Road Trip to The Mountain

On the day before the field trip to the Sealed Temple, Joo Eun was trying to figuring out of what to bring for the trip. Her hair is up to a bun with her glasses on her face. She's wearing her yellow and white sleeve shirt with a sleepy cat on it, blue checkered pants, and pink bear sleepers. According to Mr. Shin, the trip is five to six hour long by car, but lucky for them they're going to have a personal tour bus by Mr. Shin's good friends of his. Joo Eun checks on her laptop to see what the weather is going to be like once she gets there with her classmates and her friend.

With a sigh, Joo Eun scratch her back of her head with frustration, "What to bring and what to wear!? I'm staying in that place for a month from what Mr. Shin says." She said to herself. Then she heard a knock from her door. When the door is open her elder sister, Jessica enter with her hair back with a single eccentric head band. She is also wearing a complete set of pink pajamas with small roses as detail.

"Having trouble picking clothes for tomorrow?" Jessica asked walking to the bed and sat down. Joo Eun nodded with a sincere smile, "Yeah. I need some of your assistance Unnie. After all, you have Umma's instinct in fashion." She mention making Jessica smile, "Let me see the clothes you think you should bring for tomorrow." She orders Joo Eun and pointed out from the jackets, pants, shirts to sleeves, sweaters, and two pairs of shoes. Some are super cute, but some are not so cute.

When Jessica examines all of the clothes from head to toe, Jessica chose one of the best, cute, simple and outdoor clothes she can picture her sister wearing. "There, that's the end of finding the right clothes. I still can't believe you're going to be gone for a month." Jessica said with a sad look. Joo Eun knew that Jessica and Krystal are going to be alone without having her around. Ever since Krystal graduated, the three moved out so the parents can have an adventure by heading to the U.S to follow their dreams.

"I know Unnie, but hey I'll be back before Krystal's birthday and celebrating Halloween." Joo Eun stated with a smile. "I know you'll be back." Jessica said crossing her arms and tilting her head with her tongue sticking out in her cheek, "But I'm not sure if you’re okay being surrounded by boys on your trip." She said in concern and protective. "I'm sure some boys are taken or possibly you-know-what. I mean how bad can it be when you're heading to the bamboo forest to check out the Sealed Temple?" Joo Eun ensures her protective sister with her smile.

Jessica sigh and knows what Joo Eun will do when she gets there, "You know something else, you sound so much like Appa ensuring Umma he'll be fine when venturing out to other regions here." She admits. Suddenly, Jessica and Joo Eun heard a voice, "And you sound like Umma when being worried with Appa's safety, Unnie." When they turn to their side, their youngest sister Krystal came in with her hair down and wearing her pink shirt, black jacket with gray cinnamon logo jacket around, black pants, and pink socks.

Jessica shrugged, "Well, I can't help myself since Umma put me in charge to watch both of you." She stated. Joo Eun and Krystal sigh, "Eldest sister." They thought and shaking their heads while Joo Eun placing her clothes into her suitcase.

Krystal cleared , "What time are you leaving Unnie?" She asked and crossing her arms, "I'll be leaving tomorrow morning at 4 o'clock since it's a five to six hour trip from here. Now, that I completed my suitcase for a month time for me to sleep early." Joo Eun said and zipping her suitcase.

"I'm dropping you off tomorrow right?" Jessica asked and Joo Eun nodded.

Joo Eun is sleeping peacefully in her nice cozy bed, but all of the sudden her clock went off by an annoying ring. She woke up with a yawn, grabbing the clock to check the time. "3 o'clock already?" Joo Eun groans as she got up from bed, walks to the bathroom to brush her teeth and bringing her toothbrush, small toothpaste, and a brush. Also, bringing her are shampoo, sponge, and soap. As Joo Eun packs her last items, her suitcase couldn't zip it shut. So, she tries to close it with force, but failed. She also try to sit on it, however she's too light. As a solution, she needs two people in order for her to zip her suitcase. She changed her clothes to something extra comfy for her five to six hour journey.

After Joo Eun changed, she walks to Jessica's bedroom and shook her shoulder softly, "Unnie, time to drop me off now." She said causing Jessica to yawn and nodded, "Plus, I need you and Krystal help by sitting down on my suitcase. So, I can zip the suitcase shut." She stated as Jessica got up while rubbing her eyes and got up from her bed.

Soon, Joo Eun enters Krystal's bedroom and shook her shoulder softly, "Little sister, help me out by sitting on my suitcase for a moment please?" Joo Eun asks. Krystal opens her eyes with a yawn as she got up and walks to her bedroom. Then she sat on her suitcase along with Jessica. Joo Eun zips the suitcase completely shut and thanking the two for sitting on the suitcase. Krystal gives Joo Eun a hug, "Have a good trip unnie. Surprise me something when you get back." She said with her sweet smile.

