Kyungsoo stared blankly at the horizon as he sat on the shore while waiting for a boat that will take him home to Busan. He was fired by his enraged master as soon as they found out that Seohyun was missing. He felt horrible, not because of the guilt of helping her escape, but the fact that he let her take the boat the old woman offered. He even let her drink the mysterous substance she gave. Kyungsoo is worried sick. He is suppost to be her Knight, he should'nt have left her alone. He should've escaped with her. 

What makes it more sad is that he was sitting in the exact spot he last saw her. Tears started to form in his eyes as he replay the scene in his head. He saw her with the sweetest smile on her face as she waved at him for the last time. The moonlight illuminated her face, The cold evening breeze swept her long brown hair. He felt as if he will never see her again. He grabbed a handful of sand by his side and cletch and unclench his fist as he cried his heart out. Three days of her gone felt like a year without rain. He misses his bestfriend dearly. She was gone because of him. He continued to knead the sand out of rage as he cried. He cried and he cried until he felt a glass buried in the sand

It was a small vial. At first, he thought that it was a letter in a bottle sent by a random stranger but as he wiped his tears and investigated the small bottle futher he noticed and remembered the bottle as the bottle Seohyun drank from that night. He noticed that there were several drops left in it. Not knowing what to do with it, he just placed it inside his pocket as he buried his face on his knees. 

"Come back to me..." He silently whispered 

Seohyun watched in childish jelousy at Kris who gave his full attention to the deaf little girl who's sitting in his lap. They communicated using sign language. She couldn't understand it yet, though

The child giggled sweetly as her small fingers made weird gestures. Kris replied in the same manner. They were currently at the children's play room since it's the children's play time. The room was quiet and noisy at the same time, it was full of happy children playing around in silence. It turns out that Jageun Cheonsa was not only a school but an orphanage too. Seohyun couldn't believe that a cold hearted guy like him would spend his time laughing with children in peaceful silence.

Kris was a part time teacher at the school. He mainly teaches the mute with Sulli, the girl they met earlier.

Seohyun found joy in playing with children too. She met a four-year old boy whose mute, he was an orphan. They played silently with a bunch of toys. They always smile at each other as if it's the only way they communicate

"Hey" Kris' deep voice said as he nudged her

"Please don't tell anyone about this... It's still a secret" He shyly told her as he ran his fingers through his hair. She nodded cheerfully and went back to playing with the boy

They spent the whole afternoon at the orphanage. After the playtime, Kris then became the teacher of the class that Sulli was suppost to be handling, among the children was Seohyun who is carefully observing Kris. She learned a couple of conversational terms in sign language such as: Thank you, You're welcome, please, did you already ate? and more. Kris was a good teacher for children, he was gentle, he was kind and he is patient. Kris turned into a completly new person that Seohyun was very glad to meet.

They decided to settle at a nearby coffee shop as Kris' shift ended. They sat at a table beside the large glass window that allows the view of the streets as the sun set. Kris watched Seohyun's small, pink lips as she mouthed her amazement at him, despite of her distracting beauty (which he admits) he could accurately understand all the things she wanted to say.

"Actually, I grew up at Jangeun Cheonsa with Kai after my grandmother died so I learned how to do sign language. I also have  slight hearing problem so I learned how to read people's lips easily as well" He responded aloud as he stirred his black coffee

She nodded with fascination, a lot of things are new to her. Her tutor couldn't explain a lot of things to her after all. 

They continued to share random stories until the sky turned to a dark shade of blue-violet. They talked until they weren't awkward around each other anymore. Seohyun started to open up to him, she told him about her sisters, the castle, Kyungsoo and a lot of things about her, she was still afraid of telling him their reason for staying on that island. No matter how much she wanted to trust him, she could not trust anyone besides her father, her sisters, and Kyungsoo. She has already put her life into danger, She can't afford to put the rest of them at the same situation as well.

As the moon and the stars appear on the dark, clear sky, they decided to have dinner at a bistro which was not from afar. They're conversation continued as they waited for their orders.

"Ne, Seohyun-ah, what do you do in the island you were from? Isn't it boring to see same faces all day of your entire life?" He rose his thick brow

'Not really, but I enjoy swimming by the beach with Kyungsoo once in a while' she mouthed 

"Oh does that mean you're a good swimmer?" He asked as the waiter arrived with their order. She shrugged cutely as a respond.

They started eating their meals as they continued their conversation

"So how was your first visit at the orphanage?" Kris asked

'Amazing' She simply mouthed with thumbs up

"Learned any terms?" 

She looked up as she tried to remember the terms Kris have taught earlier. She then made a hand gesture that says: How are you?. Kris smiled and replied 'Im fine' in sign language. 

They continued their conversation in sign language as Kris gave her tips and taught her some simple terms. They finished their meals and drove home.

The bistro wasn't that far from Luhan's villa so they arrived in no time. Before getting out of Kris' car, Seohyun asked a small favor.

