No one's POV:

The summer had quickly worn away and soon the guys were back at school as the kingka's... yeah... a group of boys who are just as mature as everyone else in the school (yeah right) were in charge of it. Of course though they didn't spend the WHOLE summer worrying about it, oh no, Joonmyun had to go tell his parents he was now engaged and the others... they wanted to celebrate it! And by celebrate... Jongin had managed to convince SooMan to allow him and the others to have a pool party... then of course the others got to excited on the actual day... Chanyeol may have slipped... and twisted his ankle... 

At first the others, and Chanyeol himself, thought it was hilarious because of the way he rolled along the floor (like a bufallo). That was until Chanyeol realised that he couldn't put pressure on his ankle and the others saw it was pretty swolllen, then they all groaned at the fact that they had to go back to the hospital and become the regular visitors... they were actually pretty surprised when a patient and a doctor remembered who they were! That had managed to take their minds away from the task coming up; running the school...

"I can see why Taemin said this was such a hard job" Jongin muttered as he joined the others outside at break 
"Why?" Kyungsoo asked 
"So far I've had to sort out three fights and take a first year to the nurse because they fainted at the site of blood... on a paper cut" Jongin replied sighing 
"Almost as bad as you" Chen said turning to Tao who, in return, hit him across the hard 
"You guys know I don't like blood" he said with a pout on his lips 
"And yet you do wushu?" Xiumin asked but quickly looked away when Tao glared at him.

"It's the first day back and we're stressed already" Baekhyun said as the others sighed 
"The minute Taemin or anyone else from SHINee steps into this school... they can take over for the day we're taking a break" Jongin said 
"Agreed" everyone shouted at the same time as they sighed 
"Let's just be glad we don't have to stop a water fight that the others had to stop last year" Sehun said 
"And it turned out not to be water but something much... much worse" Kris added to which Chanyeol shuddered
"And I got a load of it in my hair" he muttered as everyone paused before laughing at him. 

"Do you reckon we'll still be as close as this in ten years time?"  Baekhyun asked
"Well seeing as we've gone through a LOT already and we're not even twenty yet... I think we still have we'll still be the idiots we are now by the time we're twenty seven" Luhan replied 
"Chanyeol especially" Yixing replied 
"Hey!" 
"What jobs do you reckon we'll have?" Joonmyun asked and everyone paused to think. Up to that point they hadn't really thought about what they wanted to do in the future... now that they were thinking about careers... it looked as if they were really growing up. 

"Well I can see Kyungsoo being a chef for sure" Xiumin replied
"Either that or a housewife for Jongin" Chen added and the others laughed 
"For some reason I see Xiumin or Yixing being doctors" Tao added and Yixing smiled to himself
"I think we'll be wanting to get the army over and done with first" Baekhyun muttered and the Korean's of the group all sighed
"Don't remind us" Sehun muttered
"Back to the conversation beforehand, I think either Joonmyun or Jongin will come back here and run the school" Chanyeol said and Joonmyun and Jongin turned to him to give him a 'Really?' look. 

"The age of Kim" Kris added
"Well then the poor souls won't know what hit them" Jongin replied and Joonmyun nodded in agreement 
"The age of disaster" Joonmyun added and Jongin nodded whilst the others rolled their eyes 
"How about this; this time in... twelve years, we'll all be twenty-eight or twenty-nine by then, we'll all meet and someones house and have a massive party. Until that party we'll keep in touch with each other and have anual holidays together or catch up parties" Yixing said 
"At the party Kyungsoo is cooking then" Chanyeol replied and Kyungsoo glared at him 
"I'm pretty sure all of you can cook as well" he said moodily
"If you want us all to come down with food poisoning" Kris replied and Kyungsoo sighed as the others laughed.

"It's official, I will forever hate maths" said Jongin as he and Joonmyun made their way down to the hall for lunch 
"I'll have to agree with you on that one" Joonmyun replied 
"And it was only our first lesson!" Jongin shouted as a few first years walking past them jumped before scurrying away 
"Well if you keep shouting like that, at least the kids won't think about back chatting you" Joonmyun replied and smirked when Jongin nudged him. 

"You know this is probably the longest we've spent with each other without something happening" Joonmyun said 
"Feels weird doesn't it?" Jongin asked and Joonmyun smiled
"Just a bit... although I can guarantee Tao will faint again in biology soon enough or Chanyeol will hurt himself again" he replied and Jongin laughed 
"Knowing them" he said and the two fell into a silence. In fact, as they walked together, they realised that this was the most comfortable they have ever been since Jongin's mum died and things went up with his dad.

"Do you think I would still be the idiot I was if I didn't start hanging around you guys when I did?" Jongin asked
"Honestly... no. I think it would have gotten to the point where you either did something really stupid or me and the others had to talk some sense into you. I think you would have eventually saw the errors of your ways and snapped out of it eventually" Joonmyun replied
"The error of my ways? Wow... got to be the cheesiest thing you've said so far" Jongin said and both of them laughed 
"Do you reckon I would have still done all that... stuff if mum was still alive?"
"Who knows, what happened, happened and you've battled through it to get to where you are now" Joonmyun replied and Jongin nodded.

"You know, when you found me and I ended up in hospital. I laid in that bed thinking I had no future at all. That nobody would want me and even when SooMan turned up I still thought it was a waste of time and JooGi and dad had already done to much damage" he muttered before Joonmyun wrapped an arm around his shoulder
"Well my dear Jongin we are part of the Kim family. Besides your father the rest of us, including you AND your mum, are fighters. We never give up and even if we should act like or get ourselves into trouble, we always manage to pick ourselves up in the end" he said and Jongin nodded as he wrapped an arm around Joonmyun 
"And now we have a whole year before graduation to muck things up all over again" he added and Joonmyun laughed as they finally headed into the hall.

In todays world full of hardships and trials, many teenagers find themselves not wanting to grow up and having to face the adult world. Heck, even grown ups and looking back and wishing that they could relive their younger years over again. Alas... it has to be done... the kingka's, otherwise known as EXO, actually got through their final year perfectly fine. There were a few hiccups such as arguments due to stress with exams but nonetheless, all twelve of them managed to pass and get into the universities they wanted. 

Even at universtiy they managed to keep in contact, good job they did because that Christmas, Joonmyun and Yixing were finally married. On a winters evening under the fairy lights. When university was finished with, some had managed to settle into jobs quite quickly whilst one by one the Korean's went to do their military service; Joonmyun going first and Sehun now finishing his. Despite all of this, the group had managed to remain friends. Yes Tao and Kris moved to Canada for a while and Sehun and Luhan lived in Beijing for a while (where Sehun proposed to Luhan on the Chinese New Year with fireworks for extra fluffiness) but they're like boomerangs; no matter where they go, they always come back to the place that matters to them the most.

After all, they are one and they are EXO.

Ok so super cheesiness and fluffiness at the end and a sweet Joonmyun/Jongin moment for which I apologise for. 
Yes, I'm afraid this story is ending 
The next chapter will be the last one so we see if Yixing's dream comes true 
No there will be no part 4 :'( *sniffs*
