Chapter 6

Heartbreaker

Yoseob kept staring at the message on his cell phone.
His mind was racing, was it a joke? Or worse, was he dreaming? Why would Kikwang want to meet up with him?
Did he want to meet him alone or not? All kind of questions came into his mind.

He was a little confused. He kicked his blanket away with his foot.
It seemed like it was really hot in the room, or maybe it was just him? Yoseob felt a little lightheaded, he was really nervous.

He slowly and quietly got out of bed with his cell phone clamped tightly in his hand.

He held in his breath, hoping Hyunseung and Dongwoon wouldn’t wake up.
They would never let him go, at least not alone.

Yoseob quietly opened his suitcase and sighed. What the hell was he supposed to put on? He chose a striped t-shirt and some shorts.

He quickly got dressed and stepped in his sneakers. He opened the door and took one last glance at his peaceful sleeping friends before silently closing it after himself.

He took a very deep breath. ‘Okay Yoseob, you’re going to meet Kikwang and you’re going to behave, you have to play it cool.’ He thought to himself.

He let out a heavy sigh and leaned against the door. He quickly replied to Kikwang’s text, he couldn’t keep him waiting.

He asked him where to meet. Immediately he got one back

Meet me on the bridge, and come alone <3
Kikwang replied.

Yoseob frowned. A bridge, bridge? Ah yes, he remembered.
The inn where they were staying had a large garden with a big pond and a bridge.

Yoseob smiled to himself, meeting on a bridge was always romantic.

He took a deep breath once again. This was it, he was going to meet him.

He put his cell phone in his pocket and quietly walked through the hallway, in the direction of the exit.

The first thing that came to his mind was: ‘Damn.’ It was rather cold outside.
The cool night air welcomed Yoseob and a soft breeze of chilly wind made goose bumps appear onto Yoseob’s bare arms and legs.

Yoseob rubbed his arms trying to warm up, it didn’t work much.
Too bad there was no time to get a sweater from his room, he had to hurry.

Maybe Kikwang go too cold and already went to bed. Yoseob shook off the thought. ‘No Kikwang wouldn’t do that.’ He thought to himself.
He walked into the garden, going straight to the bridge.

From a distance, he could already see Kikwang standing.
He would recognize that body shape everywhere.

His heart was beating so fast that it hurt. When he got closer he saw him clearly.
The moonlight seemed to shine precisely on Kikwang, like a spotlight.

Of course, he was wearing a sweater.
He looked absolutely stunning, Yoseob felt like he was to going to faint anytime, but luckily he didn’t.

He walked to the middle of the bridge being welcomed by a bright smile. “Hey, here I am.” Yoseob said breaking the silence off the peaceful night.

Kikwang took his hand and placed a light kiss on top of it. “I’m glad you are.” He said sweetly.

Yoseob blushed slightly at the contact off Kikwang’s plump delicious lips. “So am I.” He said trying to sound calm.

But inside, it was a hurricane. His heart was pounding harshly against his ribs and the few butterflies he had before, multiplied a hundred times.

Kikwang noticed Yoseob’s half- bare legs and arms. He softly caressed his arm.

“Yoseob, your freezing. Let me take you inside.” He said in a worried tone.

“No it’s okay, really.” Yoseob said reassuringly.

Kikwang smiled sweetly. “Then at least let me give you my sweater.” He said before taking it off.
Underneath he was wearing a tank top that made his muscles look absolutely gorgeous.

Kikwang gently draped his sweater onto Yoseob’s shoulders.

The wind didn’t bother him anymore. “But won’t you be cold now?” Yoseob asked worried.

“No, I’m okay. I wouldn’t want to be responsible if you’d catch a cold.” He said sweetly.

Yoseob smiled. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” Kikwang replied.
He took Yoseob’s hand and took him with him.

“Come on, let’s go sit somewhere.” He said.

Yoseob blushed at the touch, he loved the feeling of his hand into Kikwang’s own.
He wasn’t cold anymore.

They walked off the bridge in the direction off a bench.

Kikwang sat down and gestured Yoseob to sit down next to him.
Yoseob sat down, making sure to leave a little room between them.

Kikwang loved the way he was so shy, for a while he forgot about his plan, he was just enjoying his ‘date’ with Yoseob.

