8 months. They've been living together without getting married.

They're relationship was "okay"

As usual, Luhan and Sehun would fight over simple things.

Luhan bought Sehun a ring for their 'anniversary' and Sehun loved it.

He threw his arms around Luhan "I love it, Deer."

"I love you more."

And they kissed. A lingering kiss that would give them chills.

Sehun would always wear that ring.

ALWAYS.

He never removes it.

When he was washing the dishes one morning, the ring accidentaly slipped out of his finger and fell into the sink.

He told Luhan what happened and got mad.

"Next time you gotta take care of the things important to you because the next thing you know, it might not be there anymore." he said.

Sehun became a successful artist.

People would buy his artworks for a high price and feature it in an exhibit.

Despite of them always busy with their jobs, they never forget to spend time with each other and go on dates.

But Luhan became very busy and would always come home exhausted.

Until one night.

"The company is sending me to China."

"The company is -- what?"

Luhan sighed. "I'm going to China." He repeated.

"How long will you be there?"

"More or less, 5 months."

"That's long....." Sehun muttered. "I don't want to lose you for that long."

Luhan took Sehun's hand into his "You won't lose me. Don't worry, we'll still contact each other."

Sehun's eyes were filled with depression. He wasn't satisfied.

"Hey," Luhan said softly "Forever, right?"

Sehun gave a little smile "I love you."

3 days passed and everything was set.

"Sure you'll be fine alone in the apartment?" Luhan asked "I called Chanyeol, he said you can stay with him and Baekhyun while i'm away."

"I'll be fine, Lu." Sehun replied. "Besides, I'll be very busy with my paintings. I have 3 exhibits this week, I think it's best if i stay alone."

"Alright, good luck and be careful okay."

"I will."

They kissed right on the spot like it was their last.

"I'll miss you, my deer."

"I'll miss you too."

"Good bye, Lu. I love you."

"I love you too, Sehunnie."
