“Good day Amu-chan… I wish you were here. Me and the others are talking about you guys. We miss you. – Daiki” Amu gave off a faint smile as soon as Daiki’s message appeared on her mobile screen. It’s only been a week since her holiday in Japan ended but now, she already wants to go back.

A month worth stay is indeed not enough. She can still dream about Daiki’s smiling face not so far from her when he confessed at the airport, but this vision slowly fades away every time she wakes back up to reality – back to New York.  Amu is indeed oceans away from her boyfriend.

After completely accepting actuality, she forced herself up on her school desk to continue more of her chores as the student council president. She sighed continuously as the sight of piles of paper appeared before her.

“I miss Dai-chan…” she whispered into the air while sulking in front of her desk - almost ready to strangle anyone that will give her more work to do. She then looked at the ticking clock near the door and was just thankful enough that it’s nearly time for her to go home.

Meanwhile, on the other end of our story…

“Do I look okay?” Daiki questioned as he frantically fixed herself in front of the mirror. He looked at his friends who are basically busy sightseeing outside the window of the hotel they rented in.

“Woaaaahh! I never thought this place is this awesome!!” Yuto excitedly jumped around the room while the other pulled out their camera, ready to raid the city.

“Guys!! We went here for a reason! I thought you’re gonna help me?” Daiki protested while pulling Yamada’s attention… “Is my tie okay?” he asked while the latter just sighed and fixed his precious tie, hanging loosely on his neck.

“Relax, will you?” the younger boy replied, but still left Daiki restless. He was about to whack Yamada when he suddenly felt a little cute dog cuddling around his left feet as if begging for affection. By this, Daiki just smiled and patted the dog… “I’m sure she’ll like you ne?” he whispered to the little puppy while having one particular girl in mind.
