Chapter 30

To hold on or to let go

Minho and Sulli are together.

“What do you think you’re doing?” asked Sulli confused

Minho shut his eyes. He did it again. He acted without thinking again.

“I don’t know…I just felt that I don’t want you to be there with him alone.” Said Minho

“Why?” asked Sulli

“I don’t want you to kiss him” said Minho

“And why?” asked Sulli

“Because…” Minho had to take a deep breath. “ Because those lips are mine.”

Sulli can’t speak. She just looked at Minho.

“I don’t want any man to get near what’s mine.” Said Minho

“This lips belong to the man I love.” Said Sulli

“And who is that?”asked Minho

Sulli looked away

“Is it someone I know? Is it Hyung? Did I just stopped what is supposed to be your most romantic moment?” asked Minho

That made Anger boil in Sulli’s heart

“You are the most insensitive person ever!” said Sulli angrily “Insensitive, unreliable and the worst ever!”

“Unreliable? Me?” Minho almost chuckled “Almost everyone calls me Mr. Reliable.”

“Yeah right, I relied on you too much…I shouldn’t have.” said Sulli breathless due to anger

“When you said I should rely on you, I believed you…you shouldn’t have taught me to rely on you if you were going to  leave me.” Said Sulli

What are they talking about?

“I shouldn’t have relied on you.” Said Sulli

Minho felt like his heart is being gripped.

“When did I leave you alone? I will always make sure someone is around you.” Said Minho “It’s either Jonghyun or-“

“or Heechul Oppa?” asked Sulli “So what do you think am I? A pet? You’re just going to ask someone to watch over me while you’re gone? And when you’re back I’m gonna wag my tail again?”

“Even if you left someone with me…I still felt …” Sulli turned around so that she can hide the emotion that she’s feeling. “Alone…I don’t know why…But I just felt…so lonely.” Said Sulli anger is slowly being replaced by her sadness

Lonely…She was lonely when he left…

“Why? Why did you feel lonely?” asked Minho

“I don’t know…maybe because you were always there…and then you were gone. Maybe because It felt different when you would always take me home… and when it’s someone else…it was just so…different” said Sulli

“Why? Why is it different? Why do you…want me to take you home?” asked Minho

“Because I… want to be with you.” Said Sulli

Oh no…Sulli just blurted out the words she should not say.

There’s no escape. They are trapped on a cage called Ferris Wheel.

Sulli looked down. But Minho lifted her chin so that she had to look at Minho. There’s almost no space between her and Minho. Their bodies too close like He’s leaning on her. His face just a few inches from hers.

“Say it again.” Said Minho

Sulli is confused. She can smell Minho’s scent.

“Wh…what?” asked Sulli almost out of breath

“Say it again, why you wanted me around.” Said Minho intensely looking at Sulli

“I…” Sulli’s running out of breath “Because I…want to be with you.” Said Sulli

“How much do you want to be with me?” asked Minho, his voice husky…his lips almost touching Sulli’s cheek.

Sulli closed her eyes. “Very much.” Said Sulli

Minho can’t bear it anymore. Just as their ride reached the top of the wheel, He reached for Sulli’s lips and kissed her. Roughly at first because of all the longing he has in his heart for this woman in his arms. And when he felt like his thirst for her is quenched, he slowed his kiss. He tried to make it gentle like wooing her to him. Making her accept him, all the feelings he has inside.

When Minho pulled away, he saw Sulli dazed. Her eyes clouded by confusion.

Heechul and Yuri saw the kiss from both sides…Yuri had to sit down. Heechul immediately looked away.

Minho pulled away from Sulli. “All this time…” Minho said while catching his breath “I never wanted anything as much as I wanted to be with you..”

Minho leaned his forehead on Sulli’s.

“I should have just stopped trying to get away…” said Minho

“What do you mean? Do you…like me?” asked Sulli dizzy with the butterflies in her stomach, confusion and… something else.

“More than you can imagine.” Said Minho grinning

“But…how come…”Sulli tried to reason out but Minho kissed her lips quickly again.

“Are you ready to wage war against the world?” asked Minho “Because I’m gonna fight for you now. And I’m never letting you go.” Said Minho

Sulli is standing behind Minho. Heechul and Yuri standing in front of them. It’s an intense atmosphere.

Yuri made an obvious fake smile.

“I think we’re all tired…why don’t we all go home and rest for now. Umm…Minho why don’t you take Sulli home.
