No one's POV: 

Thump 

"You're turn" Joonmyun muttered as he turned over in the bed and Yixing groaned. Sitting up in bed and looking at the time, it was six in the morning... what the heck made that noise? Finally getting out of bed and making it to the hall, he first went downstairs to check if anyone had broken in or something had magically blown up in the kitchen. When he couldn't find anything in there, he checked the bathroom to see if anything fell down in there, when that proved negative... well there could really only be one place left. 

"Shui" Yixing whispered as he tiptoed into the room and paused when he saw a lump on the floor, fifty per cent blanket and fifty per cent confused four year old 
"What are you doing down there?" Yixing asked
"I fell out" his daughter replied with a hint of confusion on her face as Yixing smiled and lifted her up 
"You hurt anywhere?" he asked as Shui paused before shaking her head
"I don't think so" she muttered and Yixing placed her back onto her bed and quickly checked her over before nodding to show that she was alright. 

"How did you end up on the floor?" he asked and Shui paused to think 
"Well I remember appa telling me that we had to be up early today because we were going to a really big party... I got up and my blanket got tangled around me as I fell!" she finally explained and pouted when Yixing laughed at her 
"Yes it's true about the party, but it's six in the morning" he said 
"But my clock says it's nine" Shui replied, pointing to the object and when Yixing went to look, sighed
"That's because it's broke" he replied as he picked it up to have a look 
"Well it was working when I went to bed last night" Shui said and Yixing smiled.

"But you still need to go to sleep, it's still to early to be getting ready just yet"  he said 
"Can I come sleep with you and appa then?" Shui asked and Yixing paused before sighing
"Come on then, but we have to be quiet. Appa is the only one sleeping" he said and the two of them made their way back to Joonmyun. Once they were back in the room, Yixing lifted Shui up and placed her in the bed next to a sleeping Joonmyun and laid down next to her so she was sandwhiched in and wouldn't fall out again.
"Did Shui fall out of bed again?" Joonmyun asked sleepily
"Yes I did" Shui muttered and Joonmyun smiled as he turned over.

"And why are you up so early this morning anyway?" he asked
"I got excited about the party and I thought it was nine... but my clock is broken" Shui replied with a pout and Joonmyun laughed at her before the alarm on his and Yixing's clock went of 
"That's my cue to get up" Yixing said whilst Shui and Joonmyun whined
"Does baba have to go to work?" Shui asked 
"Yes baba does have to go to work so he can heal very sick people" Yixing replied 
"But you'll be back for the party wont you?" Shui asked
"Of course and I planned it weeks in advance so another doctor takes over before I leave" Yixing replied and jumped out of bed. 

"Now I really need to get going or I'll be late" he added as he quickly kissed Shui on the forehead, kissed Joonmyun on the lips and ran out of the room to quickly jump in the shower. So how did Joonmyun and Yixing end up adopting in the first place? Well as you all know they married whilst they were still in university. After they had finished (well Joonmyun really, Yixing had to stay on a bit longer to become the doctor he is today) Joonmyun had decided to enter the army straight away and as early as possible, get it over and done with so then he and Yixing could carry on from where they left of. Whilst he was away, Yixing was miserable. For the first few days he was with the others sulking whenever he watched them get all lovey dovey with each other. He didn't have to wait long for others to start sulking with him as the next one to go was Jongin and soon after him the other Korean's were entering the army one at a time. 

Anyway back to the story at hand. As you know Joonmyun is eventually discharged from the army (they wouldn't keep him in that long anway) and went back to SM High. Not as the head thought oh no that, surprisingly that went to Jongin when he got out (The Age of Kim as it was oficially chirstened by Kris) but as a Literature teacher, yep, it happened. They said they wouldn't go back and yet there they were taking over and causing, not so much, chaos at the school. Around that time Yixing was finally working and the two finally had enough money to buy the house they had wanted so much. When they finished moving in and settled down, they didn't know what it was, but their house felt empty. Like something was missing. That was when Joonmyun suggested that they adopt a kid... it wasn't easy... they would get rejected here and there and people would look down on them because they were two men trying to adopt... it just wasn't normal. 

