No one's POV: 

When Tao woke up, he felt happier than usual. And why shouldn't he? Today was his birthday and all he wanted was to cuddle in bed for a while with his boyfriend and let the others run to him... to bad that when he turned over to hug Kris he wasn't there and instead Tao saw a note waiting for him instead 

Good morning birthday boy!

You're probably moody because I'm not there now right?
How bad am I? My boyfriend wanting to lie in but I'm not there to cuddle with him :( 
That's because I have surprise for you! :D 

First of though, you need a shower!

"That boy" Tao muttered as he slowly climbed out of bed and did what the note said; have a shower. Once out of the shower, he started drying himself when he saw another note pinned to the mirror... just how many notes were there? 

Nice? 

Now we're going to play a game!
All you need to do is follow the notes... got it?

First of, you need to go to Kyungsoo and Jongin's room... 

'What the?' Tao thought but either way got dressed and walked down to Kyungsoo's room, pausing before knocking on it. When Jongin answered the door, he paused before smiling 
"Kyungsoo he's here" he called and a few seconds later, Kyungsoo walked to the door holding a container
"Happy birthday" he said happily as he handed Tao the container
"What's in here?" he asked
"Your cake" Kyungsoo replied as he removed the lid

"Took me ages to make as well" he added as the lid was put back on and Tao found a note above it

Took me AGES to convince Kyungsoo to make this!!

Anyway, now you need to go to SooMan's office!

"For goodness sake" Tao muttered as he started walking around the school. So far he had managed to grab a birthday cake from Kyungsoo and a bunch of cards and presents that SooMan had in his office from Tao's family back in China. Now Kris was sending him on a wild goose chase to find presents! Some birthday this was turning out for Tao so far!
"You alright?" Joonmyun asked
"No Kris is sending me on a wild goose chase" Tao replied as Joonmyun laughed
"Well give me the container and cards and I'll meet you again later" Joonmyun replied as Tao happily handed them over and began looking around.

Walking around, Tao frowned when he saw the places that most of the presents were hidden; some were hidden in classrooms where Tao had to sneak in and hope teachers didn't catch him. Kris the freak had hidden one at the entrace of the girls toilet (like seriously) and another was actually in Tao's locker which he happened have found by coinciedence... and none the less shocked him when he saw that it was in a Gucci bag.

I was contemplating between this and a pair of shoes I knew you liked. 
In the end I settled for this because the bag you use now... yeah it has to go 

Plus, you've found the last of your presents :D :D 

Now you can make your way to the feild by the tree we usually hang out under. 

Tao frowned for a second before he reached into the bag and pulled out what Kris was mentioning
"WOW" he shouted when he saw what was in there

"He's going to want a reward now" Tao muttered as he rolled his eyes and then made his way out to the feild where Kris told him to go.. not realising that he had spent almost half the day following the notes and that it was now evening time 
"What are you doing here?" Tao asked when he saw Joonmyun walking towards him 
"Helping Kris out with last minute stuff" Joonmyun replied and Tao frowned 
"What do you mean?" he asked
"You'll see soon enough" Joonmyun replied smiling and walked back indoors whilst Tao continued walking forward. 

As he got nearer the tree, Tao found fairy lights lighting up a path for him before he looked up and gaped at the sight in front of him 

Whilst gawking at the sight in front of him, Kris had slowly snuck up behind him and wrapped his arms around Tao to bring him close 
"Like it?" he whispered and Tao nodded 
"Love it" he whispered back and Kris smiled before leading Tao over...

So, little story behind the choosing of the bag. I actually had to show my mum a picture of Tao and ask her which bag out of three would suit him. My mum decided on the bag :L 

The cake? OMG I WANT IT FOR MY BIRTHDAY IT'S SO COOL!!
