"For the tenth time Seohyun! stop escaping from the Castle. Its not like we're keeping you in here like a prisoner. Its for safety purposes," Taeyeon scolded at her youngest sister. As the oldest sister, Taeyeon knows her responsibilities. Eversince her father left for Korea she became the parent of eight young ladies

 

"Unnie, i just wanted to explore this island a little more and well..because i'm bored," The youngest stated with a pout. It was already her tenth time sneaking out (with the help of Kyungsoo). She was just too curious and fascinated, Kyungsoo always tells her stories about the island and the life beyond it. He said that there are a lot of wonderful things out there.

 

"Mi'lady, i'm sorry for interrupting but Lady Yoona and Lady Sooyoung is fighting over the cheesecake again," A maid walked in with a panicked expression

 

"Ugh... not again," Taeyeon facepalmed. Seohyun couldnt help but to giggle, her unnies are even more childish than she is.

 

"Were not through yet young lady," She said with her slender fingers rubbing her temple as she exited the youngest's room and locked it. Seohyun was grounded... Again

 

"Grounded eh?," she smirked as she walked towards the balcony of her room. She took out her phone and dialed her bestfriend's number. Eventhough they were 'locked' inside the castle since childhood, they weren't completely ignorant about some things. They had private tutors who educated them so they didn't had to leave the island

 

"Yoboseo?" a deep manly voice from the other line answered

 

"Where are you?" she demanded 

 

"In the kitchen, by the way why did you have to call me? you know i'm always at the kitchen." Kyungsoo replied. Kyungsoo is an assistant chef, he is a son of one of the servants so Kyungsoo and Seohyun grew up together in the island

 

"So i can use this device that Father sent us...uh what is it called again?" 

 

"Its a cellphone" 

 

"Oh yeah! a shellphone" D.O's facepalm can be heard from the other line

 

"Seriously, why did you called me?" 

 

"Erm...you see uh..." 

 

"Lemme guess...you're grounded again" 

 

"How did you k-know?"

 

"See? i knew this would've happen. I warned you didn't I?" Kyungsoo said 

 

"Uh yeah so..."

 

"So...What?"

 

"Can you help me sneak out again?" 

 

There was a short pause

 

 

"Ofcourse not" Kyungsoo answered proudly

 

 

"Awww why not?"

 

 

"Cause i dont want to lose my job...and you" Kyungsoo replied whispering the last two words

 

 

"Aww come on Kyungyy!" She whined she didn't seem to notice what Kyungsoo whispered earlier

 

"......NO" he answered sternly after a deep sigh

 

"Please? Kyungy-ah~!" She pleaded sweetly 

 

"N-no!" 

 

 

"DO Kyungsoo~! please help Seohyun to sneak out of the boring castle~" Seohyun did her aegyo with her Keroro voice imitation

 

"How many times do i have to tell you? I already said No!"

 

 

 

 

 

"Seohyun-ah, Can you please tell me why i agreed to this?" Kyungsoo asked defeated by his bestfriend's charm as they walked along the shore picking up some seashells. Kyungsoo managed to sneak her out later that afternoon with a little help from Hyoyeon who was always rooting Kyungsoo for Seohyun 

 

 

"Because you love me so much that you can't bear to see me bored!" She smiled sweetly at him as she hugged him arm

 

The word 'Love' made Kyungsoo's heart flutter eventhough he knows that was not what she meant. He was used to her saying 'I love you' to him because they grew up together and he was her only friend. 'That's right... a friend, nothing more' Kyungsoo already accepted that fact for the sake of their friendship eventhough it hurts him badly deep inside. Seohyun's understanding about True Love is a fairy tale, she believes in love at first sight, she believes in falling inlove with Prince Charmings not to an assistant chef like him. 

 

 

"Yep that's right, Oppa loves Seohyunnie~" Kyungsoo hid his sadness with a wide smile as hugged her back 

 

They continued to walk along the shore with Kyungsoo walking shortly behind Seohyun who was happily humming while collecting rare seashells. 

 

Kyungsoo tried to push aside the thought of his feelings for Seohyun but he just couldn't. Not while hearing and seeing her hum and twirl around, he admired how pure and innocent she was. Eventhough they were all lovely sisters of Nine, her beauty was the one which stood out for him 

 

"Uhh.. Seohyun--" a cute squeal from the girl of him dreams interrupted him

 

"Wah! a prince charming!" she squealed cutely as she held a round bronze jewelry firmly between her two slim fingers

 

"H-huh?" a little startled and worried, he jogged to her 

 

"Oppa, look~!" She said cheerfully as she held out the small treasure she found among the seashells on the shore

 

Kyungsoo took the jewelry only to find out that it is a locket. There was a picture of a boy who looks like a prince;Brown orbs, golden hair, fair skin, and a Crown. His heart fell, this was the man that Seohyun is longing for. The man in her fairytale, the man she expect to love for the rest of her life and that guy is not Kyungsoo

 

He looked at the back of the locket "Luhan" he read loudly

 

 

"Luhan? Maybe he is Prince Luhan! Waah he's so handsome!" Seohyun excitedly snatched the locket from the boy 

 

 

"Luhan! My prince Luhan!" She twirled wrapping her fingers around the locket tightly 

 

 

"Lets just continue your spazzing in the castle, come on let's go home" it was too much for Kyungsoo to bear. He wasnt used to being jealous because only he, besides her father, is the man in Seohyun's life

 

"Ok~" it was the first time she was willing to go home immediately, normally she would ask for ten more minutes.
