Tiffany standing in front of her, ready to slaps Yuri face once again. Lucky for her, Taeyeon already held Tiffany hands and pleading her to stop hitting Yuri. Yuri herself really taken back, not because stings pain of her cut lips but Tiffany eye that really red and seem she want to cry. She didn’t understand what happening with Tiffany and why she slaps her.

Inside Yuri rooms, “What did you do to Jessica?!!” Tiffany yanks her collar, while Taeyeon trying to pull Tiffany.

“I…” unable to speak because she know…whatever the reasons of Tiffany rage…this time she really cross the line now. She’s more than speechless now…

“What did you do to my step sister?!!! What did you say to her?!!” Tiffany shove Yuri, she losing her balance and fall to the ground, “She’s missing now!! She didn’t accept my call and all, what did you say to my sister?! Did you believe all those rumors about her?! Like all those people badmouthing her, you also badmouthing her too?!!”

She didn’t know Jessica and Tiffany actually step sister, she only know Jessica just a little and yet she believe all those bad things they said to Jessica. Yuri the tell Tiffany what exactly happen which resulting another slap on her face again, with bleeding lips as addition.

“You search her now and apologize!! Never ever think return if you can’t found her!!! Apologize to her for mistook her!! Apologize for being stupid and believing at jealous fans rumor about her!! Apologize to her because you already hurting her sincere feeling!! You broke her fragile heart Kwon Yuri!!”

Using her umbrella Yuri run searching for Jessica, which she’s found Jessica at hotel gazebo…not really hotels since the gazebo bit far from their hotel. Jessica sit and trembling, Yuri didn’t know whether from rain, thunder, or crying.

Slowly she sit beside Jessica who refuse to see her, even though she have her own umbrella but Yuri still drenched, half of her lower body wet because of rain. “Aigo, why are you here? Tomorrow night they will punish me because of partner-less and if they caught us here, tomorrow morning we will got punishment too! Last day of vacation and I will get two punishments as souvenir? Great!”

Jessica didn’t even answer or didn’t even look at Yuri direction, she just ignores Yuri and Yuri just sighed. “I’m sorry…for badmouthing you, I’m sorry…”

“For what?! You trust them, the only person that I thought will never believe such rumor…turn out also believe that lies and even…for what exactly your sorry for?” the tone so cold and Yuri seem taken back because never once Jessica speak with her using this kind of tone so she just stay quiet and let Jessica said whatever she want about her, “Did you really believe them?”

After minute of pause, “I believe them…half, just half of what they told me because your attitude make their lies become believable, so how could I didn’t trust them? With all those picture and all…I’m sorry for judging you without knowing anything about you…”

Jessica clenched her fist, “Do you think I’m nuisance for you?” Jessica still looking at sea in front of her as long as she didn’t have to look at Yuri, even though there’s nothing but darkness in front of her, thunder and rain.

“I'll be lies if I said no but not really but you do make me confuse…”

Scoffed, “Not really nuisances? If you know the whole reasons for me to do all of this…I wonder what your reaction will be!”

“Tell me then” softly Yuri put her jacket at Jessica body that really soaked in the rain. When Jessica wants to remove the jacket, Yuri holds the jacket firmly at Jessica shoulder.

“The song that I sing for you, do you really do not know the meaning? Because that’s all the reasons for all those sl*t acts or for all those attention wh*re!” Yuri just sighed, she really hate it when Jessica casually said about sl*t or wh*re to herself, “Did you believe when I said that I already love you even before I know your face?”

Yuri unable to speak anything just stays quiet, “Before I transfer to your school, my step father speaks fondly of you! While he’s telling the story about you, about the student council vice that really good at swimming and always win all those tournaments and really kind, also well mannered. I imagine how you look like and completely fall in love with my self-creation of Kwon Yuri. When I first see you, I know I already love you so much and all my imaginations…like comes to live, it’s you! I knew I love you before anything else…”

Yuri slowly nods her head and secretly glances at Jessica who still refuses to look at her. “But why there are rumors about you being…?”