'Kris-oppa, How do you say I love you?' She mouthed to him as she looked at him from the passanger's seat

Kris' heart skipped a beat as soon as he saw her say it. Nevertheless, he teaches her how to do it. He raised his fist and lift his small finger then index finger followed by his thumb.

"You hold your hand like this..." 

Seohyun mimicked Kris' action but she didn't lifted her thumb

'Like this?' 

Upon seeing her mistake, Kris smiled and shook his head as he reached for her thumb. Kris' finger brushed against her soft ones on the process and for some weird reasons, Kris's heart beat sped up upon skin contact. His gaze went from their hands to her somewhat twinkling eyes, her smiling eyes stared back at him. His heart was literally going crazy. He abruptly got his hands off of her as it made its way to the steering wheel

The young lady was startled and worried. ' Are you alright?' she asked while shaking him softly so that he will know what she was trying to say

"I- I'm f-fine" He stuttered as he put a hand on his chest. His heart continued to bang against his ribcage, he began to worry.

'You sure?' she asked worriedly. He nodded with a weak smile

'Thank you for everything. Goodbye' She said in sign language as she got out of the car and waved goodbye at him while wearing a beautiful smile that got his heart going crazy again. He did the same and drove. He was planning to stop by the nearby clinic for a check up, who knows? he might have a heart disease or something.

"What the heck is wrong with you?" He silently asked his heart with a silly smile in his face.

"She's back!" Soojung chirped as she stood up from laying down the sofa when she heared the door bell. She raced to the front door and hurriedly opened it. It was already nine thirty that evening and she was already getting worried so it was a relief when she heared the door.

"O-oh hey Krystal..." A tall man greeted with a hand on the back of his head. Soojung's expression immediately changed from excitement to annoyance as soon as she saw the man instead of the sweet Seohyun she met earlier that day. 

"Chanyeol-Oppa, What are you doing here?" She raised a brow and shot him a cold glare. She was no longer the clingy Krystal Chanyeol once knew, she'd changed ever since he dumped her. With the help of her older brother, Sehun, she was able to move on.

"W-ell... I... was on my way home when I passed by your house... I figured I should atleast... stop by" Chanyeol couldn't look straight into her eyes. He wanted to say sorry, he felt guilty of all he has done that caused her pain. He loved her afterall and letting her go wasn't the best idea. Yes, he regretted breaking up with her and he hated himself for doing such stupid thing. He hoped for a second chance, to make it up to the heart he broke

"If you're here for Luhan-Oppa, He's busy right now so I suggest you go home now and have a good night--" Soojung stated emotionless as she tried to close the front door but Chanyeol stopped her

"W-wait... I'm actually here for you..." He almost whispered but Soojung managed to hear it clearly

"What do you want from me then?" 

"I... I'm sorry for everything..." he said to her with a sincere voice but his eyes were on the floor, unable to show his face to her cold, expressionless one's.

"I regret everything I've done to hurt you... please forgive me..." He tried his best to look at her eyes but failed to do so with the guilt her stare gave him. He felt so pathetic under her cold stare

"Let's start over again... please give me another chance. Let's forget everything and start over again please Krystal. I've always loved you and appearantly ending our relationship was the worst thing that I've ever done..." His eyes began to water. He was honestly saying it from the bottom of his heart. His head automatically rose to look at her when he heard her sob

"Forgive? Forget?... Do you think it's that easy?" The tone of her voice was as cold as ice even in between her sobs. Warm tears cascaded her cheeks as she continued

"Oppa... It hurts... why?... Do you enjoy seeing me cry? Are you happy now?" She cried, she could no longer stop her tears. It kept falling as her heart ache. She gave up, she can no longer endure the pain he had caused her. She can't bring herself to play dumb. To actually believe and trust in his words. 

Soojung thought that she'd already moved on but the pain was still there. Kai was just a useless rebound afterall

"You told me I was in your heart... You told me you'll love me forever...you told me..."

"You told me you'll never let me go.." She cried harder with every word

"Kry-krystal don't cry, please. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me" He moved closer to her and attempted to hug her and wipe her tears but she weakly shook him away 

"I'm not Krystal, she's already dead." She finally slammed the door shut leaving Chanyeol standing there.

"Krystal!"

She continued to cry after she closed the door, she sat there and helplessly cried her heart out. Memories of him and her flashed in her mind, they were together for almost two years and it wasn't an Ideal relationship. He cheated on her numerous times but she remained steadfast on her love for him, she was a fool. She even waited for him to dump her before she realized it.

"Soojung? What's wrong?" Sehun rushed to his little sister upon seeing her crying and weeping pityfully

"Oppa..." She stood up and went into his arms. She cried harder and buried her face into her brothers chest

"Shh...shh... It's ok, Oppa is here" He hugged his sister tightly as he ruffled her hair

"It's Chanyeol-hyung isn't it?" He calmly asked her as she began to calm down. He felt her nodd

They stood like that for a minute or two until she calmed down

"Ne Oppa, Would it be easy for you to forgive and forget?"

