Jung's Family Mansion, Jessica's Room, 9:45 A.M, Sunday, August 7th, 2011.

"You know what? I'm GOING to tell Yuri about Taeyeon. I think she deserves to know, since she's now a pretty close friend..." Jessica said thoughtfully as she watched Sunny packed her bags.

"What?! Have you lost your mind, Jessica Jung?! If Yuri knows about this, the school would find out about it, sooner or later, you know. Not only that, your fans from Supernova high would eventually find out about it! Are you trying to get Taeyeon killed?!" Sunny immediately stopped packing and started lecturing Jessica.

".... But I feel bad keeping stuff from Yuri! She's a newly acquired friend, and I don't have much 'close friends'! In fact, it's only you and Yuri!" Jessica whined.

"Oh my GOD, JESSICA JUNG! Just because she's your newly acquired friend, doesn't mean you have to tell her EVERYTHING! You still have a reputation to keep in school, mind you." Sunny said, obviously irritated.

"Fine, fine. You win, Bunny..." Jessica sighed in defeat.

"Of course I win! Don't forget, you have to always keep your reputation in check, darling."

"Yes, mam..."

Jung's Family Mansion, Jessica's Room, 11:45 A.M, Sunday, August 7th, 2011.

Time passed pretty slowly, after Sunny left the mansion. Jessica tried her best to persuade Sunny to stay till dinner, so she won't get so lonely and bored, but Sunny had an appointment to attend to, so she had to head home to get properly dressed. Jessica was bored out of her wits. She didn't know what to do. Usually she would be studying for the upcoming exams, but this time she just didn't have the mood to do so. She surfed the net, painted her nails, watched the television, Hell, she even tried to clean her room. But alas, nothing could keep her occupied for more than 30 minutes. 

Just when she was about to call Taeyeon and maybe Tiffany over to keep her company, her door bell rung.

*DING DONG*

"I wonder who would it be?" Jessica thought to herself, as she made her way downstairs.

Walter answered the door, and there stood a baby-faced girl, both hands holding onto what seems like a picnic basket. Behind her, was a cute pink bike.

"Ah, Ms. Kim. Please, do come in." Walter led Taeyeon towards the living room.

"Are you here for Ms. Jung?" 

Taeyeon gave a small smile and nodded.

"Of course, I'll go ge-"

"Taengoo!~ You're here!" 

Walter was interrupted by no one but the princess of the mansion, Jessica. 

Jessica rushed towards Taeyeon and gave her a warm hug, almost crushing the picnic basket that was in-between them.

Jessica pulled out of the hug, smiling in glee.

"Taengoo! I was about to call you! What brings you here?"

"Well, it's a beautiful day... so I thought of asking you to a picnic!" Taeyeon held up her basket to face level.

"Sure! Tell me the directions. I get my butler to drive us there!

"Erm, Sicachu... I was wondering if... you would mind riding a bike with me to the gardens instead..." Taeyeon said bashfully.

"Awww. Have I ever told you that you looked soooo cute when you blush? Yeah, sure! Why not? It would be so much more romantic! So, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Jessica grabbed the blushing Taeyeon's wrist and dragged her out of the house, only to be greeted by a single pink bike.

"Oh... You cheeky little girl. You wanted to cycle me there so I can back hug you as a support, right?!" Jessica teased the already blushing Taeyeon as she pinched her cheeks.

"N-N-No! It wasn't my intention! I couldn't ride 2 bikes so-"

"Oh, I was just teasing you, you little tomato!" Jessica teased.

After their silly antics, the blushing Taeyeon placed her picnic basket on the front of the bike, helped Jessica onto the bike, and rode off.

Jessica, being the one seated behind, took the opportunity to give Taeyeon a back hug, as she said before. She snuggled her head onto her back, as she took in Taeyeon's natural scent. 

"You smell so good..." Jessica mumbled, almost inaudible. 

Fortunately, Taeyeon heard what she said, and once again, blushed like a little girl.

Yoyogi Koen, 12:00 P.M, Sunday, August 7th, 2011.

The bicycle ride was very enjoyable for both Jessica and Taeyeon. Jessica almost fell asleep while back hugging Taeyeon, thanks to the breeze and the latter's scent. Taeyeon, on the other hand, was enjoying the embrace Jessica gave from behind. The butterflies that were already in her tummy started dancing when Jessica snuggled onto her back.

Unfortunately, the bicycle ride came to an end. Taeyeon helped Jessica off before getting off herself and resting the bike onto a tree. They laid out the picnic mat, along with the food Taeyeon brought. 2 pieces of chicken sandwiches, a bottle of fruit punch and two mini bentos. All handmade by Taeyeon herself.

