Chapter 2.

It was a sunny day. Shinhwa had not much schedule besides recording documentary and practice their dance step. However, the presence of the documentary team makes us, the cody crew, restless. We could not relax because there is this objective of producing the picture perfect Shinhwa flowing in our blood.

“My skin is really flawless. There is no need for foundation.” Minwoo ran his fingers on the surface of his skin, and jokingly disagree to get his makeup done.

I folded my arms while gripping Estee Lauder foundation in my fingers firmly. He sensed his childishness was not being appreciated. He reluctantly seated in front of the mirror as he pouted.

“Minwoo ya, did you see my ring?” Hyesung rushed to Minwoo worriedly.

“Nope…” He shook his head, “That one you showed to me earlier?”

“Yea…” He searched the floor meticulously.

“Yah, that’s so expensive and you lost it?! Find it!” Minwoo ordered.

However, Hyesung did not found his ring. After the basic makeup was done, Shinhwa members moved into the dance practice room. And the videographers rolled their cameras, as the filming started.

During the filming session, I did not pay much attention. Of course, the members were talking out loud and entertained almost the whole of the crew, but I was too busy thinking of my job future, my phone bills, my family who I did not contact for longed… And suddenly, the filming session was stopped to have a break.

The manager called to have noodles delivery, while the Shinhwa members were hanging around in another room. Junjin and Minwoo were practically discussing their dance moves even though it’s a break. At the same time, Andy and Hyesung were having a match playing annibang on their phone. Eric was sitting on the sofa with his Iphone in his hand. Dongwan, who was tired, planned to nap while pillowed on Eric’s laps.

“Ah… Eric, please do not put sharp object in your pocket. I thought I was almost murdered.” Dongwan said with one hand holding his left ear, which had turned red.

“Ah, sorry, sorry.” He apologized; however, did not intend to get the sharp object away from his pocket.

“Strange…” Dongwan glared at Eric.

“What??” Eric asked.

Dongwan decided to shove his hands into Eric’s pocket and check it out. Curiosity kills a cat. To his surprise, he found a ring, which looked familiar to him.

“Hyesung ah… is this yours…?”

Hyesung rushed towards Dongwan and grabbed over the ring. With an angry frown, he stared at Eric.

“Why??!” He grabbed the collar of the president. “Why are you always in my way? I was supposed to give her the ring yesterday!!”

“Calm down!” Minwoo hates it when Ricsyung gone wrong.

“Why is this in your pocket??!” Hyesung was too angry that he was strangling Eric.

Eric was pulling Hyesung’s hand away from his neck.

“Sorry…”

Hyesung could only grab his collar more, as he heard the apology.

Junjin asked out of curiosity, “Hyung, why you do that??”

“Hyesung ah, listen… That girl is not the one…”

Hyesung’s veins were almost surfaced.

“Then which girl is the one??! Why are you always getting in my way?? It’s my choice who I want to be with!!! You son of a b****!”

A punch lay on Eric’s cheek.

It must be painful. Eric could not speak for a few seconds, until he caught up his breath, and said, “There’s no other way to stop you, I know. But I still want to try… I have no evidence to say how bad that girl is… but I just got this feeling she is not the one.”

Just as another punch was about to whack on his face, he interrupted, “Hyesung ah, listen to me this once, can’t you? Marriage is not a joke…”

“Do I look like I’m joking with you right now???!”

I swore I never see Hyesung’s eyes turned so huge.

Eric took a deep breath, “Just remember, I spare nothing to see you get hurt. You are important to me.”

Hyesung cursed, “Crazy…”

However, he let go of his fist and went to the washroom, in which Junjin later followed. Eric, who fell into the sofa, was spacing out, while Dongwan was anxiously checking out his cheek, which turned rather red thereafter.

It was when I was with another fellow makeup artist retouching the makeup of the members. We both ended up caught in the situation, where we can’t do anything but to stare and fossilized.
