"Ahhh...  A day off!  Finally!"

"I'm so tired!"

"Hey, everyone!"

All nine members turned their heads in Jessica's direction.

"Why don't we go shopping today?  I heard there's a HUGE sale at the mall nearby."

With a funny face, Sooyoung replied, "What's this?  Jessica, the sleeping beauty isn't going to spend her day off napping?"

"Hey, don't discourage her.  This is good!  Since she isn't lazy today, let's all go together," suggested Yuri.

"I'm in!", said four of the remaining members.

"Taeyeon?  Are you coming?" asked Jessica.

Taeyeon replied in a monotone voice, "No, I think I should stay back with Tiffany.  She's still sick and I don't want her to be alone too."

Yoona joked to Yuri, "I bet there'll be really pretty pink purses there, too!"

Taeyeon playfully punched Yoona in the arm before she could hide behind Yuri.

Taeyeon sat on the couch next to Tiffany as she watched everyone get ready to leave.  One by one, they exited the dorm and proceeded to the elevator.  She looked over at Tiffany and wondered what thoughts were going through her head.  Tiffany always looked sad when she was sick and her sad face always made Taeyeon feel slight heartbreak.

"Ppany ahhhh!"

"Hm?"

Tiffany turned her head at the sound of Taeyeon's familiar voice.

"Nothing! Kekeke."

"Yah, Taeyeon, stop doing that!" Tiffany complained even though she couldn't help but smile at Taeyeon's dorky laugh.

"I just want to hear your voice, Tiffany!  Don't blame me for that."

"You don't seem as tired as you said you were, earlier." Tiffany chuckled and coughed.  Then she continued to stare at the ground as her expression returned to the depressing almost-frown that she had before.

"Fany!!!  Fany ahhh!"

Tiffany ignored the call since she knew Taeyeon was only playing one of her childish games.

"Tippany!"

--Silence--

Frustrated, Taeyeon sat closer to Tiffany and asked her,

"Fany, are you sad?"

"No, why would you think that?"

"You always seem to look sad when you're sick.  Is it just your sick expression?"

Tiffany looked at Taeyeon and was startled by how close Taeyeon was.  She looked away and said jokingly,

"Of course my expression isn't bright and happy.  How would that happen if you're bothering me so much? Hahaha."

"Yah, Tiffany, you had me worried for the entire day!  Of course I'm going to bother you until you respond!"

"..."

"Stop acting so coldly to me!"

"..."

"Alrighty...  Fine!  If words can't get you to talk, then what if I tickled you?"

Tiffany opened with a startled expression to speak, but decided to accept the challenge.

"  Fine, I'll leave you alone then."

Tiffany celebrated silently as Taeyeon walked away.  She thought she won a battle of speech against Taeyeon, which never happened before...  She was grinning widely and was too proud to realize that Taeyeon was also quite cunning when she wanted to be.  She thought, "WAIT.  Taeyeon could actually be-"

Suddenly, she turned her head, only to see Taeyeon hurtling over the couch and tackling her to the ground.  She felt arms being wrapped around her from the back and couldn't wiggle out of the embrace.  Seeing as how week Tiffany had become from being sick, Taeyeon decided to take this opportunity to cheer up her favourite member of the group.  She said in a loud, powerful voice,

"Tiffany!  Talk to me or else all hell will be unleashed upon you!"

Tiffany only shook her head and continued to struggle.  Taeyeon would have let her go but could see that even while trying to break loose, Tiffany's eyesmile was shining brightly.

"Alright then, you asked for it!"

She attacked Tiffany where she was most sensitive:  her sides.

"Ahahahah! T-T-Taeyeon!  Stop!!!"

Tiffany's husky voice had become even rougher due to her sickness.  Unfortunately for Tiffany, it only made it more adorable and entertaining for Taeyeon as she continued to induce Tiffany's laughter.  Taeyeon's laugh began as evil but morphed into a happy laugh as she saw that Tiffany was smiling and laughing for the first time in days.

Taeyeon continued to tickle the daylights out of Tiffany and then suddenly stopped.

"Will you talk to me now?!" She demanded while laughing.

"Yes, yes, yes!  I will!  Let me go!" Tiffany pleaded between gasps but Taeyeon was having too much fun and returned to her attack.

"Too bad!  Ahahaha!"  Tiffany squirmed and kicked her feet as they both rolled around on the carpet.

Taeyeon continued until she saw the tears streaming down Tiffany's face from laughing so hard and eventually stopped but kept her arms wrapped around her.  Tiffany was panting and gasping for air while still smiling and laughing.

"Don't disobey me again, Fany.  I'm stronger than you!  Hahaha."

Taeyeon turned her head in reaction to a noise she heard coming from the entrance to their dorm.  She found Yoona, Yuri, Seohyun, Jessica, Hyoyeon, Sunny and Sooyoung staring at her and Tiffany who were lying on top of each other, on the ground while laughing.

"Yah... Taeyeon, take this to one of your bedrooms, please." Yoona said while giggling.

Taeyeon laughed and helped Tiffany up off the ground to wipe away her tears.

"I think Tiffany got too big of a dose of Taeyeon's tickle treatment," Said Jessica as she walked the long way around Taeyeon.  "Been there, done that.  NEVER AGAIN."

Taeyeon rebuttled, "Yah, I only attacked you because you stole my rice cakes!  This was different. Tiffany looked sad and wouldn’t talk to me!”

Seohyun looked at Tiffany and said, “Tippany, don’t you know to never disobey your unnie?  It won’t end well for you, hehehe.”

“It’s okay, I know that this unnie means no harm.  I only became a victim today because I’m sick.  Usually, this shorty would never be able to hold me down” Tiffany said with a teasing smile.

“Don’t make me pin you down again.  I know all your weaknesses, Fany!”  She chased Tiffany around the dorm.

“You two are like children!  When you’re done with the face making contests and tickle fights, please clean up here” Sunny laughed as she retreated to her room.

Taeyeon and Tiffany surveyed the room and saw a giant mess where they had been rolling around. The rest of the members left the dorm again when Sunny and Jessica rejoined their group.

“Taeyeon.”

“Hm?”

“NOTHING!  Kekeke.”

Taeyeon couldn't help but grin upon seeing the bright eyesmile that she had missed so dearly the past few days.  Mission accomplished.