He put his strong well built arm around his waist and pulled him closer.

So close, he could hear Yoseob’s heartbeat. He couldn’t help but smile about how loud his heart was beating, just for him.

He startled Yoseob by pulling him gently onto his lap.

“So, that’s better.” Kikwang said happy.

Yoseob didn’t know what to say.
He just sat awkwardly onto his lap.

Kikwang softly caressed his leg.

Yoseob stiffened for a second before relaxing to his touch.

“Yoseob, I know we don’t know each other that long, but I like you.” Kikwang said suddenly.

Yoseob studied Kikwang’s beautiful features. Did he just say he liked him? He couldn’t help but think about the first time he saw Kikwang.

At first sight, he thought a boy like Kikwang would never notice him, and now there he was, sitting onto his lap in the middle of the night, and now he said he liked him.

He felt like he was dreaming.

“I like you too.” Yoseob admitted.

Kikwang smiled to himself, he had already figured that out.
He slowly moved his hand a little upwards until it was resting onto Yoseob’s thigh.

Yoseob felt slightly uncomfortable. But he didn’t dare to say anything about it.

Kikwang decided to play nice, for now. He didn’t want to care him off so he just kept his hand still.
He found out that Yoseob’s skin was very soft and he felt warm too.

Yoseob was enjoying the touch of Kikwang’s hand, he was happy he didn’t try anything else on their ‘first date’. He loved being in Kikwang’s presence. He felt safe and most important, Kikwang made him feel special.

Kikwang was having a good time too, he was happy Yoseob liked him, but he wanted Yoseob to love him.

Only one step had to be taken for that, according to Kikwang.
A step that would make Yoseob fall completely for him.

A kiss.

Kikwang softly his hair, he thought it was cute Yoseob rested his head onto his shoulder.

He softly put his arm around Yoseob’s waist once again and moved him a little in the direction he wanted, so that their faces were close to each other.

Kikwang looked him deep in the eyes, gently cupped his face and leaned forward while closing his beautiful eyes. Then Kikwang’s lips found their way onto Yoseob’s.

Yoseob felt his lips getting numb, then his body. He was afraid his heart would break out off his chest, landing onto Kikwang, he thought he would faint, felt like he would die or melt into a puddle of water.

But all of that wasn’t real, it didn’t matter.

That moment, he and Kikwang were real, it felt to Yoseob as it was meant to be.

The kiss was soft, yet deep. Yoseob had only one word to describe it: magical.

He knew he would love Kikwang forever, he felt it in their kiss, they way his heart was beating.

This was real.

Kikwang deepened the kiss while gently moving his hands underneath Yoseob’s shirt.
Damn that boy was soft.

He would love to meet up again the next night, maybe, just maybe something more would happen.

Finally, after what seemed an eternity, they softly broke apart, both panting slightly.

Yoseob couldn’t hide his smile of pure happiness and without Kikwang realizing it, he felt a sting of guilt flashing through his body.

He was going to break this boy’s heart, this boy that owned a smile that could outshine the sun.
Could he?
He wasn’t exactly sure anymore. He didn’t understand how Yoseob could have this effect on him, he had to ignore his feelings like he always did.

Cause there was much more fun in breaking someone’s heart instead of getting your own heart broken, according to Kikwang.

“You’re so cute.” He said to Yoseob, pulling him into his arms.

Yoseob was happy, he loved to cuddle. “And your beautiful.” Yoseob replied.

Kikwang smiled. “So are you.”
Yoseob smiled back.

After a while, they decided it was time to go to bed, before anyone woke up.

They went inside, walking to their bedrooms. They stopped before Yoseob’s bedroom.

“So, I’ll guess I’ll see you tomorrow.” Yoseob said.

Kikwang was wondered about the hint of sadness in his voice, did Yoseob really care that much about him?

“I’ll miss you and I’ll definitely see you tomorrow.” Kikwang replied placing a little peck onto his lips, before winking and leaving the hallway, to his own room.

Yoseob smiled, he was just perfect.

He quietly entered the room, realizing he was still wearing Kikwang’s sweater. It felt just as safe as in Kikwang’s arms.
He silently stepped out of his sneakers, but was suddenly startled by Hyunseung’s angry voice.

“Where the hell have you been?”
