All the EXO members were already gathered in SM’s conference room at 8am in the morning and they already had an idea why. SM was going to debut a girl group as their sister group but the CEO, Lee Soo Man, was nowhere to be found so the members talked among themselves, guessing and joking about who the debutants were because they really had no idea who was to debut.

They had a lot of trainees that has the capacity to be the next idol but SM was fickle, you were to be chosen when you least expect it. At least, that’s what happened with their group.

Among all members who were talking excitedly, Lay sat on his chair quietly and thought about her. If she was still at SM then maybe this would be her time to shine. She just had so much quality with her. She could’ve even gone solo and be the next BoA but because of him, she lost it all. His jaw hardened at the thought as he shook his head. She was doing fine now anyway so he had no idea why he still thought about that when it happened ages ago.

Just in time, Lee Soo Man arrived carrying folders with him, probably containing the members’ profile. They all stood up and bowed respectfully before sitting down and waited for the CEO to say something but he stood there looking at each of them but he stared at him longer than he did at the others before sighing and finally speaking up.

“Good morning! I’m assuming you already know why I’ve called you here?” the members nodded and waited for him to go on,

“Upon majority’s decision, SM is once again going to debut a girl group and this isn’t just going to be just like any other girl group. They will be your sister group and will be consisted of 5 members, 2 of which came from China while the other 3 are Koreans. They’re similar to your group but their concept will be mainly electric and will be showcasing experimental outfits,” he continued and raised his eyebrow, “Any questions?”

“How are they different from us?” Suho asked,

“Interesting question, Joon Myun. As expected from the leader,” Soo man winked and continued, “They wouldn’t be so much different from you but once they’ve established their group, each of them will pursue different activities that they excel at and hopefully, they can do that as soon as possible so I won’t be wasting any more time and show you the members,” he turned the projector on and it revealed a petite but beautiful girl,

“This is Park Sun Young but she will be known as Luna and she’ll be their main singer. Joon Myun, you know her well right?” Suho blushed furiously and coughed as he looked away. They all laughed and the other members were introduced as well.

Amber Liu, a Chinese girl that used to live in Los Angeles will showcase a tomboy image.

Song Qian but will be taking the name Victoria as her stage name. A talented dancer and gymnast from China.

Choi Jinri a.k.a Sulli – one of the two visuals of f(x) and will be mainly promoting cutesy image.

But before the last member was to be introduced, the projector suddenly shut down and they’re heart stopped for a second when their CEO cursed loudly and rolled his eyes as he stormed outside.

“Well that was one way to drop the F bomb,” Kris mumbled and nudged Lay, “Any idea who the last member may be?” he asked but Lay had no idea either and Kris should know better that he doesn’t really associate with other people,

Before he could answer Lee Soo Man already went back to the room and sighed, “Instead of showing their profiles. Why not let them come themselves right? Girls, come in,” and the girls strutted in wearing smiles but one stood out among them and Lay’s heart stopped when his gaze landed on her,

“Before I forget to introduce the last member, here is Jung Soo Jung but she will be using her American name-“ “Krystal,” The EXO members said in unison and looked at Lay who was petrified in his seat, void of any emotions but all of them knew that he must be so broken inside.

“Yes. It seems like you’re quite popular with them, Soo Jung,” Soo Man joked and patted her head. She only smiled and walked until she reached Lay’s seat. She swiveled the chair in order to have him staring at her and held her hand out,

“My name is Krystal Jung and I will be promoting as the visual and lead dancer,” she bowed and he had no other choice but to accept the hand he swore he would never let go of and she quickly let go and ran to the CEO’s side once again.

“Quite the entrance, Ms. Jung,” Soo Man had an edge to his voice but her gaze was still fixated on Lay and she smiling coldly at him and she swore she’d defy gravity just to bring him down.

In this story, EXO debuted first obviously because it fits my storyline that way and for the Krystal and Lay shipping, well that was very random. Lay happened to be my bias in Exo and Krystal in f(x) so I thought why not them? It may not really work out in real life but this is the land of fiction where every author gets a mind of their own right? ;)