Eventually the two were finally put onto the adoption register and were told that when they did get to adopt they would get a boy or a girl and have to live with it... harsh yes... The two of them however didn't care, they would love the child no matter what. The only thing they agreed on was that if the child was a girl then Yixing would name her and if the child was a boy Joonmyun would name him. And you guys can probably guess what happened next right?

"We're not late are we?" Joonmyun asked as he and Yixing got out of the car and Joonmyun went to help Shui out 
"I don't think so, if we are then we are" Yixing replied
"Yeah but you know what Kyungsoo's like" Joonmyun said and Yixing sighed 
"And I'm sure there will be people later than us" he replied as they walked up to the house and rang the doorbell. A few seconds later and the three of them jumped a little when they heard something ram into the door from the other side, silence and then screaming as Jongin opened the door carrying a crying boy in his arms 
"Come in" he said before sighing and walking into the living room. 

"What happened?"  Kyungsoo called from the kitchen 
"Kai ran into the door" Jongin replied
"Again?" Kyungsoo asked and walked into the living room 
"The others are in the garden" he said turning to Joonmyun and Yixing before turning to his son who was still crying and now holding his arms out for his appa. Meanwhile out in the back, everyone apart from Sehun and Luhan were already there and conversing amongst themselves 
"Where is TaoTao?" Shui asked as she looked around and Joonmyun pointed him out 
"Over there, why?" he asked
"He owes me" Shui muttered and walked away whilst Yixing and Joonmyun stared at each for a second before shrugging their shoulders.

"Joonie!! Xing Xing!!" Chanyeol shouted as he ran over and pulled the two into a tight hug 
"Why are you acting like this? We only saw each other a few days ago" Joonmyun asked and Baekhyun came running over
"Because we went to the scan today" he said excitedly as the other twos ears perked up. Baekhyun and Chanyeol at this present time were just waiting for their baby to be born, the mother of the baby and the person who picked them out to adopt her baby once it was born had asked them to come to her five month scan so they could themselves the of their baby
"And?" Yixing asked
"We're having a boy" Baekhyun squealed delightedly, jumping around a little before showing them the scan photo. 

"Have you started deciding on names yet?" Joonmyun asked
"Oh please we've had lists sorted since the beginning for both boys and girls" Chanyeol replied
"Wow... Shui went by the name of 'Jellybean' for almost a month before I came up with a name for her" Yixing muttered
"Yeah well we're better prepared" Baekhyun replied happily and Joonmyun rolled his eyes
"And you're both just as childish as you were at school" he said and he and Yixing walked away laughing whilst Baekhyun and Chanyeol stood in their spot pouting and sulking.

"I do not owe you anything" Tao said whilst Shui pouted at him
"Yes you do" she replied
"Do not"
"Yes you do"
"I do not!"
"How long have they been going on like this now?" Xiumin asked
"About five minutes" Chen replied and Kris sighed
"Come get me when Tao has stopped arguing with a four year old" he muttered and walked away whilst Chen and Xiumin kept their eyes glued to the argument in front of them. 

"Look I don't know what you're talking about so just go back to your daddies or go play with Kai" Tao said as he turned around and Shui frowned
"Kai is to young to play with" she said and when Xiumin looked over, he saw Kai running before he fell over, expecting him to cry. Instead? He got back up looked around for Kris and started running towards him shouting
"DRAGON". Back to the argument at hand, Shui was trying to get Tao's attention but he just was not paying attention to her and this was starting to annoy her 
"TaoTao" she said and pouted when he didn't turn around and answer her 
"TaoTao" she tried again and still he ignored her. 

"Fine I'll just go tell Kris what you did to h-" she began but Tao turned around and stopped her 
"Alright, alright" he muttered 
"So you admit you owe me?" Shui asked 
"Y-yes... it shall be with you in the next few days" Tao replied and Shui smiled 
"Okay" she said happily and walked away whilst Tao stood there blushing 
"They've stopped fighting" Chen called over to Kris
"Kind of busy right now" Kris replied and when they looked over, saw Jongin trying to pry Kai of Kris' leg.

