"Hey Sehunnie, sorry I won't be coming home tonight." says Luhan over the phone.

Sehun, trying not to sound upset "Oh okay. Don't stres yourself too much, okay? Get some rest when you have time."

"I will."

"Take care, Lulu."

"You too. I'll see you in the morning."

"Okay, good night."

"I love you, Sehun."

"I love you too."

Luhan hangs up and let's out a deep sigh. He takes the photo of him and Sehun from his desk ans stares at it for a moment.

All Sehun wanted was a wedding. To make a vow on the altar with Luhan. To say those words "Til' death do us part."

Yet Luhan is not yet ready to give that to Sehun.

The next day, Luhan arrives home from work.

6:23 am.

He finds Sehun on their bed, deep in sleep. He crawls up on his side and puts his arms around Sehun's waist.

"I'm home now." He whispers softly.

Sehun groans as a reply.

"Sorry i'm late..."

"It doesn't matter, you're here now." Sehun says.

They have breakfast together. Pancakes and bubble teas. Their favorite.

They sat across each other.

"It's my graduation today." Sehun says in excitement.

Luhan cracks a big smile.

"Really? I'm so proud of you."

"Thanks. It's at 7pm tonight. You're coming, right?"

Thinking of the loads of work he has to do, Luhan tries to keep a smile on his face.

"Sure." He said, not knowing where the word came from.

"You promise?"

"Yeah. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

Sehun leans over and kisses Luhan on the cheek.

"I know you wouldn't"

Luhan drives Sehun to school.

"Take care at work today. I'll see you tonight."

Luhan tries to smile knowing that it is impossible for him to attend Sehun's graduation.

He puts his head on the steering wheel, closes his eyes and let's out a deep sigh.

Luhan was tired.

Very tired.

He checks his watch. 7:02 pm.

The ceremony was starting, and there he was, sitting in front of his desktop, stuck with a bunch of things to do.

The graduation started at exactly 7:00.

EXO members were present to witness their maknae graduate. Everyone was there. Except for Luhan.

Sehun kept on scanning the crowd every now and then, looking for Luhan.

He knew that Luhan wouldn't break his promise.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." he remembered Luhan saying those words.

"Maybe he's just late." Sehun thought.

He held on to those words. He believed that Luhan was coming.

8:42 pm.

The ceremony ended.

No one was there to congratulate him but his EXO hyungs.

His heart was shattered.

His boyfriend didn't come.

Luhan didn't stick to his promise.
