Personal Stalker
Hey! Say! Jump Drabble Collection
"I'm sooooo sorry, Sayu-chan! I can't walk home with you tonight. I still have to finish a project", Amu, clapped her hands once and bowed at her friend, "I should just call you a cab home. That stalker might still be hanging around!", she tried to whisper but it was a little bit too loud because it was obvious that Ryosuke, Yuto and Chinen heard what she had to say. Sayuri tried to cover Amu's mouth before finishing her sentence but it was obviously too late.
"Stalker? What stalker?", Ryosuke asked, curious.
"It's nothing. Maybe I was just imagining things", Sayuri excused, hoping that her friends will just drop the subject.
"If you're worried about walking home alone, then maybe one of us should walk with you", Chinen suggested. All pairs of eyes then landed on the tallest boy, who hasn't spoken since they got out of class. "Ah, maybe Yuto-kun can walk you home ne?", Chinen teased, knowing well the boy's massive crush on Sayuri.
"I-Uhm...", Yuto struggled to reply. He wanted to say 'Yes' but he didn't want to look too eager.
It took a few seconds of awkward silence when finally, Ryosuke volunteered, "I can send you home, Sayuri-chan", he smiled that somehow melted Sayuri's heart in the process. See, like any other girl, Sayuri always had a soft spot for Ryosuke. Maybe not in a romantic way, but the boy somehow has some sort of special powers to make girls swoon over him.
It wasn't long when the two waved their good byes to Amu, Chinen and Yuto.

"I'm doomed!", Yuto whispered to himself but enough for his friends to hear.
"Huh?", Amu and Chinen said in perfect sync.
"Great! Yama-chan will walk her home and she's gonna fall for him!"
Amu cluelessly titled her head, "What do you mean? He's just walking her home".
"You took soooo long to agree so Yama-chan volunteered for you. You wasted an opportunity!", Chinen explained, knowing well that the boy has feelings for Sayuri, "But that doesn't mean she'll fall for him so don't worry".
"Do you even know Yama-chan? He can seduce anyone in a heart beat!", he worriedly said, pacing up and down while his mind played cruel tricks on him.
"Yuto-kun, if you're that worried, why don't you just follow th--?", Amu started but soon saw Yuto's fleeing figure. His long, fast legs allowed him to sprint towards the exit of the building in seconds.

"You really didn't need to walk me home, Yama-chan. It's been awhile since I felt like someone's following me. He must've given up on me by now", Sayuri kept up with Ryosuke's pace as the boy offered to carry her bag.
"I really just want Yuto to get all worked up. I wanted to make him jealous"
"I don't think Yuto is the jealous type. I learnt that the hard way", Sayuri sighed, referring to hers and Yuto's 'uncertain' relationship they
