Side Story 2: Suzy and Soo-Hyun

It’s been a month since Minho visited Suzy. But it still feels fresh for Suzy. When will the wounds heal?

“He’s definitely a nice guy. He has a Harvard degree. He has already started to work for their family company and he is showing a lot of potential. I am sure you 2 are a perfect match.” Said Suzy’s Mom

Suzy is not paying attention. She hasn’t even graduated yet but her Mom is already setting her up on a date with a business partner’s son.

“Oh and you’ve seen him in a party or 2, I don’t think you were ever introduced, but I’m sure you’ve already seen him.” Said Suzy’s Mom

Now, that’s what her Mom got right.

Kim Soo-Hyun

He looks aristocratic. Though he’s just a few years older than WW club, he never paid to them. Others would have followed them everywhere in parties, but Kim Soo-Hyun never did!

He’s definitely a snob.

Or maybe because he doesn’t think highly of Seoul Universities because he has a Harvard degree.

“Well excuse me! I’ve beaten the USA in the recent Olympics, Dude!” thought Suzy

If he ever says anything against WW club, she won’t hesitate to boast her Olympic gold medal.

Suzy went inside the restaurant.

“Ok, He’s on that table, that one wearing the black suit-“ said Suzy’s Mom

“I know it already, Mom.” Said Suzy

Suzy’s Mom left her and she proceeded to the table where her date is waiting.

“Hi.” Said Suzy

Soo-Hyun looked up.

“Hi. Have seat Miss Suzy.” Said Soo-Hyun

Oh, he’s too formal.

They made an order and started eating. It was really awkward and so quiet. Well if he’s not going to start speaking, I won’t initiate.

“I heard WW club broke up.” Said Soo Hyun

Suzy almost choked and had to drink water coughing.

“I’m sorry..ehem…ehem…” Suzy calmed herself, there is no second date for sure. She can only imaging what she looks like while coughing.

Of all the questions he has to ask…he can say something about the weather first, or where she came from before going to the restaurant…how is she, how old is she…what is she studying…There can be hundreds of possible first questions!
