Lay

I stretched my hand forward as I watched how Mei exhaled and closed her eyes.

She trusted me to do this.

I touched Luhan's cheek and my energy began to drain.

I could feel how my head got lighter as my eyelids became heavier.

I felt the tingling in my fingers and I knew that Luhan was fully healed.

I passed out.

Narrator's POV

Lay had now healed Luhan. Mei looked up as Lay's head dropped down on Luhan's stomach.

The latter twitched and slowly opened up his eyes.

"What happened?" Said Luhan in a low toned voice.

"You fell and passed out." Kris explained.

Mei gave Kris a penetrating stare as she cleared and said:

"Not just that, you were about to bleed to death if Lay and Xiumin didn't get here in time."

"Lay and Xiumin?" Luhan questioned as if he didn't get anything about what was happening right now.

"She knows." This time it was Xiumin who spoke.

Luhan's mouth turned into the shape of an 'o' as he adverted his gaze from the girl next to him as if he was in shame.

Mei shifted her position as she leaned in an put her arms around Luhan's broad shoulders.

Luhan

'Du-dun du-dun.'

Heart stop, please, I can't take this anymore.

I want to make her mine. But I can't, no I shouldn't.

I felt how she came closer, her breath against my neck.

*Oh please, why do I have these heightened senses!? Heart slow down, take it easy...*

"There is no need to feel ashamed Luhan, you're not at fault. You did nothing wrong. You were just yourself. No you ARE just yourself."

*How am I supposed to control my heart when she is this squishy!?*

I turned my head to the left where the beautiful voice and it's owner were placed.

I looked into her eyes as I felt my own burn and tear up.

How can someone who seemed so fragile turn into someone so strong, someone who understands you so easily.

I know I know, such a short chapter. But as I said I find this story quite confusing so I will take it slow.
