No one's POV: 

"You know you shouldn't have really pulled me out like that" Xiumin muttered and Henry sighed 
"And you don't really need Chen's permission to go out and talk to a friend in private, do you?" he asked and Xiumin rolled his eyes whilst Henry continued to drag him down the hall. After a while, Henry had dragged Xiumin out onto the feild, the only people there were the athletes training for the upcoming athletics competition with a few girls squealing over them nearby, apart from that it was just the two of them as they sat on a space. 

"Right, what was it you needed to talk to me about that you dragged me all the way out here?" Xiumin asked
"You never told me you were having an operation" Henry replied and Xiumin paused 
"Oh..." 
"Yeah I know that I haven't been around and everything to actually find out but you could have at least told me" 
"Wait, how did you find out?" Xiumin asked and Henry waved the comment away 
"That doesn't matter right now. What matters is that you're having an operation in a few days. So, is it serious? How long are you staying there? If you don't have it will you die?" he asked and Xiumin paused to let the questions sink in 
"Ok; number one now the operation's not serious, number two I'm staying in overnight and I'll be in the next day and number three no I will not die how stupid are you?" he replied and both of them paused before they began laughing. 

"Some things never change" Henry muttered and Xiumin nodded
"They don't" he replied and the two sat there in an awkward silence before Henry spoke up again 
"So Chen... do you really love him?" he asked and Xiumin nodded
"I do" he replied
"For how long?" Henry asked
"I've always liked him. Since we were teenagers I had feelings for him but I thought he would never return them because he was my best friend, then I started dating you and thought that the feelings would go away... that went down the drain didn't it?" he began and Henry blushed at the last comment. 

"When Chen started dating Yxing... not going to lie... it broke me a little. When everything went up with Joonmyun and Yixing he became scared, almost to scared to do anything. Jongin was out to get him and the school had him and that was when I realised my feelings were still there and I don't know... I just had a great sense to protect him and never let him go" he finished and Henry sat there nodding
"And now he's the one taking care of you because you're ill" he added and Xiumin nodded
"Although he still hurts himself time to time" he added and Henry smiled 
"Typical Chen" he said and Xiumin nodded
"No longer is he the playboy he use to be"... 

*flashback* 

"For goodness sake Chen" Xiumin said and said boy sat there frowning
"What?" he asked and Xiumin rubbed his temples
"That's the fifth person this month" he said and Chen rolled his eyes
"What are you my mother now?" he asked
"Sometimes I feel like I am" 
"Look it's not my fault I dumped him. He didn't feel right and wasn't that much of a great kisser anyway" 
"You've said that about the last two boys as well" Xiumin said before sighing and ran a hand through his hair. 

"One of these days you're going to break up with someone and it will backfire on you. I wont be there to help you" he added and before Chen could say anything, Henry and Yixing had entered the room and sat with them
"Morning all" Henry said and leant over to kiss Xiumin's cheek whilst Chen glared at him before standing up 
"I'll be back in a bit" he said through gritted teeth and walked out before anyone else said something
"What's wrong with him?" Henry asked and the other two shrugged their shoulders...

*end of flashback* 

"Do you still call him by that nickname of his?" Henry asked
"Which one? He had many" Xiumin replied and Henry thought for a second
"ChenChen" he replied and Xiumin burst out laughing 
"Oh gosh I haven't called him that in ages" he replied and Henry began laughing to 
"What time is it?" he asked when they stopped laughing 
"11:00am" Xiumin replied and Henry nodded
"Best be of, I have a date" he said and Xiumin frowned. 

"Really?" he asked and Henry nodded
"Thought I would get back into the dating scene before I leave" he replied and Xiumin smiled before Henry sighed 
"Can I have a quick hug, for old times?" he asked and before Xiumin could say anything, Henry had already pulled him in for one. For a moment he sat there shocked before smiling and slowly hugging him back before they broke the hug 
"Come on I'll walk you back to your room" Henry said and the two of them stood up before making their way back inside.

"So when are you going back to Canada?" Xiumin asked 
"In a few days time" Henry replied sighing
"When's your operation?" he asked 
"On my birthday" Xiumin replied moodily and Henry's eyes widened 
"Really?" he asked 
"Yeah" Xiumin replied 
"Ouch" and with that the two continued to make their way down the hall. 

"Excuse me" a voice said behind them and when they turned around saw a girl who must have been a first year standing there
"Can you two help me I am completely lost" she said and Xiumin smiled
"First day?" he asked and the girl nodded
"Follow us then we'll show you around" he said and led the girl around the school whilst Henry followed him.

'THAT JERK' Chen screamed in his mind as he paced up and down the room, the two were making their way back inside... why were taking so long?!?

Yeah, we thought we would add this chapter in so people could see why Henry hugged Xiumin, what they spoke about and why they took so long to get back to the dorm... 

Next chapter will be back to normal and continuing with the flow of the story
