No one's POV: 

"About time you three, where the heck have you been?" Jongin asked and Chanyeol waved the comment of 
"Long story" was his reply and Jongin shook his head
"Whatever, the others are in there already" he said and the three made their way in with Jongin following them 
"Where have you three been?" Joonmyun asked 
"They say it's a long story" Jongin replied and and Joonmyun sighed 
"Well all you missed was Tao collapsing but that's not such a big deal for you three" he said 
"We're sorry" all three of them replied and Joonmyun glared at them for a moment longer before nodding. 

"Is he alright?" Baekhyun asked 
"He's still out for a minute" Kyungsoo replied 
"Were you lot there when he collapsed?" Sehun asked 
"No, Joonmyun and Jongin were the first ones down and then word spread and the rest of us found out" Luhan replied 
"So everyone else knows he collapsed?" Chanyeol asked 
"Well everyone knew the police were here so they were curious to find out who they were here to see" Kyungsoo replied 
"And thought at first it was me" Jongin muttered. 

"Jinki and the others are making sure nothing is said against Tao and making sure nobody finds out about Kris" Yixing added 
"Right, it's getting to crowded in here so I'm only limiting to one person now" the nurse said as she walked in 
"I'll stay" Chanyeol said straight away and everyone turned to face him slowly 
"Are you sure?" Joonmyun asked and Chanyeol nodded whilst the others continued to look at him 
"What?" he asked and the others shrugged their shoulders.

"And you're sure he didn't go to his dad?" one of the men asked and Tao sighed 
"I told you and everyone else, he and his dad do not get along so he wouldn't go anywhere near his house" he replied 
"And you don't know if he has anywhere else to go?" another man asked 
"No, the rest of his family live in either Canada or China and he didn't take his passport with him" Tao replied and the two men paused before taking down notes. Meanwhile, Tao was finding these questions pointless, everything he was telling them he had told SooMan and everyone who came to visit him already... all he wanted to do was go back out with the others to search for Kris himself instead of waiting for the police himself. That was when the two men got up. 

"Right that will be all for today" one of them began and Tao nodded before frowning when he saw the look on their faces 
"What's wrong?" he asked them and they both sighed 
"We have no leads to go on to find Kris. Every lead we get leads to nothing. So what we're trying to tell you is that we're giving it until tomorrow to try and find him" one replied
"And what if you don't?" Tao asked, standing up 
"We stop looking for him, pronounced him as missing and possibly dead" the other finished and Tao froze. 

They found him 

But there were complications 

This couldn't be happening... what he dreamt last night was only a dream he didn't want it to come true! The complication he dreamt about... surely Kris wasn't dead and that he was alive somewhere well just to afraid to come back... right? 
"Zitao... Zitao are you alright?" one of the men asked but Tao couldn't answer him as he felt his legs go and darknes. That was when the door to the office opened and Joonmyun and Jongin walked in 
"Do you have any staplers we can bo... what happened?" Jongin asked when he saw Tao on the floor and Joonmyun ran towards him...

When Tao began to wake up, he saw a figure sitting next to his bed and hoped it was Kris who had heard the news and rushed to his side... instead the person by his bed was Chanyeol 
"What are you doing here?" Tao asked sleepily and Chanyeol pouted
"Hello to you to" he replied and Tao slowly sat up
"What happened?" he asked and Chanyeol paused 
"You kind of collapsed" he replied and Tao frowned 
"Why did I do that... did I see blood again?" he asked and Chanyeol smiled. 

"No don't worry, you didn't faint because of blood" he said and Tao nodded 
"Well then why did I collapse?" he asked and Chanyeol paused
"I'll tell you later" he said and Tao frowned at him, but nodded nevertheless
"You know I was expecting Joonmyun or Kyungsoo to wait until I woke up, not you" he said 
"Well that's because I need to hand you something" Chanyeol replied 
"Really?" Tao asked and Chanyeol nodded before handing him a key and a peice of paper with an adress on it.  

"What's this for?" Tao asked and Chanyeol sighed 
"I haven't been totally honest with you" he replied and Tao frowned
"What do you mean?" he asked
"Whilst you and the others have been out looking for Kris... I've been visiting him... he's been hiding out at my grandparents house whilst they've been away" Chanyeol replied
"W-why have you kept this from me?" Tao asked
"Because Kris told me to. He's scared to come back Tao. He's scared that if he does he'll just shout at you and hit you again. I've tried talking to him to see that he makes sense... but then I realised it was going to have to be you who will go get him" Chanyeol replied. 

"Y-you mean he's waiting for me?" Tao asked
"I haven't told him about this" Chanyeol replied
"Well when do I go get him?"

.....

"Ok Tao now to check up on your..." the nurse began but paused when she saw that Tao wasn't there 
"Tao" she called as she looked around
"Tao" she called again and the others walked in 
"What's going on?" Kyungsoo asked when he saw the look on the nurse's face
"Tao is gone" she replied and whilst the others ran about helping her, Chanyeol stood there with a smirk on his face and walked back to his room...

'I can do this' Tao thought as he stood in front of the house, key in hand 
"I can't do it" he said out loud before turning around to walk away before pausing and remembering what Chanyeol said, he was the one to go get Kris... so why was he walking away now?  

As he slowly entered the house, he was sure to tiptoe and shut the door quietly behind him so Kris wouldn't hear him, walking through the house, you could tell someone had been living there; dishes, dirty and clean, were near the sink or in the cupboard, there was rubbish lying here and there and the smell of the spray that Tao like so much was hanging around in the air. As he walked into the living room, he was expecting to see Kris there watching the television, but he wasn't. When Tao checked the kitchen Kris wasn't there either, nor was he in the bathroom, bedroom or garden... come to think of it... it looked like nobody lived here anymore... 

'He's gone?' Tao thought as he looked around the house, defeated. Kris was meant to be here... Chanyeol said so himself... so why wasn't he? Did he figure out Tao was coming and fled in a panic? Did he not want to be found? Either way, Tao had to return to the school empty handed... Walking down the street, Tao kept his head low and let the tears fall from his eyes. So this was it, Kris didn't want to be found and tomorrow they were going to stop looking for him and he would be walking around as a dead man. As soon as Tao got back to his room, he slammed the door shut and locked it so the others couldn't walk in on him until he was ready to come out, leaning against it and catching his breath before turning around. As he turned around, he froze when he saw what was in front of him. He wasn't really expecting it after all and couldn't move. 

For in front of him, Kris stood there with an equal look of confusion, fear and shock written on his face...
