Luhan walked along the shore hoping to find the missing locket. The party is already tonight and the important piece of treasure is still not with him. He was already guessing how would his mother kill him because of it,  maybe he would be skinned alive or be dropped to the middle of the ocean and be left to drown.... nah... he would probably just be grounded for the rest of his life

As he walked along the shore, he noticed that the waves were very strong. He stared at the waves as if asking it to take him away so that he could escape his mother's ranting later that day, but something else caught his attention. He saw a small glass bottle with a small parchment inside floating along the waves.

He hurriedly got to it and quickly snatched it. He couldn't take his curiousity and hurriedly open the bottle. 

"I know we'll finally meet someday... my prince Luhan" He read the parchment aloud. His eyes widen as chills ran down to his spine

"T-this can't be.... m-my name..." Luhan couldn't believe his eyes, he felt excited and yet a little creeped out. He thought of someone he know with the same handwriting but he just couldn't figure out who, the handwriting looks delicate and feminine. Then it hit him... maybe it's just from one of his overly obssesed fangirls

 

Even if it was from a fan or from someone he knows, the short message made him a little bit excited so he kept the small parchment anyways. He continued his lonely stroll on the shore till his phone rung

 

"Yoboseo?" he answered in a lazy manner

 

"We need to talk" a manly voice said from the other line

 

"Aren't we talking already?"

 

"I mean we need to talk... face to face, It's about our upcoming new single" 

"Oh c'mon Kris! We just released our new album and you're already up for a new one? We still have alot of time to relax so can't we just chill for awhile and actually have fun?" Luhan protested. Kris is their band's lyricist, he's a serious and a hard working person, He really loves music he even became an orchestra conductor. He is also their band's bassist

"You're just being lazy, meet me at stardoe's cafe. I already called everyone" he said emotionless

"I'm busy. I need to take care of a lot of things, there's a party tonight remember?"

 

"If you're not here  in thirty minutes i'm definately gonna drop you out of the band"

 

"What the-- H-hey!--" His attemp to protest failed as the man from the other line immediately hung up.

 

"Damn you Kris" He cursed under his breath 

 

 

 

Kyungsoo stared at the broken locket with a blank expresssion, he's been fixing the bronze treasure eversince last night thinking that it might atleast cheer her up. This was all his fault, if he hadn't talk none of this would ever happen. He should have stayed out of it. His conscience is literally killing him, hearing or seeing her cry is killing him. 

She's been crying since last night and she hadn't left her room. Eventhough Kyungsoo's room is eight huge rooms away from her's, he (mentally) hears her sobs

"God! This all your fault Do Kyungsoo!" he said to no one in particular as he toss the locket to the table of his small room 

He couldn't take it anymore and stood up from his seat. He needs to ask for her forgiveness, tell her that he only wants what's best for her. He slowly made his way to her room through a long quiet corridor. 

The walk to her room was doubtful for him, he still has no idea on how would he approach her. His heart was beating faster with every step. 

His heartbeat doubled its speed as he arrived in front of her room. He was about to knock when he finally heared the thing that he hates to hear the most....her sobs and weeps

His heart were being shattered to pieces, she was crying because of him. He wanted to comfort her but he can't, he couldn't, he shouldn't. He sighed, he cant do this. He then went back to his room with a broken heart., maybe fixing the locket was the best thing to do...

 

~Meanwhile~

"Neh, Unni! when you're in Korea, always send me a lot of delicious foods, Ok?" Yoona smiled at her sister as she helps her pack. They will be leaving the island tonight so she already started packing

"Hehe~ Arraso" Taeyeon smiled back. She will be leaving her eight sisters and she couldn't help but to worry, for all these years she stood as their mother and now she is leaving them.

 

"Yoona~ah, always take care of your sisters ok? never let anyone leave the castle without our permission always--" Taeyeon was cut off by Yoona's infamous aligator laugh

"Hu-huh? What's so funny?" Taeyeon asked her laughing sister

"Haha~ You're acting like a mother" 

"Aren't I?" 

"Ofcourse you're not! You're our sister plus for all this years you never acted like one"

"Y-yah! I did!" Taeyeon became flustered

"Haha~ No! If you ask me, You're even the most childish amongst us" Yoona poked her sister jokingly. Taeyeon pouted

 

"Haha! I'm just joking. Don't worry we'll manage, just promise me you'll be safe" Yoona hugged the older maiden

"I didn't know you guys are so dramatic" Sica entered the room along with the rest of their sisters but ofcourse without Seohyun. Taeyeon's eyes were still slightly red because of crying with Seohyun all night, she was frighten it's her first time seeing her father like that. She's not mad at her father for doing that though because she knows that he only wants Seohyun's safety 

 

~Flashback~

 

 

Their father slamed the door shut behind him as he left the room leaving Kyungsoo with the youngest and the eldest.