"Woah! What a spread for a picnic! Did you make all these yourself?" Jessica eyes glowed.

"Y-Yeah... I hope you like it!" Taeyeon shuffled in her seat.

"Kim Taeyeon! Will you stop being so nervous? Am I that scary? I'm not going to eat you up, you know!" Jessica pouted cutely.

"I-I'm sorry! It's just that... never mind! Let's dig in!" Taeyeon took out a bento and pushed it towards the still pouting Jessica.

As the Jessica digged in, Taeyeon stared blankly into the bento.

"How am I going to tell her the truth..." She thought to herself.

Flashback

Kim Household, Taeyeon's Room, 10:00 P.M, Saturday, August 6th, 2011.

"Hello? Taeyeon? What's up?" Tiffany answered her cell.

"Hey Fany, I think I'm going to tell Jessica the truth about me..." Taeyeon said over the phone.

"The truth? Wait, you mean about 'that'?!" Tiffany replied, obviously astonished over Taeyeon's decision.

"Yea... I think she deserves to know. Besides, you've doubted her intentions, right? Her behaviour after learning about the truth would tell me whether she's a true friend or not." Taeyeon was determined.

"Well, I don't think it's a bad idea. You sure you're ready? You two are pretty close. Losing a friend like her would hurt."

"I know. It is because we're close, that's why I'm going to tell her the truth. It would be like...  a test. A test of our friendship."

"Yeah. I'm behind you. How are you going to break it to her, anyway?" Tiffany questioned.

"Well, I'll ask her out for a picnic tomorrow, and I'll break it to her after the meal. Even if goes to Hell, at least it would be easy for either of us to walk away. Of course, I'm hoping that would not be the conclusion."

"True that. Well, I wish you luck. Do let her know about me, too. Good luck, TaeTae! I'll be rooting for you behind the scenes!"

"Thanks, Fany!"

Yoyogi Koen, 12:30 P.M, Sunday, August 7th, 2011.

"Ah! That was delicious! I didn't know you were such a great cook, Taengoo!" Jessica cleaned with a tissue, as how a princess would do, after a meal.

"Thanks, Sicachu! Actually, there's a reason why I invited you out for a picnic today..."

"Hmm? And the reason is...?" Jessica asked curiously.

Taeyeon took a deep breath, and closed her eyes.

"... I'm... gay. Yes. you've heard it right. I'm not into hot hunks. I'm into gorgeous girls. I wanted to tell you this because I genuinely treasure our friendship. I didn't want to keep it from you. I've been bullied and insulted when I told my previous friends. They called it a sin, and stayed away from me. So far the only girl that has truly accepted me for who I am is Tiffany. I hope you would be the next one. But if you find me disgus-"

Taeyeon paused. She felt something soft, like a pair of lips, crushing onto hers. She opened her eyes, only to see the closed eyes of Jessica. She realised what was happening. Jessica kissed her. She really kissed her. Not only did she not walk away from her, she kissed her. Taeyeon took in Jessica's scent, and melted into the kiss.

After a few seconds, Jessica pulled out for air. Face slightly flustered but gorgeous nevertheless.

"Did that shut you up now?" Jessica giggled a little.

The overwhelmed Taeyeon simply nodded, as she gasped for air.

"You idiot. Seriously, you were so nervous the whole day because of this? C'mon, Taengoo. You honestly thought that I would walk away from you just because you were gay? You thought that lowly of me? Don't you know what school I'm from?" Jessica giggled.

"Gala- oh. Galaxy High. The all-girls highschool infamous for its biual and gay students..." 

"Wait. Does that mean you're-" Taeyeon came to a realisation.

"Yes. I'm gay too. I, alike you, are not into hunks, but into ladies." Jessica winked.

Tears started forming on the side of Taeyeon's eyes, and she burst into tears on the spot like a kid.

"H-Huh?! Taengoo? Why are you crying?!" The startled Jessica questioned.

"I... I'm just so happy that... you accepted me! I was... so afraid that... you would walk away from me!" Taeyeon said in between sobs.

"Oh, you little kid! Come here, you!" Jessica pulled Taeyeon into an embrace, drawing circles onto her back.

Taeyeon wailed into Jessica's chest, just like when a child did not get the toy she wanted. Slowly, but eventually, Taeyeon calmed down, and she slowly succumed into the land of dreams. 

"I love you, Sicachu..." Taeyeon mumbled as she fell asleep.

Jessica's eyes grew wide, but returned to normal as she though Taeyeon meant it in a more friendly way.

"I love you too, Taengoo..." Jessica said, slightly heart broken, as she patted the child to sleep.

Little did she know, that the 3 precious words that came out of the child's mouth, was the truth.
