"Why do I always end up helping you in these kinds of situation?" Kyungsoo asked her as they were crouched on a small dark tunnel. They've been using the same passage way for seven years of sneaking out, Kyungsoo accidentally discovered it while playing as a kid. 

"I think you know the answer" She smiled at him as she continued to crawl

"As a matter of fact, I really don't know. Can you please tell me why?" He asked with a smirk though he knows the reason very well

"u-uh... Because you... L-love me, r-right?" Seohyun felt shy all of a sudden as her cheeks turn to a shade of pink 

 

"Oh...Do I?." Kyungsoo was thankful for the dark space because Seohyun wasn't able to see his sly smirk. He was trying to tease the girl because he wants to avoid himself from being gloomy and bitter because of what happened earlier. Helping her get out of the island is more depressing than that because there is a high chance that he will lose his job and the worst part is... he'll be losing her

 

Seohyun became more uncomfortable as Kyungsoo's statement became an akward silence.

 

"Y-yah, why are being like this?" 

 

"Being like what? what did i do?" He asked teasingly acting to be defensive

 

"W-why are you quiet all of a sudden?" she squinted her eyes at him

 

"That's because I don't have anything else to say. What do you want me to do? tell you my whole life story?" 

 

"Y-you!--- Aish whatever" Seohyun said with a strong hint of annoyance in her voice. Kyungsoo felt guilty and attempted to quit teasing her but something she said made him change his mind.

"D-don't you love me anymore?" she mumbled to herself as they almost reach the end of the tunnel. He burst out of laughter, she is taking his jokes seriously. Ofcourse he loves her

"W-wae!? Why are you laughing all of a sudden? have you gone mad?" Seohyun became more frustrated as they reached the end of the tunnel that led them to the shore

 

"Haha! you're so cute you know that?" Kyungsoo pinched her chubby cheeks as he giggled 

 

"Ehh??" 

 

"I was just teasing you! Ofcourse I love Seohyuniee'" Kyungsoo told her with a smile as they walked along the shore like they did yesterday

 

"You're mean!" She stuck her tounge out and then laughed along with him

 

"Kyungsoo-oppa, how am I gonna leave this Island again?"

 

"Oh! first let's find a boat. Other servants get groceries and some other stuff in a nearby island so they need to use a boat that's provided by juinnim. There must be a boat nearby" 

They continued to search for a boat. Seohyun wasn't scared of sailing alone, she's even excited about it. She can almost imagine how her life would be there, how her life would be with her prince.

 

"How about you Seohyun-ah?" 

 

"H-huh?" 

"Do you feel the same way" Kyungsoo couldn't believe that he's finally telling this to her, his broken heart was once again beating faster in his chest. I thought you were already broken? Kyungsoo asked his heart mentally

 

"Feel the same way?" She looked at him with a confused expression, Kyungsoo sighed and held her warm hands as he went infront of her

 

"Do you love me too?" He doesn't care anymore, he just wanted to know what she thinks about him. He doesn't care about the pain that he will feel once again. He just want to know and hear it from her lips

 

"Ofcourse I love you" She giggled softly as she jumped and hugged him 

 

"Y-you do?" His eyes widen 

 

"Yep! I love DO KYUNGSOO!" 

"S-seohyun..."

"I loved you eversince we were little, you were the first man I love besides appa and i know that you love me too! You help me with almost everything, you make me smile when i'm sad and you were always there by my side. I'm really thankful that you're here, i'm really thankful that you are my bestfriend! I love you very much Kyungsoo-oppa! You're my Knight in shining armour!"

Eventhough he heard the word Bestfriend, he still felt so happy. Eventhough she doesn't love him the way that he does to her, it made him feel a lot better. He hugged her back and closed his eyes, he wanted this moment to last forever

 

"Ne Seohyun-ah, Why am I only a Knight instead of a prince?" why just a bestfriend instead of a lover? 

 

"Aren't you honored?!"Seohyun joked pretending to be shocked

"No! I'm honored your highness" Seohyun curtsied as she gave her hand to the slightly bowing Kyungsoo.

 

They both bursted into laughter

 

 

 

 

The ship was already full. Eventhough the cruise haven't started yet, a lot of guest have already arrived including some of the media and who will be filming the whole party. Luhan was a bit nervous and frustrated, this is the first ever party that he will be hosting.

 

"Oppa! Why can't I come? It's your birthday and I'm your sister!" Krystal whined at her brother as she followed him into the ship. 

"Soojung, you're grounded, remember?" He answered sternly 

"Who are you to ground me?! And please stop calling me by that name, I prefer Krystal more"

"And who are you to keep secrets from me? You were dating my bandmate. Why didn't you told me?"

"Because I knew that you wouldn't approve to us"

"Then why did you continue to see him? You know that that guy is no good I mean, look at yourself now, you changed. The way you dress, the way you act, and even the way you call yourself and it's all because of that guy"

It was true, the innocent and sweet Soojung was now replaced by a wild and aggressive Krystal. The simple and light colored dresses she used to wear was replaced by black leather jacket, mini skirts and fishnet stockings. Her pale face which used to always be fresh and bare was now covered by smoky eye shadows and red blood lipsticks. She did all of this because of him and the thought of Chanyeol malipulating his sister pisses him off

 

"Why do you care? I'm seventeen and I can do whatever I want with myself"

"And now he dumped you..." Krystal became quiet all of a sudden, Luhan can clearly see her teary eyes. She was in pain and that is what Luhan hate seeing the most

"...I-I....I have K-Kai now so..." 