 

"Unni... Why was appa like that?" Seohyun managed to ask her sister between her sobs

"Seohyun, he only wants what's best for us so please do as he say" Taeyeon wiped her tears

 

"Why wont you take me with you? I grew up in this island and i never got to see anything but the ocean surrounding it unlike you guys." 

 

"Seohyun, stop this. You know that it's not safe for you out there"

 

"No. I wont stop, I want to leave this place you can't stop me" She said stubbornly as she freed herself from her sister's embrace

 

~End of Flashback~ (A/N: Ok....That was short >w<)

 

 

"Why do you have to be so stubborn?" Taeyeon whispered to herself 

"Yah! Taeyeon! didn't you hear what I just said?" Sooyoung called breaking Taeyeon's train of thoughts

 

"W-what?"

"I said Find me a boyfriend in Korea, he needs to be as handsome as Brad Pitt, arasso?" Sooyoung giggled as she helped Taeyeon pack too

 

"Ahahaha! gotcha. Anything else?" Taeyeon chuckled

 

"Buy me a puppy!" Tiffany said 

 

"Me too! Buy me a new shoe!" Sunny said

 

"Ok, oh...by the way Sunny, do you want some insoles with that?" Taeyeon asked teasingly causing all of her sisters to laugh hysterically

 

"Yah! we've been practicing this for the whole day! can't we just continue this tommorow?" Chanyeol complained. It's already afternoon and they're still practicing Kris' newly composed song 

 

"Yeah, I'm already exhausted" Kai added

 

"Quit complaining. From the top" Kris placed his slender fingers on top of some frets of his bass guitar as he posistion his left hand to strum once again

 

"Hey hey hey, you said that we're only gonna meet to plan for this song, but why the heck are we practicing this early? I mean, we just released a new album and the song is not even that complicated to play" Luhan placed a hand on one of Kris' shoulder

 

"You said it yourself, It's not complicated at all so stop whining" Before anyone could argue, Kris already strumed his guitar thus starting the rehersal again

With Chanyeol at the drums, Kris with a bass, Lay and Kai with their guitars, and the charismatic vocalist with a mic, They made an amazing band of five eventhough four of the members are doing their part half heartedly.

A loud ringtone filled the studio completely interrupting the wonderful rehersal

 

*Beep*Beep*Beep*

 

"Yah, who ever owns that stupid phone, pick it up already" Chanyeol said with a hint of annoyance in his voice

 

"Aishhh! it was already going perfectly" Lay said 

 

 

"Whose was that?" Kai asked while scratching the back of his head 

 

 

"Well, It's not mine" Luhan checked his phone. The four of them quickly exchanged glances

 

 

"It's mine, sorry. excuse me for a second" Kris said as if he hadn't done anything wrong and left the room

 

 

 

"He's the best band leader, isn't he?" Luhan said sarcastically  

 

 

"Yepp, the best..." Chanyeol said as he rolled his eyes

 

 

"You know, we should kick him off the band" Kai then started to strum his guitar to a random tune. He really doesn't mean it in fact, he even believes that the band wouldn't be as popular if the leader wasn't Kris. Eventhough he has a cold and a serious personality he's still the most talented guy Kai ever knew

 

"Say, Luhan would there be ladies at your party tonight?" Chanyeol nudged Luhan ignoring Kai's 100^th we-should-kick-him-off-the-band suggestion

 

 

"Party? Party for what?" Lay scratched his nape as he looked at Luhan with a questioning look

 

 

"Yah! It's my birthday didn't you remember?"

 

 

"Oh...uh.H-hhAPPY BIRTHDAY? eheheh so am i invited now?" Lay greeted akwardly

 

 

"Yah Luhan! you didn't answer me"

 

 

"Yeah yeah Dara noona would be there" 

 

 

"Eh Jinja?! ahahaha Luhan-ah, Your most handsome bestfriend is invited right?" He said as he put an arm on Luhan's shoulders and pointing his other index finger  to himself at the same time

 

 

"Yeah yeah whatever. just don't stare weirdly at her like you always do" Luhan answered shaking off Chanyeol's arm

 

 

"It's called Love at ALWAYS sight!" Chanyeol said dramatically

 

 

"Sounds like a creeper" Kai chuckled along with Luhan

 

 

"I'm invited too right?, right?" Lay pouted

 

 

"Yah! you're the one whose taking secret glances at Soojung!" Chanyeol shot back angryly as he exhaled loudly with his nostrils

 

 

 

"Atleast I don't drool while staring at her!"





"Yah! that's my little sister you dumb*sses" Luhan interfered 

 

 

"Uh, guys...-" Lay attempted to join the conversation 

 

 

 

"Yah! You're even secretly taking photos of her." Chanyeol shouted back

 

 

"Oh yeah?! well how did you know?" Kai was already pissed

 

 

 

"G-gguys?"

