher class people could afford to.

Krystal, who busied herself with reading a magazine she never really took interest with, not with the new dresses that just came out right now but she knew that a man’s piercing eyes were staring intently at her.

“Exactly what are we doing here, oppa?” the word came out so foreign in her tongue but she had said it in her perfect English. She flinched at what she just said though, shrugging inwardly as she thought how idiotic it might be to take her words back especially to the man whom she never really knew after all. This man was a stranger whom she just knew a week ago from a mutual friend’s party.

“Krystal Jung, would you be my wife?” the man replied and finally rested his back on his chair, giving her a smirk she didn’t miss to see.

“And what would I get in return if I do? My price is quite high, Mr.” Krystal stated easily and faced him properly this time.

It was true that this certain Choi had distinct features of his own. His eyes were enigmatic and if she was in an abnormal state of mind, she would’ve certainly fell for this guy who just proposed her marriage.

“Bull, Stal. You do know that many girls would die to be in your position-“

“Cut the bull and you do know I’m not just any other girl Mr. Choi because if I was perhaps taken by your charms on our first meeting, we wouldn’t be having this superb conversation many girls would die to be in.” The younger girl mocked and let out a laugh that he knew was so plastic. This girl really was business-minded after all.

Minho could only stare at her at awe. Krystal Jung had so many things to be proud of despite the cold remarks he would always get from her, she was interesting. He knew that she really wasn’t one of those girls because the younger girl’s last name itself explains why she was very much like this. Jung.

The Jungs were always sophisticated. They hold a name in the society which none of the other names could ever reach. Perhaps it was because they were always so good in hiding their bad issues if they ever had one anyway. His last name held power too but not as much as this woman in front of her. Maybe in another lifetime, he would be the King and this woman would be his concubine. Never her queen or he will be damned by her over-all entity.

“The only thing I could give you is-“

Her soft lips were on his already – cutting him off to whatever he was going to say next. Before he could even respond, she pulled away and smiled so sweetly. Was it fake or really pure? He was having a hard time figuring out this girl no matter how many times he pulled his ‘sweet antics’ on her.

“Then I should now call myself Choi Soo Jung. You’re not an inch different from my other suitors but you’re interesting, I didn’t think someone like you could actually propose to me in such way. Gosh, Choi Minho, you should be worse than you actually are right now if you don’t want me divorcing you in the fastest way possible too. That’s your only requirement for staying with me, for giving me your name,” Krystal ended her talk with a wink.

The girl flawlessly swayed her hips from left to right as she gracefully walked out from the coffee shop leaving him once again baffled at her strange behaviour.