"What!?" Luhan's blood began to boil again 

 

"K-kai... there I said it"  

 

"That's it young lady! you are not coming to the party and that's final" He went inside the ship leaving his angry sister behind

 

"You're the worst Oppa ever!!" 

"Yeah yeah whatever"  

 

"Oh you guys are so dead" Luhan whispered to himself as he went on the stage and announced the start of the cruise.

 

 

"Seohyun-ah, let's just go back. It's already dark and there is still no sign of a boat anywhere, let's just go back tomorrow"

 

"No! we can't go back. This is the only chance we got" 

"Why are you so inlove with that guy anyway? are you sure that that guy is even a real prince? what if he's only dressed like one in that picture?" Kyungsoo said of bitterness

"To tell you the truth, I really don't know why. I don't really care if he's a real prince or not, I just want to meet him"

"What? I thought you wanted a prince?"

 

"Well, eventhough he isn't a real prince for me he's a prince.... he's my prince" She said as she held into her locket

 

"I'm not following" Kyungsoo scratched the back of his head

"You see, every guy in this world is a prince waiting for their princess"

"But why am I just a Knight?"

"You're a prince too you know, a prince who is still looking for his princess."

"Why am I just a Knight to you?" He rephrased his question. Kyungsoo thought that he had accepted everything, he's still bitter

"Because you were meant to be my Knight" She smiled at him

"I'm sure you'll find your own princess someday" she added. He understood what she meant, maybe they were destined to love each other only as bestfriends. though he got to admit he really can't accept that fact without being bitter

"You're such a pure, innocent and cute human being you know that?" He pinched her rosy cheeks as they continued to look for the boat. Since it's already dark, they're only light was the moon. 

"Ne, Oppa do you remember the time when we snuck out to swim before?" Seohyun looked at the sea illuminated by the moon

"Yeah... You always beat me everytime we race" Kyungsoo smiled at the memory. Both of them used to sneak out when they were young, Kyungsoo was the one who taught her how to swim

 

"Atleast I can swim to Korea if ever we don't find a boat" Seohyun joked as she kept searching

"Might as well start now" Kyungsoo said

 

"you don't need to swim my dear..."They heard an old woman's voice. They looked around to see where did the voice came from

 

"W-who are you?" Seohyun asked still looking around for a figure

"Show yourself!" Kyungsoo bravely demanded

"Ah~ My children, don't be scared..." The voice said as she finally revealed herself from the shadows of the trees. She was an old hunched back woman dressed in black, her hair was white and dirty, her face was full of wrinkles, and she had a wooden cane. 

Seohyun got frighten and hid behind Kyungsoo, the woman reminded her of the witches her sisters mention while reading her a story before

 

"W-why are you here?! How did you get here?! You are one of the Mafia, aren't you!?!" He said to the old woman

"My dear, don't be scared, I'm here to help you....help you get out of this island" The old woman ignored Kyungsoo's threteaning questions and looked straight at Seohyun's brown orbs

"Yah! Answer me, damn it!" 

"K-kyungsoo...She can help us..."

"But Seohyun! No one is supposed to know this island! She might be a danger to us" 

"B-but..."

"Yah! Ahjumma speak up or I'll report you to Juinnim!" 

"Oppa Don't! Appa will know that I'm trying to escape if you tell him" Seohyun went in front of the woman

"Child, I am no threat to this island. I'm only here to help" 

"Seohyun! it's dangerous"Kyungsoo tried to grab her away from the woman

"Oppa, you said you'll help me right?" 

"I did, but I really don't trust this lady"

"If you don't trust her, then trust in me" Seohyun looked into his eyes with determination.

He wants her to be happy, to see her smile, to hear her wonderful laughter but he also wants her safe. Being with her prince is what she wanted and ofcourse it will make her happy but it's just not safe, he's torn between her happiness and safety. For all these years, she was safe but she doesn't get the true happiness she was looking for...

"F-fine" Kyungsoo let her wrist slide from his grip. Seohyun smiled and mouthed a thank you to him 

"Madam, please help us" She held the woman's wrinkled hand

"Very well then, I shall help you" 

"There is a boat which can only be used by a single person but to obtain the said boat, you shall do me a favor" She continued

"Anything madam, I'll do anything" The old lady got a small vial with a transparent liquid from her black clothing and placed it to Seohyun's palm

"Drink it and you shall do me a great favor" The woman gave a (creepy) smile. Seohyun opened the small container and looked at him

"Trust me..." Seohyun quietly said and drank the liquid before Kyungsoo could stop her

The woman smiled widely and raised her index finger to a small floating boat not far from the shore

"Only a single person" Before he knew it the woman was gone. He swore that he heard a sinister laugh as the woman vanish

"Seohyun! Are you ok!? does something hurt? do you feel dizzy? what did it taste like?" He hurriedly got to her

"I-im fine...it taste like...water?... i guess" She said as she held and caress it gently. She felt a slight ache in but thankfully, she can still breathe

"Looks like i'll be sailing alone then" They walked towards the direction of the boat 

"So this goodbye then?" 

"Hey... don't say goodbye, we'll meet again right?" 

"Yeah...you're right, well see you soon then" She smiled at him

 

 

"Thank you for everything"

 

 

 

 

Sad to say that this will be the last KYUNGSEO moment... well i don't actually know for sure if it is >w< but look at the bright side....more SEOHAN & SEOKRIS ppl!! whoohohoo