 

 

"Because she's my ex-girlfriend!" Chanyeol stood up from his drum stool 

 

 

"Your WHAT?!?!?" Luhan's eyes widen. He didn't receive any news about his one and only sister being in a relationship. His blood was already boiling, he had a feeling that one two of his bestfriends will have a broken neck(s) later that day

 

 

 

 

"GUYS!!!"Lay suprisingly shouted which made them all quiet at once 

 

 

"Am I invited?" Lay innocently asked

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kyungsoo was walking back and forth infront of Seohyun's room. He finally fixed the broken locket, he only needs a little bit more courage to finally apologize to her and hopefully, Confess his feelings for her.

 

"I can do this.... Do Kyungsoo you can do this" He repeatedly said to himself as he paced back and forth

 

 

"Just tell her you're sorry and.... and... and...you love her..." Kyungsoo slowed to a stop.

 

 

"Yaaahhh chinguyah~ confessing to my maknae so soon?" Hyoyeon appeared out of no where hands on her hips

 

 

"H-hyoyeon-ssi, how long have you been in there?" His cheeks became bright pink

 

 

"Awhile?" She giggled softly

 

 

"W-why didn't you informed me?" Kyungsoo scratched the back of his head shyly

 

 

"Nevermind that, so...?" 

 

 

"S-so, what?"

 

 

"Why the heck are you still out here? Go to her! now" Hyoyeon literally pushed Kyungsoo to her little sister's room

 

"H-hyoyeon-ssi!" Suprisingly, Hyoyeon single handedly open the huge double doors to her room and pushed Kyungsoo in effortlessly

 

"Goodluck~ Brother-in-law" Hyoyeon winked at him and closed the doors

 

 

 

 

 

 

"...Kyungsoo-oppa..." hair all over his body rose as a sad voice called to him

 

"Seohyunnie..." He approached the large white bed and saw her there with a pityful appearance

 

 

"Oppa..." She raised her head from her knees and smiled sadly at the young man. Her eyes were red, her cheeks were dried of tears, her hair is a mess. She looked horrible

 

Kyungsoo sat on her bed next to her and wraped her in his arms.

 

"I'm sorry..." He gently her

 

 

"It's not your fault..." She said as they broke their hug

 

 

"No, it is. I told Juinnim about the locket..." He said with guilt

 

 

She sighed loudly then smiled at him.

 

 

"I don't blame you, I don't blame anyone..." she said. Kyungsoo was relieved 

 

 

"Ne, Seohyun-ah I want to show you something" he held the locket up as he grinned at her

 

 

 

"Wah! you fixed it!? Thank you, Kyungyyy~!!! Thankyou" Her face instantly lit up as she wore the locket 

 

 

 

"There, you're smiling again! That only means that Do Kyungsoo is the only one who can make Seohyun smile when she's sad" He said proudly as he hugged the giggling girl

 

 

"Ne, Seohyun-ah, d-do you remember when we were little? you said that you want to marry a prince charming right?" Kyungsoo stuttered. First step is done, now he's gonna confess. Kyungsoo's heart was once again banging hard in his ribcage, what the heck is wrong with his heart? He wondered why is it being like this whenever he think, see, or hear her. Well, she's his first love afterall

 

 

"Yes, that's why when I saw the prince on the locket, I immediately fell inlove with him. Maybe fate brought this locket to me" Seohyun wrapped her fingers around the locket and closed her eyes

 

 

This mentally hit Kyungsoo, hard. Why was he so stupid to actually think that she would love him back, she never loved him as more than a friend. What hurts the most is that she would rather love a guy who she never knew than the guy who cared for her, who treated her like his princess, whom she knew since childhood, the guy who loved her without being loved back. Kyungsoo always thought that fairytales were unfair, the prince always gets the girl in the end but what about the guy who really cared for her from the start? Doesn't all Once upon a time ends with Happily ever after? 

 

Tears just started to fall from his eyes, he was thankful because Seohyun had her eyes closed. It hurts, his heart hurts like hell. It turns out that he wouldn't be loved back after all, for all these years he thought that maybe he would actually have a chance if he endured the pain, if he would be patient. It wasn't Seohyun who hurt him, its just reality, a very hurtful truth. 
 

 

He quickly wiped his tears away. Seohyun wasn't Ignorant, she was pure. she isn't childish, she's innocent. She believes in fairytales, she believed in happy endings and Kyungsoo knows it best than anyone else so he would do anything to help her find her fairytale. He would do anything for her even if she never loved him, even if there is no prize. The most precious thing for him is to see her smiles. He will always and forever love her, he will never leave her no matter what.

 

 

"Kyungsoo, Can you help me leave this Island?"
