The answer didn't turn out to be the one I was expecting.  Of course, every girl confession wouldn't be expecting the word back "I like you too."

Wishes are just wishes after all.  It's not as if it's gonna come true or anything.  That's what I thought.

"I am sorry." he said.  The night sky shone upon the beautiful twinkling stars and full, waxed moon.  It's rare to see them from this view.  Rare.

That's life.  Rare to experience.  Humans are lucky.  They've given life from God.  Earn it, enjoy it...  I gulped at the thoughts.

Rare.

Rare.

For me, death is common.  Living is rare.

I took in his words to the heart as I closed my eyes, breathing in the nighttime breeze through my body.  Yes.  

No matter what his answer is.  It is time for me to leave.

"Could it be that you have someone that you like?" I asked.  Kai-sunbae nodded.  I knew it.

"Yes.  One-sided love for fifteen years already.  I am planning to confess to her after," he answered.  I smiled.  

"Sunbae!" I said and patted him on the back.  Kai-sunbae looked at me.  He can see right through me.  He knew I was hurt.

"Hannah...  I-" I shook my head at his words.

"It's okay! I got to hear your answer.  Now go on and catch your girl! I'm sure she'll be thrilled to hear your confession! Hurry!" I said as I pushed him towards the road where it will all end.  

Kai-sunbae smiled in thanks.  "There will be plenty more of chances to come! Let's hang out again yeah? When you find your true love!" he said and left.

I waved smiling.  Smiling.  Watching him leave.  I could've said "Don't go" or "It's never gonna happen".  But, it's done and finished.

My last breath in this world.

But I still have thirty minutes left.  So I decided to write my last and final diary entry.
