“ Hello , Eric . Did you miss me ? “

Eric swallowed. His heart was pounding and his breath caught in his throat as his hand reached forwards to Hyesung.

Hyesung closed his eyes when Eric’s fingertips touch his skin

“ Hyesung ? “ Eric breathed

Hyesung nodded and Eric was crying again. Hyesung opened his arms and pulled Eric onto his bed with him. The senior agent’s tears soaked the material of his hospital gown but Hyesung didn’t care.

Eric buried his face in Hyesung’s neck , so happy that Hyesung finally woke up from his comatose state . That day after Hyesung stop breathing the doctor manage to revive him again but unfortunately he was slip into coma and the doctor himself not sure when he would wake up again .

Since that day Eric fell into despair and drown in his own guilty . That’s why he locked himself in his room because every time he look at Hyesung’s face it will remind him of his mistake and regret.

But now Hyesung is woke up and look more alive than before . And he thanked God for that . That he still can heard the firm , strong heartbeat in Hyesung’s chest , still can feel his warm breath against him.

“ Shh .. Eric I’m here .. uljima , “ Hyesung murmured . Eric’s muffled sobs echoed in the room .

Jihoon who secretly open the door and take a look at them , smile bitterly and feel jealous but he was happy . Happy for Hyesung . Happy for them. He look at them once again before he slowly close the door and left.

“ Hyesung .. I’m sorry .. I’m so sorry , I .. hurt ..you , “ Eric couldn’t get a coherent sentence out . He was too overwhelmed with emotion. Hyesung himself feel like crying right now , he kissed the top of Eric’s head . Hoping to soothe him.

“ I’m sorry too , Eric .. “

“ Dongwan punched you ? “ Hyesung asked in disbelief , but he let out a small chuckled later , “ you deserve that , “ he said

“ Why ? “ Eric raised his head from the apple that he peeled

“ Because you really deserve that , I expect you will be here when I woke up but I just found Jihoon wait for me by himself , “ Hyesung turn his head toward the window , “ I was disappointed to not have you by my the time I open my eyes , “ He turn his head again to look at surprised Eric

No one said something and just stare into each other until Eric  broke  the eye contact between them ,  he put the knife and the apples he peeled on the bedside table before he get up from the plastic chair beside Hyesung’s bed .

Hyesung eyes following Eric movement , until he stop in front of the window .

“ Because I’m a coward Hyesung , “ Eric’s voice were low , “ I was afraid .. afraid that I will hurt you again , “

“ Eric , “

“ Don’t you remember that you said that I’m better to disappear from your life ? “

“ I remember of course , but .. “

“ That’s why , “ Eric doesn’t give Hyesung a chance to continue , “ That’s why I avoid you , even though I really want to be here but I can’t .. “

“ When I was kidnapped what can I think is all about you Eric , “ Hyesung said honestly make Eric to look at him , “ I’m not gonna lying about this , but I realized that I miss you when I locked in that dungeon , “

Hyesung blinked the tears that fill up his eyes before he continue , “ I was angry and disappointed the minute I found out that your affection toward me is just for the secret mission your director give to you , but “ Hyesung stop to wipe the tears that fell on his cheek , “ but even I told myself to hate you a thousand time , my heart always want you and when I thought that I will die , there is a regret that I will die without telling you that I’m sorry for not give you a chance to explain everything , “

“ Regret that I will die without hearing you say that you love me  , “

Eric stare at Hyesung for a second before he step toward Hyesung’s and hugged him , carefully not hurt the currently recovery man. Eric hugged Hyesung tight but gently . He feel Hyesung caressed his back softly .

“ Make me believe you again , Eric .. make me believe in you .. “

Jihoon just stare at the now cold coffee in front of him . After he left Hyesung with Eric he came into the small coffee shop near the hospital . He hope the caffeine can help him to clear his mind but he never the touch