“Because, I know you have so many fans and if I act like them, if I just act like normal fans that only spazzing you and all…I know I wouldn’t be able to get your attention more than just a fans, so I act like that to you…the reasons I skip some of my class is just to watching you when you have PE class or any outdoor class!”

Sigh, Yuri begin to feel dizzy because her friends attitude now. “So they make rumor out of it…I really can’t believe this…why…”

“Because they jealous…” and what make her annoyed, how can Jessica took this calmly and this anger her so much.

“Woah! I’m almost speechless because this is so ridiculous! Yah! You should tell our headmaster to do something about this bullying! How can you take this without making big deal of anything? I can’t believe you and you really unbelievable!!”

Mockery laugh of Jessica Jung add more fuel into her anger, “It’s not that bad, because I don’t care what they said about me but when you, somehow believe them…that’s…” Jessica turn around and surprised herself when she looking at Yuri swollen cheek, two side of her cheek. Her voice that colds changes into her usual tone when she talking with Yuri, full with concerns, “What happen with your cheek?”

“It’s okay, I deserve that!”

Jessica tenderly touches Yuri cheek, “Did Tiffany do this to you? Your lips bleeding…does it hurt?”

“Well…but I didn’t know you and Tiffany step sister?” Yuri trying to change the conversation direction because what more concern her is Jessica now not her swollen lips since she know she really deserve this and Tiffany should hit her harder.

“My mother married with her father about 9 years ago. My step father is the owner of our school and also the chairman!” That’s making sense to Yuri why Jessica still saves for all those skipping class action. Jessica keep touching Yuri swollen cheek, “Did it grossing you out? A girl falls in love with you more than just friends?”

“Like I said before, not really! It doesn’t bothering me but you should choose better one, like someone richer than you so you could uphold your family honor more! My family is just medium scale businessman after all!”

Something likes invisible hand twisting Jessica heart and squeezes it harshly. “This comes from family who work as Doctor! Or you want to reject me?”

“Our business is nothing compares to you because my parents just Professor and Chef at hospital, unlike your mother own Asia biggest Department Store and own Fashion business that I don’t want to elaborate what kind of business is that! Also, your father owns that hospital, right? Hospital which my parents working. This is for your own good anyway and you can take that as rejection if you want! Let’s return to our room, before they really give us punishments!”

The awkwardness when they arrive at their room is so awful, “Do you want to rooming with Tiffany-ssi? I could trade it for you” Yuri kindly offers Jessica who about to enter the bathroom.

Jessica turns around and looks deeply at Yuri, her eye full of pain and sadness which Yuri never look this kind of eye at Jessica before. Eyes that full of spirit and eyes that so mischievous now gone. “Why? You will treat me indifferently now? After I confess, to you will look at me indifferently?”

Yuri sighed, “Not that, I figure you didn’t want to see my face for now…” Jessica already enter the bathroom, while Yuri just sighed, “Why you always making my life hard?” alone Yuri mutters that words and alone Jessica crying inside the bathroom because of Yuri rejection.

When Yuri about to enter bathroom after Jessica, suddenly Jessica yank her arm and pinning Yuri body on nearby wall. Jessica about to kiss Yuri but Yuri hands already stopping Jessica mouth, by gently blocks Jessica mouth.

“Jessica, please don’t!”

Slowly remove her hand on Yuri arms, Jessica just give one sad smile before lowering her head and went to her own bed instead Yuri. Yuri just sighed, she already lost count how many time she sighed this night alone, “I order warm milk with cinnamon for you, please drink that before you sleep. It will help warm your body!”

Jessica didn’t even move and she pretends she didn’t hear Yuri words, while Yuri just entering the bathroom after gives last glance on Jessica who curled like a ball. She knows Jessica crying but still trying to pretend she didn’t cry in front of Yuri.

The party time, the supposedly to called boy wearing their Hawaiian clothes and this already decide by their school. No one dare to oppose this since this mean no breakfast for tomorrow. The girls wear nice sundress. The school already rent the whole pool for themselves. There’s student who voluntary singing the party too.

This party overall spectacular, as you can see Yoona and Sooyoung already raid the party food with their own partner, Sunny who wipe Sooyoung mouth from all that sauce and Yoona keep reminding Yoona meat intake. Taeyeon and Hyoyeon with their own partner already dancing away, Tiffany dancing close with Taeyeon and Nicole who dancing waltz style with Hyoyeon even the song is disco song. They are forgetting their own friends here, alone.