Luhan played random tunes with the enormous classical piano placed at the middle of their music room. He immediately went home after Kris left with Seohyun because he had nothing better to do so here he was, trying to play the song Seohyun played earlier that day. It feels oddly familliar to him and he wanted to remember it.

He sighed loudly, he closed the case of the piano keys. He gave up, he was trying to remember it since after rehersal and he remembers nothing. His gaze went to the wall clock hanged from across the room, it was already Nine forty in the evening and Kris haven't brought her back yet. He decided to dial Kris' number.

"Hey Kris..." He started as soon as Kris picked his phone up

"Where are you?" Luhan added as he stood up from the piano stool

"I'm at the clinic right now. Why did you called?" He answered from the other line

"C-clinc? why? what happened to Seohyun?!" 

"Nothing. I already dropped her infront of your villa like ten minutes ako. I'm here at the clinic for a check up, why? Isn't she there yet?" Kris' voice said with a hint of wory

"No... I'll check outside, I'll call you later..." Luhan began to worry and ran down the stairs to go outside. As he reached the bottom of the stairs, he saw Sehun wiping his little sister's tears. 

"Luhan-oppa! Why are you running? is something wrong?" Soojung faced Luhan as soon as she saw him

"I should ask the same question...why are you crying? and more importantly, has Seohyun arrived yet?" 

Soojung shook her head

"Where did she go?" Luhan said under his breath as he went to the door

"I'm going to find her, you guys stay here" 

"Isn't she with Kris?" Sehun asked with a comforting arm around his sister

"No, he said that he already droped her in front of our house"

"I'm comming with you then!" Sehun abruptly said 

"No, you stay here and accompany Soojung..." He sternly replied 

"And you, You better have a clear explanaition of the reason behind those tears when I get back young lady." 

Seohyun ran and ran as fast as her beating heart as a group of men ran after her. She was very scared. They've been following her eversince she got out of Kris' sedan. She tripped for the fifth time and her high heeled shoes were at fault; she continued to run nevertheless. Her vision started to blur as tears filled her eyes, she wanted to scream for help but she couldn't do anything but to run and cry. This is the first time she has encountered this feeling and it's terrifying.

"Yah! Come back here! Be a good girl and listen to your Ahjussi!" A man shouted at her that caused her heart to beat twice as faster. She whimpered as she try to hold back her tears, her tutor said that tears wouldn't help in these kind of situation. She must be strong and wise but she couldn't bring herself to be strong.

The streets were quiet and empty, the road she's been runnning started to grew darker as the street lights leasen in that part of the town. Her fear became greater and greater, her breathings begin to shorten. She wanted to give up already 

As she reached the intersection, she ran faster hoping to lose them but instead, she bumped into a tall man. She didn't saw his face because of the darkness but she felt slight relef. She was saved!

She began to shake the man to somehow let him know that she's in trouble. The man looked confused as he removed his earphones.

"M-miss? are you alright?" The man asked sincerely but with the hint of confusion in his manly voice, he also had an obvious Chinese accent

She began to point to the direction she has come from in a panicked manner but the boy failed to understand and shot her a more confused look

The men caught up after a couple of moments. She decided that the innocent boy wouldn't be any help so she continued to run throught the sidewalk where she shortly discovered an alley were she could hide. She hurriedly crouched and hid behind a large garbage bin by the end of the dead-end alleyway.

Her heart maintained it's fast speed as she held her breath, she heard the men's heavy footsteps as they approach the alley. She covered with both of ther hands as she waited... she waited for a miracle to save her

"Oh~ Seohyunn~ Come out come out where ever you are" The man called at her as the footsteps came closer. She was shocked, how could the man possibly knew her? She was new to this town, she has merely spent two days in that place...

Then it hit her. Those men probably worked for the mafia group that threatens her father, she could no longer stop the tears from forming in her eyes. They were after her, she remembered how her father and her sister used to tell her how bad they were. They told her that they were the ones who killed their mother. 

"C'mon on now~ you wouldn't want ahjussi to be angry don't yo---" she held her breath

There was a period of silence after the mans frightful words. She had a sudden urge to peek around the corner of the garbage bin but decided against it. After a couple of minutes she finally decided to stand up, she sighed loudly and finally took a step forward to peek around.

She felt something behind her

"There you are!" The terrifying voice said as two large men held unto her forearms. She struggled, she faught back, she hopes for a miracle. Tears ran down her puffy cheeks as she mutely kick and shook the men off of her

"Hahaha! The boss will be really glad!" The man holding her left arm commented

"Yeah! The most precious pearl of the Kim family, Kim Seohyun, is finally in our grasp!" The man on her right said

She begins to tire, she begins to lose hope. Her blurry vision only allowed her to recognize nothing but silhouettes, her heartbeats began to pace slower and she was already out of breath. She was tired, she rested her eyelids for what she believe will be the last time.

"Yah!!! You bastards! Let her go!" She heard a voice with a heavy chinese accent, fading as she lost her conciousness

Hehehe~ Guess who's the guy with a very heavy chinese accent >:) Kkkkkkkkkkkkkk
