A/N; this mode is going to be so contrasting compared to "Growing Distant". It's not even going to be funny how happy and jolly this one would be HAHAH. well as promised here you go <3 Merry Christmas minions <3 /gives you guys all presents. SEUNGHO’S POV;

I was scared. I had avoided Jiyeon the whole week not deliberately of course but it was becoming harder for me to stay focus.  Christmas was already coming up. The school had started to decorate itself with the gold, green, red and white. It was becoming too much like Christmas it was scary but what would you expect in the month of December?

The school was organising a Christmas carol event with stalls to help fundraise for charities. I found it a pretty cute idea but I’m a guy and I'm lonely on a Christmas day. A happy jolly celebration full of love and thanks and a lonely guy? That was quite odd and disorientated however I was still waiting for Jiyeon to arrive. Hyomin had already told me Jiyeon would be late and even though that was enough assurance for me I was still feeling pretty gloomy.

JIYEON’S POV;

Christmas Carol Night. Oh how wonderful that sounded. The irony and pain of having to dress up. All the girls were expected to be in a red, white or green dress. I didn’t want to go with green and having a red dress hanging lifelessly in the wardrobe I decided it was time for a little bit of sparkle to it.

The dress wasn’t an awkward red but a deep red that made you look whiter than you actually where. Technically I really wasn’t going for that but what was done was done.

 To Hyomin;

I’m gonna be a tad bit late. I’m just about to leave the house.

From Hyomin;

Your boyfriend looks handsome tonight. Hurry up don’t leave him waiting.

 The nerve this girl had. One he wasn’t my boyfriend. Two he wouldn’t even  feel the same way as I feel towards him. There was a one percent chance of that happening and a ninety nine percent chance of him falling for someone else from our school. However that left mere thought left me blushing. Blushing hard to be exact.

 I was suppose to leave half an hour ago but I had no choice but to stay behind and help my mum. Dinner was being rushed and mum needed an extra hand.  I popped on some candy cane earrings I found from the thrift shop and was ready to go.

“Noona, I think you should cover up tonight,” Hyojun looked me up and down.

“I think I am thank you very much,” I scrunched up my face and started walking down the stairs.

“I THINK BY TONIGHT, ON CHRISTMAS NOONA,” My brother was screaming from upstairs. “YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A BOYFRIEND.”

I didn’t look that pretty. I’m being serious. I wasn’t pretty and I won’t be pretty.

“Mummy, I’m leaving,” I informed my mummy. “I will get Hyojun to come pick me up later after I am done.”

“NO, YOUR BOYFRIEND IS BRINGING YOU HOME,” He screamed once again.

“I HAVE NO BOYFRIEND,” I screamed back.

“Oh darling, you are absolute gorgeous tonight,” My mummy smiled at me. “Have fun.”

“BOOOOOOOOOYFRIENDDDD,” Hyojun continued.

SEUNGHO’S POV;

I was still waiting for her. Not that I wanted to sound desperate or anything. Our class had decided to do a Christmas pamper as well. We were going to meet up once Jiyeon arrived and I was becoming very impatient. Not that I wanted to though, it was just I needed my best friend.

“Still waiting for Jiyeon?” Hyunwoo asked me.

“Sadly she hasn’t even shown her face yet,” I sighed.

“She’s going to the queen of this event,” Hyunwoo grinned.

“Queen?” I scoffed. “She’s going to be more than Queen.”

“Are you going to make her your girlfriend already?” Hyunwoo squinted his eyes at me. “The whole school practically knows your love for her.”

“When the time is right…when the time is right…” I mumbled.

“GUYS CAN CLASS 12B GATHER FOR OUR CHRISTMAS CRINGLE EVENT?” someone announced over the intercom and I assumed it was the organiser of the whole event – Jieun.  “INFRONT OF THE HALL.”

Does that mean Jiyeon has already arrived? What am I even doing to myself?!?!  Oh I was excited. I didn’t know why I was excited. I was just excited. I quickly made my away over to the hall and realised the whole class was already gathering and placing their presents on the table one by one well the rest looked away. All the present had identical wrapping though which was funny to see. All the presents were also in a box which was also identical to one another. Jieun had really put effort into the organisation of the wrapping.

“She’s gorgeous tonight,” one of the classmates whispered.

“She didn’t even try hard,” sighed one of the girls.

“She’s single you know,” one of the guy started to wiggling his eyebrows.

Who was this gorgeous girl that made everyone whisper? Not one had dared to speak out loud. I walked closer and oh my. Not just gorgeous but she was drop dead. She wasn’t the right one for me.  I wasn’t worth it for her. Her smile. Her laugh.

“Seungho,” Jiyeon grinned.

That grin.

“Evening Jiyeon,” I smiled.

“Hello Seungho,” Jiyeon smiled back. “Who did you get for the Christmas cringle?”

“That’s a secret,” I placed my fi
