AUTHOR's POV       "O-oppa..." Naeun called, looking tiredly at her boyfriend, her energy completely drained. Taemin stared back at her with sad eyes, his lovely girlfriend was going to leave him for good in less than a week, his lovely girlfriend was going to leave the spot next to him...he couldn't accept it, he just couldn't! How could such a young girl die so soon? How?   "O-oppa...I need to talk to you.." Naeun said, placing her hand on his as he took a seat next to her bed. Weakly smiling, he nodded, signaling her to go on.    "Lee Taemin, let's break up" She breathed out, her voice barely a whisper. Taemin's eyes widened "what?!" He asked, utterly shocked. Had he heard right? Nono, he surely had misheard.    "Let's break up" The girl stated, this time with a much clearer tone.    "W-what are you saying Naeun-ah? Are you out of your mind? W-why? Did I do something wrong?" Taemin questioned, his eyes desperately searching for hers.    "Oppa...You know that I love you, and that's why I'm doing this. You have to move on, you have to understand that I'm not the one for you. Oppa...please...promise me you'll find another girl without feeling guilty, no matter who she is..." She pleaded with teary eyes gripping onto both of his hands.  He stared at Naeun, the idea of moving on and leaving her behind disgusted him. He loved Naeun, there was now way he would have replaced her, there was no way he would have given the spot Naeun had in his heart in that moment to another person, it was just something he couldn't even think about.    "No." He refused stubbornly.    "Op--"   "No Naeun, no. You know how much I love you! Do you think someone will be able to be as important as you are? That's never gonna happen Naeun! I'm not gonna replace you!" The girl sighed, she had perfectly predicted that reaction from him but he would have soon understood; he HAD to understand.   "Oppa...please..this is my last wish...you have to be happy without me and you have to learn to love someone who isn't going to be me. Please, I'm pleading you...Let's end it here...it is better if we cut it off now than later..." Taemin closed his eyes, trying to keep in his tears, he knew that Naeun was doing it only for his best but it hurt and it must have hurt a lot for her too. However the fact that she wasn't showing it, hurt him even more, just how much was she going to suffer alone?    "A-arasso...just let me stay next to you till the end...as a...f-friend..." He choked letting a single tear run down his cheek. Naeun weakly smiled, wiping it away, and tenderly kissed his soft lips, leaving her vanilla scent lingering on them. Our last kiss..She thought regretfully biting her lower lip. I'll miss you so much Oppa   "Oppa, promise me one more thing..." She started, the boy's eyes instantly landing on her. "Take care of Yunhee unni for me...make sure she moves into my apartment and...take care of yourself too..." Naeun finished with a sigh, her eyes slowly starting to feel heavy. That was probably the worst thing of her illness, always feeling tired and drained out of energy.    "I'll promise I'll take care of her...now go ahead and sleep, I'll be here watching over you." Hearing those words, she allowed her eyes to close and drifted off to dreamland.        --------       Kai snapped his head behind him when he heard the door clicking.    "Where the hell were you, hyung!!! I was worried to death you know?!?" He scolded as soon as he saw his friend standing on the door steps.    "Yeah, he's right where did you go?!?! How could you leave without telling us anything? We were already imagining the worst! The others went searching for you--"   "That's enough Chanyeol, don't be so harsh. He left only to buy himself food, beside he's alright as you can see and it's not that he could tell us if we weren't here..." Suho reasoned when he noted that his friend was holding onto a bag of food. The younger one immediately closed his mouth as he knew that Suho was right.    "Here, let me help you--"   "I am capable of doing it myself Suho hyung. I know you're worried, but I have to get used to it and earn back my independence." The boy refused, snatching back the bag and heading towards the desk at the corner of the room. The three boys stared at him, their eyes softening; after all they had been next to him during every step of his cancer, never forgetting how he used to be before everything started. He was the mood maker of the group and that had never changed, not even during his long stay at the hospital, but it had been painful to watch their energetic friend becoming weak and fragile. When they were informed of the fact that he had been finally cured, they had been left completely speechless, no words could describe how much happiness and joy they had felt in that moment, it had been all so overwhelming and unbelievable that everyone had teared up, despite trying to hide it.    "Jongin-ah call the others and inform them that Baekhyun has come back." Suho instructed earning a nod from the latter, who immediately fished out his phone, not without glancing worriedly at a stumbling Baekhyun.  When he finished talking at the device in his hand, he focused his attention back to his other friends and soon found them staring at him, especially the one who was now sitting comfortably on the bed.    "What is it?" He asked confused while putting back his phone in his pocket.    "You told me you've found her...but you didn't answer me at the phone. How is she?" Baekhyun questioned, his eyes sparkling and his lips slightly creeping up in a grin. Kai gulped uncomfortably, what could he tell him? After years of searching he had found her covered in bruises and cuts, her behavior colder than ice and sharper than a knife, so how could he ruin his friend's happiness by informing him about her complicated life he himself hadn't even found more informations about? He sighed, what was the use of lying when his friends perfectly knew if he told the truth or not anyways? Baekhyun would have soon found out in a way or in another and it was better telling him first than shock him later.    "What's wrong Jongin-ah? Is she...not doing well?" Baekhyun choked, suddenly feeling guilty. He remembered the little girl calling for him desperately, but all he had done was looking at her with a sad expression while walking away, leaving her behind crying and shouting his name. How many times had he thought of running back to her? And how many times hadn't he been strong enough to do that? He had hoped so many times to meet her once again coincidentally by the streets, but it never happened and once gained enough courage and once grown up enough, he had started his search, hoping she would have been alright.    "H-hyung....she...I don't think she is doing that well..." Kai trailed off not really knowing how to explain it. But how could he when he himself didn't even know what was happening to her? All he knew was that she showed up at school with new bruises everyday and that rumors said she fought daily, the reason why she was injured everywhere
