Kai and Baekhyun arrived at the restaurant with Lauren standing between them holding their hands. Lauren was wearing a black dress with a pearl necklace Kai had bought her. Baekhyun was wearing a dark blue suit and Kai was wearing all black as usual. Taemin told them that he had just gotten paid and wanted to treat them to a "real" meal, one that Kai the "starving artist" couldn't treat them to. Taemin knew that Kai was far from that but sitll enjoyed making fun of Kai, especially when he got angry saying he's not an artist, but an architect. They went to the hostess and gave her Taemin's name. As if on cue, Taemin came out of nowhere to greet them.

"Jonginnie!" Taemin practically yelled. He wrapped his arms around Kai in a hug. Kai was glaring at first at the foolish nickname but his expression softened at the affection. He hadn't seen Taemin in a while so he was happy to see him.

"And this must be Baekhyun... hyung?" Taemin asked as leaned down to kiss Baekhyun's hand. Baekhyun laughed at Taemin's funny personality but Kai wasn't having it. He grabbed Baekhyun hand and rubbed his thumb over where Taemin had kissed.

"I see the creepy old man syndrome runs in the family, huh?" Baekhyun said, looking up at Kai and then back to Taemin and squeezing his hand.

"Oo, feisty." Taemin winked at Baekhyun and Kai shook his head.

"Really? Don't be one of those, Taemin."

"And finally, my little girl! Lauren!" Taemin picked Lauren up off the ground. "Oh, you've gotten so big. You're so heavy now."

"You've always been weak though," Kai mentioned. Taemin glared at him.

"Anyway, change in plans. I have a date with Lauren tonight and you guys have a date with each other. She'll be at my house tonight. Naeun and I will take good care of here."

"What? You're kidnapping my child?" Kai asked feigning shock but really he was just curious why Taemin was making the gesture.

"Lauren? Do you wanna see Aunt Naeun and stay over at our house?"

"Yes! There are too many boys around these days. I want to see Auntie Naeun."

"See! She wants to," Taemin put Lauren back down and covered her ears, "And I booked the private room back there so you don't have to terrorize everyone in the restaurant since I'm sure Kai is always trying to get in your pants, Baekhyun. He's seriously all the time. Back in high sch-"

"Taemin, shut up. Oh my gosh. You do something nice but you have to ruin it with your terrible personality."

"Fine, fine." The hostess came back from wherever she went and gestured for Kai and Baekhyun to follow her. "Have fun on your date!"

Before they could leave though, Kai and Baekhyun both hugged Lauren and assured her that they would see each other the next day. Kai once again had a hard time parting with his kid but Baekhyun dragged him away knowing that Lauren would be fine.

The private room was intimate with red walls and a single table with two chairs in the middle of it. Kai pulled out Baekhyun's chair for him and once Kai sat down as well, they shared a moment in the silence, just smiling at each other. A bottle of wine was already on the table and when he saw the label, he knew Taemin had chosen it. It was a type of wine that Kai liked but he hoped Baekhyun would like it as well as he poured him a glass. Baekhyun took a sip and smiled, communicating to Kai that it was good for him. He looked around at the decor, admiring the Chinese decorations. Usually you don't see Chinese restaurants this fancy but it was gorgeous and the ambience was just right.

They had dinner and it was nothing out the ordinary. They mostly just wanted to get home. Both of them don't really like dressing up. They wanted to sit in their loose clothes. If they could, they would come out to restaurants like this in shorts and a t-shirt. Kai behaved during the dinner. He kissed Baekhyun a few times but it never got too heated. Baekhyun was impressed. Maybe he spoke too soon though. He knows his boyfriend pretty well now.

"Meet you back here in 5?" Kai asked as they stould in the living room by the TV.

"Yup!" Baekhyun replied. Kai changed in the bedroom while Baekhyun changed in the bathroom. He wanted to brush his teeth and wash his face.

"I'm going to fall asleep before you so I might as well prepare for it now," he had admitted. Kai arrived back first and flopped onto the living room couch. They had bought some snacks on the way home so Kai went to go get them and set them up on the table. They had vanilla ice cream, strawberries, nutella, brownies and popcorn. Baekhyun had picked most of it out saying he want to make a brownie sundae. Kai thought his little contraption was weird. All of those were things he would probably eat separately. Kai closed his eyes and leaned his head back on the couch. His vision went darker than it was and he felt hands covering his eyes. He felt a peck on his lips as he heard, "Guess who?" He laughed at the cute way Baekhyun asked the question.

"Well if it's not Baekhyun I should be concerned and probably afraid." Baekhyun kissed him again and walked around the couch.

"You're no fun." Kai took his hand and pulled him onto his lap and began leaving kisses all over Baekhyun's face. Baekhyun laughed as they tickled his cheeks and nose. "Yah! Stop! Stop!"

Kai finally pulled away and sat back as though nothing had happened.

"Let's eat!" Baekhyun narrowed his eyes as he watched Kai start opening the containers but he brushed off his weirdness and went for the ice cream.

A few minutes later they had Family Feud. Baekhyun had the nutella jar and the ice cream with a spoon and Kai was eating popcorn. They were yelling out answers to the questions and laughing at some of the contestants' stupid answers. Kai grabbed the strawberries and asked Baekhyun to share the nutella jar. He dipped his strawberries in the jar and ate them as they both were engrossed in the show. It was time for Fast Money. Kai switched it up and held a nutella-covered strawberry at Baekhyun's mouth. He smiled and took the strawberry into his mouth. Kai began feeding him the strawberries watching as he his lips after each one, effectively forgetting about the show.

"You look so y eating those strawberries, I could just-" Kai leaned in to kiss Baekhyun's neck. Baekhyun almost fell for it but he caught him and pushed him back.

"No Jongin. Not tonight. You always do that jokingly to make me blush but you always keep your promises," Baekhyun said seriously. "We said we would start over before all the stuff we did before so let's do that. Just me and you, eating a lot of junk food that we'll probably regret tonight." Kai pouted but leaned back in. This time Baekhyun only pulled back a little.

"We're not going to do anything but you can't take your lips from me." Kai closed the distance between them and kissed Baekhyun passionately. He wanted to show Baekhyun how he felt through the few seconds he had with their lips connected. He kept it short because he was afraid they would get carried away. Baekhyun may talk but he can't resist Kai at all and vice versa. He pulled away.

"I like you a lot. You know that, right? You're my number tonight. Just you and me, okay?" Kai asked. Baekhyun nodded timidly and then snuggled into Kai's side. They switched to Wheel of Fortune at some point. Kai had gotten up to put the snacks away for them to eat later. When he came back, Baekhyun was still awake but now he was out. Kai turned off the TV and picked Baekhyun up. He carried Baekhyun all the way up the stairs to the bedroom and laid him down. As Kai went to go brush his teeth, he felt Baekhyun's hand wrap and his wrist, pulling him back.

"Don't go," Baekhyun mumbled in his sleep. His other hand also came to wrap around Kai's forearm.

"Don't worry, I'll be back," Kai assured and pried Baekhyun's arms off. He Baekhyun's hair and quickly went to brush his teeth. He came back in record time and laid next to Baekhyun. Almost immediately, Baekhyun wrapped his arms around Kai's torso, snuggling into his chest and locking him away so he couldn't escape. Kai didn't mind though and let his arms wrap around Baekhyun's smaller form as well. He laid his head on Baekhyun's and fell asleep.
