The Next Day

Cafeteria

Luhan, Seohyun, Taeyeon and Baekhyun went to the cafeteria together as usual for lunch.

“Luhan ah, the thing that you wanted to tell me last night. You just cut it off like that. What’s about Kyungsoo? Do you know him?” Seohyun asked.

“Kyungsoo?” Baekhyun asked.

“Isn’t that the name of the guitarist in your band? He is really popular among the girls. Last night everyone was screaming for him when the two of you had a duet.” Taeyeon asked.

“Are you dating him? “ baekhyun asked.

“Yah! Can you just not jump into conclusion?” Seohyun yelled.

“But why are you asking Luhan about him?” Baekhyun asked.

“Well, he was telling me about him, but then he just cut it off like that.” She answered.

Three of them stared at Luhan, waiting for his explaination.

“Well, we’re just….”

Just then, a bunch of guys sat next to the table beside them.

“Yah, Kyungsoo ah, isn’t that your cousin?” Kai pointed at Luhan and smiled.

Luhan smiled as well.

“Oh, Seohyun ah, annyong! You are there too!” Kai smiled.

Those guys were also the members of the band club, so Seohyun knew all of them.

She smiled.

“Yah, why aren’t you greeting your cousin?” Kai hit Kyungsoo’s shoulder.

“Hey….” Kyungsoo smiled.

Luhan smiled as well.

Seohyun and her two friends looked at both of them.

“Cousins?” They said unionly.

“They are cousins?” Seohyun asked Kai. He nodded.

“You didn’t know about that?” Chanyeol asked.

Seohyun nodded.

“Oh well, now you know. They are cousins. Daebak, right? How can this two cousins so handsome?” Chanyeol laughed.

Seohyun laughed too, but more like a forceful laugh.

Seohyun and her friends finished lunch earlier than Kyungsoo, so they left the cafeteria earlier.

“Yah! You didn’t tell me that both of you are cousins.” Seohyun hit Luhan’s arm slightly.

“Well, now you know.” He said, annoyingly.

“But still, you should’ve told me earlier.”

“Why? So that you can get more closer by getting information about him from me?”

“Yah! What are you talking about?!” Seohyun yelled.

“Well, that’s how I view it. You seemed to be liking him, though.” Luhan bickered.

“Are you jealous?”

“Jealous? Me? Are you kidding me now?” Luhan laughed it off and walked away.

I would’ve been happy if you said you were, she thought.

After class finished for the day, Seohyun went back to the dorm to rest for a while. She went to the track to jog for a while in the evening.

She was jogging alone, listening to her mp3.

Just then, she felt someone was jogging beside her.

She turned to the left and saw Kyungsoo beside her.

“Kyungsoo ah.” She said, unplugging  her earphone.

“You were so into jogging that you didn’t even realize I’m beside you.”

“How long were you beside me?”

“Hmm… Around 1 minute, I guess?”

“Oh then I should plug in my earphone and acted like I didn’t notice you for a few minutes more then.” She laughed.

“Why are you jogging alone?” Seohyun asked.

“Why are you jogging alone then?” He asked.

Seohyun laughed.

“I prefer jogging alone. I can focus more.” Seohyun replied.

“Oh really? Well, I should leave you alone then.” Kyungsoo run forward.

“Kyungsoo ah! Let’s jog together!” She yelled as she catch up to him.

Kyungsoo laughed.

After they finished jogging, they rested at a bench.

“Do you always jog alone?” Kyungsoo asked.

“Actually, it’s my first day today.” She smiled.

“How about a date with me every evening?” Kyungsoo smiled.

“What?” Her eyes widened.

Kyungsoo laughed, “I mean jogging.”

“Oh right. Yes, okay.” She blushed.

“Then it’s 5.30pm everyday.” He smiled.

She nodded.

“Oh but hey, you and Luhan are cousins, right? But why do I feel like the two of you are awkward?” She asked.

“I don’t think we are.”

“Well, it looked like that to me. Luhan knew that I’m in a band with you, but he refused to tell your real identity to me until just now.”

“Really? Well then, he must’ve reminded of something else then.”

“What do you mean?”

“Maybe he’s preventing something from happening.” He smiled.

At the moment, Luhan was on his way to the cafeteria for dinner with Baekhyun.

They walked pass the running track field.

“Oh isn’t that Seohyun? Who’s that beside her?” Baekhyun pointed.

“What? Where?”

“There.” Baekhyun pointed at a girl sitting on a bench with a boy beside her.

Baekhyun and Luhan walked a little closer to them, so that they can confirm who is the person.

“Yah, it really is her. Isn’t that your cousin? What is she doing with your cousin? Are they dating?” Baekhyun bombed him with questions.

“Yah! Do you think I can answer all your questions?” Luhan yelled.

“It’s your cousin!”

“So what? It doesn’t mean that I have to know everything what he does. Who cares if they date.”

“Andwae! Seohyun is for you! I like it better when you’re with her.” Baekhyun said honestly.

“Yah! She doesn’t even like me.” Luhan said.

“Hey, I know a bit about girls. The way she acts around you proves that she likes you. She’s just waiting for the timing to tell you though.” Baekhyun smiled.

Luhan smirked.

“It seemed to me that you like her too. Oh well, it seemed like your cousin likes her too. Better make a move soon, or you’ll regret it.”