Here’s Yuri alone standing in front of Shinyoung, Yuri wears nice Hawaiian shirt and short. She smile widely but so awkwardly at Shinyoung. “Your partner?”

Yuri just keeps her smile and shakes her head, “So you don’t have any partner or in other words you single for this night? Your smile will never help you out Kwon Yuri!”

But suddenly, one arm clings into Yuri arms in romantic manners, “She just kidding songsaengnim! I’m her partner!” Jessica said while smile at Shinyoung, then she turn around to face Yuri, “You meanie! Leaving me alone just because I took a while for my make up!” seeing Yuri lack of response, Jessica pinch Yuri cheek softly afraid Yuri cheek still swollen because of Tiffany slap.

“Are you angry at me because I make you wait? Did my seobang sulking right now?”

Slowly and not really comprehend with this situation, Yuri slowly shake her head. Jessica just smiles and pulls Yuri along, “Come on, the party already started without us!”

“What are you doing?” whispering Yuri to Jessica who just keep ignoring Yuri, never once she look at Yuri and never once she let go Yuri arms. She just smiles emptily with anyone who looks agape with Yuri arrival with her, arms-in-arms. She gives up asking Jessica question since she knows Jessica wouldn’t answer it. “Just do whatever you want Jessica-ssi as long as you like it…do you want something to drink? I’ll get it for you!”

Yuri went to cocktail bar, while Jessica talking with Tiffany. On her way back, Yuri passing with her friends and they didn’t notice Yuri. They seem plotting something evil, “How dare she got close to our Prince like that?! She needs to be punished!!”

“We must protect our Prince from being tainted by that bi*ch!!!”

“Yes, we should do something that makes her regrets touching our Prince!!”

“Like what?” her friends surprised and turn around in fear, since Yuri already standing there with her stern eye, “Like what? Tell me, how much you will hurt Jessica-ssi…tell me!! How much you will create a lies to hurt her heart?”

“Yuri-ssi…we didn’t mean that…”

Yuri just give them stern eye, that enough to make they quiet and whimpered. “Did you the one who make all those rumors and photoshoped picture? Did you?”

“No…not only us but…many of…”

Yuri just sighed and leaving them, she went to stage. Taeyeon that singing happily stop singing because she’s confuse why Yuri here with that kind of scary face. Taeyeon never see Yuri so angry like this. She ask Taeyeon mic, who confusedly give it to Yuri. Everybody already looking at Yuri, Jessica too.

“Everyone? Can I ask for your attention? Thank you! I’ll make this as simple as I can!” Yuri said while eyeing all her said friends, “Just stop! Stop doing all those nasty things to Jessica-ssi! What you do is bullying her and that’s not good! What you do is hurting someone who is innocent and what you did not protecting me but making me look bad! What worse I didn’t know that my so called friends create all this bullying because of me and I believe their lie…that’s sad, really…”

“So, please stop! Just stop this crazy things!” Yuri said while looking at everyone, “Did that make you happy looking her all quiet took all those bad things that you make? Or are you that happy create all those nasty image and rumor of her so you could have your entertainment out of people misery? Did you? If you that happy, then make it to me instead and never do it to Jessica-ssi anymore!”

“Seeing all you so disappointed like that, maybe I should do this! Why don’t you make those nasty rumors and that photoshop kissing image again to Jessica-ssi and I promise you, I promise to everyone here! If I found out about that again, I will do something that make me wouldn’t call myself as Prince again or worse, make everyone will never think nor see me as Prince again! I mean it because I’m all ready to tarnish this image to protect my friends! Any question or you want to try me?”  

Seeing how everyone silence and she secretly took glance at Jessica. She notice Jessica eye glistering with tears and this time, this is tears of happiness. When Yuri comes off stage, there’s some of her fans standing in front of her.

“Prince!! Did that bi*ch make you do all of this? You can’t believe her since she just using you and all those innocent act she give to you is fake! If you continue on her side, we will never support you again like what…” she couldn’t finish her words, since Yuri already punch her that make her enter the pool and her nose bleeding.

