"I wish something exciting will happen today" 

Amu took a deep breath before glancing at her clock for the nth time. She was hoping to meet some of her friends at the mall as it was her only day off from the massive stress she's been dealing with at school lately. 

Classes, school council meetings, after school classes, study groups, more classes, Saturday classes and exams (and did I mention classes? XD) seems to be her life these days. However, the poor girl just found herself in the middle of the food court alone, after her 'traitor friends' *cough*Rio*cough* cancelled at the last minute.

"I guess I should just go home and study" she whispered to herself before standing up to go her way towards the nearest exit of the food court. Yet, before she could even take a step, a familiar figure of a man came across her peripherals... "Arioka-kun?" 

There at that moment, Amu saw Arioka Daiki, the guy she has a crush on for God knows how many years. Daiki had been her inspiration for these past few years not only because of his jaw-dropping looks but also his hard working and friendly personality. 

Amu hasn't been talking to him much but the sight of him is enough to pull a smile across her face every time she feels helpless. 

The girl eyed Daiki's figure roaming around the mall like a hopeless child looking for his mum. Somehow, he looked so lost. You could actually see worry on his face. This signalled Amu to at least see how the boy is doing. 

"Arioka-kun? Konnichiwa" She said to try and catch Daiki's attention. To her luck, Daiki heard her soft voice and faced the latter with a sudden relieved face... "Are you okay? You seem lost" Amu asked in worry after seeing the older boy's facial expression change from being 'lost' to suddenly being 'saved'.

"Amu-chan!!! Yokatta!!" Daiki sighed in relief and gave Amu a big hug. It was as if his 'knight and shining armour' (yes! Girl version of it) appeared just to rescue him. With widened eyes, Amu felt Daiki's arms enveloping her tightly. She can smell his intoxicating perfume which was enough to make a tint of crimson touch her cheek.

"I dropped my wallet somewhere and I can't seem to find it" He started to explain his situation... "I've been searching for almost an hour and now I'm soooooo hungry and no money to go home!! There's not much in my wallet but nothing was left on me!!"