"Food's ready" Kyungsoo called as he, Yixing and Baekhyun walked out with plates of food in hand and everyone came running over
"Where's Shui?" Yixing asked and the two of them looked around before finding Shui sat on the grass with a pout on her face 
"I'll go talk to her" Joonmyun said and walked over, sitting in front of his daughter
"Why the pout?" he asked
"I was thinking about what Joohyun said at the park today" Shui replied
"And what was that?"
"She said to me that people find it weird that I have a baba and appa instead of an umma and that when I'm older I'll probably be bullied in school because my family isn't like most families out here" Shui explained and Joonmyun sighed. 

"Well do you know what I think?" he began as Shui shook her head 
"I think you shouldn't really care what other people will think in the future. Me and your baba love you very much and I'm sure that you love us just as much (cue Shui nodding her head quickly). As long as the three of us love each other you shouldn't have to care what others think. If they should pick on you about it, you can just tell them you have ten other uncles as well as us who could come give them a talking to" he finished and Shui smiled 
"So that means TaoTao can use his wushu on them?" she asked
"I wouldn't go that far" Joonmyun replied as Yixing walked over 
"Food's getting cold" he said and Joonmyun and Shui stood up and made their way back to the others.

"Sehun and Luhan still aren't here yet?" Kris asked as he looked around and on cue there was crying as Luhan and Sehun walked into the garden with Sehun carrying a crying baby in his arms
"She wont stop crying" he whined and the others sighed. Before we continue, the girl that Sehun is holding is NOT their daughter. The girl is Sehun's neice and said guy and Luhan offered to take her out for the day... the only problem was that she had just begun teething and even though she couldn't help the crying, it was driving the Oh couple NUTS! 

"What did you do to her?" Tao asked
"We didn't do nothing she's just begun teething" Luhan replied and Kyungsoo sighed 
"Give her to me" he said and Sehun quickly passed her over, no hesitations 
"Do you have any gel?" Yixing asked as he stood up 
"Since when were you an expert in teething?" Chen asked
"Since Shui was exactly like this when she started teething" Yixing replied and Luhan handed him the gel and Kyungsoo walked around with the baby to try and calm her down.

"Still want a baby brother or sister now?" Joonmyun asked Shui who was staring at the baby with wide eyes
"Not if they cry like that all the time" she replied, causing her appa to laugh 
"Our baby is going to be like that when he starts teething isn't he?" Chanyeol asked and Baekhyun rolled his eyes and lightly hit him on the chest 
"It all comes with being a parent" he replied 
"Well then I deffinitely don't want kids" Sehun muttered whilst Luhan glared at him.

"Come on missy bed time" Yixing said but Shui shook her head 
"I want to hear a story first" she replied and Yixing sighed
"Then will you go to bed?" he asked and Shui nodded her head. For a moment Yixing stood there thinking of a story he could tell Shui, that was when an idea popped into his head and he ran out the room to grab something. When he walked back into the living room, he walked back in with a photo album in hand and sat next to a frowning Shui. 

"Let me tell you a story about twelve friends. These friends who have completly different personalities and backgrounds and yet managed to become the best of friends. At the start of this story we have a new boy, a 'bad' boy and many other with their own unique personalities" he began and opened the album. When Shui looked at the first photo, her eyes widened
"That's you, appa and uncles" she said and Yixing smiled
"Yep, that's us when we were all in school" he replied
"You all looked cute then" Shui said 
"We're still cute now!" Yixing replied. 

"Wait, is this story going to be to long?" Shui asked and Yixing paused
"We'll start it tonight and with Appa's help we'll continue it tomorrow night" Yixing replied and Shui nodded
"Think of this as to how me and appa met" Yixing added and the two of them looked at the photo one more time before Yixing began his story... wording it in a way suitable for a four year old of course!
