Daiki is not having the best day. In fact, it might be the worst day of his life. Ever since Amu was assigned to be JUMP’s main stylist, he’s been dreading the idea of her being asked to assist other artists apart from his close group of friends. He did not imagine this day to come this soon when Amu was hired as a contractor for Amuse Inc – home of many popular celebrities in Japan.

His nerves didn’t seem to settle after being informed that Amu’s main client is none other than Sakurada Dori.

“I’m sorry, Dai-chan. I really can’t make it today. I still have a lot to do before Sakurada-san's shoot tomorrow”, the more he tried to remember Amu’s words, the more annoyed he became. It’s not like him to be bothered from stuff like this, no. In fact, he’s happy that his girlfriend is getting more recognised by other companies because of her talents. It was the idea of a very attractive human being getting close to his girlfriend that bothers him. Not only that, he had seen some of his dramas and was shocked on how mature Dori is despite being born in the same year.

“Don’t tell me you’re still bothered by Dori?”, Daiki felt a light tap on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Ryosuke grinning as if he enjoying every bit of Daiki’s torture, “Why don’t you just tell Amu-chan?”, he suggested but the older one’s pout grew.

“I’ll sound like a selfish jerk if I did that”, he replied. He tried to shake this thought off but is miserably failing , “I mean, look at this text!”, he grunted loudly and showed Ryosuke his mobile screen.

The younger boy couldn’t help but laugh and instantly understood why Daiki is acting so insecure.

The texts read: “I love you too, Dai-chan. I’m just having coffee with Dori-kun to talk about the shoot tomorrow. It was too noisy in the studio, so he suggested to to go to this cute café around the corner. The matcha latte in here is awesome!”

“Now they’re having dates! What’s next?!”, the poor boy left off a defeated sigh before turning to Ryosuke who was already formulating a plan inside his head.

“We don’t have any schedule this afternoon… why don’t we spy on Amu-chan?”, he playfully suggested. He was only half joking at the time but when it comes to Amu, Daiki is in no mood to joke around.

After only a few minutes of contemplation, Daiki grabbed Ryosuke towards his car and drove off to spy on his girlfriend.

“I like how you trust Amu so much”, Ryosuke sarcastically commented while Daiki stomped on the gas pedal of his car.

“Shush! Wait until Rio-chan drops by. I’m going to lock her and Yuto in a room just to make you suffer”

With Daiki’s speed on the freeway, it was not surprising that they arrived only after 15 minutes.

Looking for Amu was not difficult because they found a very chic looking café just around the corner from Amuse Inc. jimusho. With the dedication to find his girlfriend, he immediately found success as soon as they entered the said café. The two chose a table not so far away from Dori and Amu, leaving a few meters to keep themselves unrecognised. Besides, it is so unlike Daiki to spy on anyone… but after seeing her with another handsome fellow, half of him was glad that he did.

“Since the theme is Coffee and Vanilla, maybe we can go with this colour scheme”, Amu pointed at one of the images in her portfolio and presented it to the man sitting across the table. She innocently leaned across the table for him to have a good view of the image in her folder.

“I would go with anything you think will look good. I trust you, Amu-chan. You’re very talented”, Dori smiled, and Amu somehow found herself blushing at his compliment. On the other hand, Dori also found it cute on how the girl awkwardly turned her head to the side as if embarrassed. This was when his peripheral caught a glimpse of a familiar lady entering the café.