“Taeyeon, give me that mic! Additional speech, please refrain to call Jessica-ssi with inappropriate things or…well, you already see the example! I already told you, I’m so ready to throw this Prince image for my friends! Anyone else?”

“But Prince!! She is an attention wh…” before she could finish her words Taeyeon already throwing her shoes with insole as additional.

“Well, Yuri! I can’t let you took all the attention away and also my love for you so great that could…” she notice Tiffany glaring at her, “But I love Tiffany Hwang Miyoung more!!!!!” but before the fight could happen, Shinyoung and Hwangbo already take over and they currently punishing every bully who create all those rumors about Jessica.    

Yuri and Jessica sit on empty gazebo, far from all their noisy friends. “Why you do something like that?” the question from Jessica, break all those silence between them. While Yuri carefully sipping her drink because her lip not fully healed yet.

“I just want to protect my friends, no one will hurt my friends! If you worried about my image, don’t and I can deal something like this fine enough! Since I don’t really care and I don’t even know where they got that nickname!” seeing how Jessica still look guilty, “Don’t show me your guilty face! Just smile and thank you already enough for me!”

“Thank you” Jessica smile at Yuri who smiles in returns. The smile that Jessica give to her this time is sincere and serene smile unlike all those smile coated with seductive and ravishing, but smile like a innocent child that full with gratitude.

I guess this is the real Jessica Jung…her smile really soothing but there’s still hint of cunning and arrogant on that!

Yuri extend her hands, “So, friends?”

Jessica just stared at Yuri hands before look at Yuri eye, “Friends? Is the only things that you could give me is becoming your friends? Then should I laugh or should I cry because that's all we'll ever be?” Jessica keep looking at Yuri eye, hoping Yuri will change her mind and somehow she will…

But Yuri just smile…just one sad smile, “I’m so happy and really honored with your affection and love, never once I got this kind of affection that really hearten me! I really appreciate it but I’m sorry. I couldn’t date you, I’m really sorry but I don’t want to hurt you! Please understand…and I always want to be your friends and I hope, after all this we still can be friends that support each other through thin and thick!” she notice the way Jessica clenched her fist, her body slightly trembling, she notice Jessica want to cry but nothing she could do.

“Why? Why you couldn’t date me? Is this because of me?” her voice sound so hoarse, like she wants to cry but she holds it and pretends she’s okay.

“No, it’s never because of you. You are perfect girl, your attitude even though you could be seen as cold girl and arrogant but you actually kind and warm girl and cute also full with confidence. You face, body and everything is perfect, so it’s not about you but me. You’re too good for someone like me! I have my own reasons for that, partly because I don’t want to date someone right now…I never interested in dating!”

“That’s really lame excuse! That’s a bulls*** Kwon Yuri!”

Yuri just smile knowingly, “Yes, it’s lame but it’s the truth! I can’t date anyone right now, because I can’t…please understand me. Don’t be upset with this because one day you will found someone better than me not someone like me…and you will forget about this love, no…just mere crush!”

Jessica just lowered her head, Yuri was about to touch Jessica shoulder just retract her hand and sigh and standing up, “Come on, let’s head back Jessica! Because we could watch Sooyoung and Yoona dance battles while they eating!”

Yuri walking while Jessica slowly standing and following Yuri, she reach out for Yuri but what she could grasp is just cold and empty wind of Yuri scent. She just stared at Yuri back when Yuri walking, she look at Yuri step…sadly she smile and following Yuri step with her sad smile. I guess…I can only goes as far as friendship…with her…

Yuri turns around and wave at Jessica, “Jessica! Come on!! You almost missed Sooyoung and Yoona dance battle!! Come on!!”

Seing how Yuri trying to act normal after those awkward confession, make her realize one things that Kwon Yuri indeed never see her more than friends. Jessica force herself to smile and slowly wave back at Yuri, I guess…I should be happy…I could be her friend, I guess that enough for me…goodbye my first love…

Kwon Yuri, You´re the first love to me, the person that taught me love...I'll remember you as of my happiest memories...I'll always remember you...