Joo Eun patting her head, "I'll surprise you good Krystal. Bye." She said carrying her suitcase, sleeping bag and backpack as she left with Jessica to the door. When they arrive at school, they saw all of the students waiting for their buses.

Once they got out, Jessica took the suitcase out along with the sleeping bag and the back. When Joo Eun got the three items, she gave her sister a hug, "See you next month, Unnie." She said and Jessica gave her first little sister a kiss on the cheek, "See you soon Joo Eun and be careful out there." She said as she walks back into the car and left.

As soon as Joo Eun walks to her classmates, she saw Ae Cha yawning while sitting down on her suitcase. Also, she's wearing her comfort clothes as well, "Morning Ae Cha, excited for the trip?" She asked placing her suitcase down and sat on her suitcase too.

"Morning Unnie Joo Eun and heck yeah I'm excited. We just need the busmen to hurry up because my is freezing here." Ae Cha exclaims and pretend to shiver making Joo Eun giggles. "I can't blame you when it comes to the weather issue here. The fall is here after all you know?" Joo Eun mentions the weather to Ae Cha while checking the weather again through her cell phone.

Ae Cha sigh, "Oh goodie."

Soon, the five tour buses arrived in order. From bus one to bus number five, each of them stops their engine and the drivers are out in line. Soon, Mr. Shin arrives with them wearing his simple shirt, jacket, pants and glasses with paper in his hand. "Good morning everyone, thanks for your patience. I’ll take attendance first than taking the bus in order with your sitting buddy." Mr. Shin stated and opens the attendance sheet.

After the students being called, the bus drivers took each of the suitcases and place them into the bus truck in organzation. The students are chatting about their excitement to the temple. Some other students are texting to their families and love ones that they’re about to leave shortly. Then, Mr. Shin calls group one to bus number one as the first group did. Good thing Joo Eun and Ae Cha are group two because their group are the quiet one.

As soon as the students are settled in their sits, the driver introduced themselves, the rules and finding the emergency exit. So, the buses are off to the five to six hour journey to the Sealed Temple.

When the sun rises, everyone was sleeping in the bus. Except Joo Eun since she just woke up from the sun that the light landed on her face. One way to kill the time is to take random pictures. So, she took some pictures of herself, the mountains, farm lands and lastly Ae Cha sleeping with open. Joo Eun couldn't help but to giggle at her best friend's sleepy habit.

Then the bus took their first stop after the two hour drive for food and to rest as the students got out to use the bathroom. Not to mention that Joo Eun and Ae Cha needed to use it just in case. After all of the wait, Joo Eun and Ae Cha are next to use the bathroom. After that, they took pictures of each other along with the other students and their teacher.

They couldn't help but to giggle because Mr. Shin's hair is messy from sleeping on the seat for a moment. "Oh come on you two, delete that please? It looks embarrassing." He said covering his head with the paper. The girls refuse and walks back to their bus as they're about to leave for their journey.

After another four hours, they have arrived at the Chiaksan National Park. Everyone was memorized by the beauty of the mountains. Endless trees around in every part. Joo Eun is awe by the view as she took more pictures on her digital camera. Soon, the forest rangers and guides are there waiting for the students to get off the bus.

When the students got out along with Joo Eun and Ae Cha, the forest rangers welcomes them to this amazing National Park. They explain to the students the rules, the punishment, and telling the story behind the mountain. Everyone asked the rangers and the guides the question. Soon, Ae Cha raised her hand, "Where is the Sealed Temple?"

The ranger chuckled, "The Sealed Temple is in the depth of the mountain in which you will see it later when you rest first." Ae Cha pouted and crosses her arms as Joo Eun giggles at Ae Cha's gesture and patting her back.

Mr. Shin went to the front of the students, "Not to worry, we'll be resting in the cabin right in the forest. I've assign you and your buddy in the cabin with the other classmates of yours. After you four acquainted with your classmates and unpacking your things, come to the forest center for lunch. Understood?" He said and the students nodded.

When the assigning roommates are done, the students walked into the forest and found their cabins. Joo Eun and Ae Cha is roommate with two girls name Ho Sook and Sun Hi. Joo Eun thought those girls look promising along with Ae Cha. Soon, they've reach their cabin made of wood and bamboo combine making it the most beautiful cabin designs ever.

"This is going to be interesting for the next thirty days." Joo Eun thought as she inhale and exhale the fresh air of the forest.
