“Agashi, he’s right here,” the store keeper showed where Seung Hyun was passed out.

His head was slumped on the table with about 5 empty bottles of Soju in front of him.

Dara told her friends that she wasn’t feeling well and that she wanted to go home early. Thankfully they didn’t question her and allowed her to go home. She drove to the location the store owner told her and there she found him wasted from drinking too much by himself.

“Ajhussi can you help me get him in my car,” she asked the store owner.  She fished his wallet from his coat and paid the man what Seung hyun owes him. She also told him that they will just leave the car parked in the area and will be back for it in the morning. She thanked the man for helping before leaving.

She drove to their building. At the car park she tried to figure out how to get Seung hyun to their floor and eventually to his home. She ended up calling the front desk personnel to help her to get the very drunk Seung hyun on his feet.

He practically towered over her so it was not an easy fit. It was a struggle to get him outside the car and into the lobby right to the elevator. When they got to their floor she got his electronic key out because she had no idea what his door code is. After finally getting him inside his house she had dumped him on his couch.

She thanked the front desk clerk for his assistance. She was finally alone with the sleeping Seung hyun. She was contemplating whether she should just leave him there like that. He was just practically passed out, no vomiting incident so far. She sighed. What could have possibly led him to get drunk like this, she thought.

She was about to leave him in peace when she noticed tears trailing down his cheeks. She didn’t know what took over her but she ended up sitting on the floor next to the couch. She watched as he silently cried in his sleep. She for some reason wanted to know what was happening. What could possibly be running in his mind right now? He looked so fragile and he couldn’t stop herself from wiping the tears away. She felt herself tearing up as well.

She tried to hush him from crying. She stood up and tried to look for a blanket she can put on him.  She carefully looked around his place and found the door to his bedroom. She went straight to his bed and grabbed the blanket. She noticed a picture frame on his bedside table. It was a younger Tabi probably in high school with a girl she didn’t know. She thought maybe it was his girlfriend. The girl was beautiful and with just one look at the picture it was evident that they were in love. She couldn’t help but think that maybe the reason why he’s drunk and passed out is because of the girl. She got out of the room and went back to the living room where Tabi was still sleeping.

She placed a pillow under his head and placed the blanket on him. She hoped that whatever is bothering him that moment would be gone by morning.

She marveled at how handsome Tabi is. His tear stricken face made him look so beautifully vulnerable. She couldn’t help but admire his distinct features.  She decided that it would not be appropriate to stay in there so she touched his face and whispered a good night before leaving when he suddenly took her hand. He was whispering in his sleep. Dara didn’t have the heart to move away so she got back from sitting on the floor next to the couch. She continued trying to hush Tabi in his sleep with him still holding her hand.

Seung hyun woke up with a really bad headache. He was surprised to have woken up in his own home. He didn’t even remember getting there at all. Not completely aware of his surroundings he noticed that he was holding someone’s hand not to mention that someone’s face is in close proximity to his. He can feel her soft breath.

His heavy heart seemed lighter with the sight of her face. He wasn’t really sure what happened but somehow he got home with Dara’s help. He was very grateful. He gently touched her face but she must have been exhausted because it didn’t wake her up. He carefully got up and carried her to take his place on the couch. He then placed his blanket on her. She looks really adorable when she sleeps, he thought to himself.

His head was still hurting but he somehow feels a lot better with Dara around. He went to the bathroom real quick to wash up. It was still early but he knew that he would have to wake up Dara so she can get ready for her class. He wanted to prepare something though to show his gratitude. He didn’t know what her favorite foods are but he wanted to cook for her anyway. He could just imagine how hard it must have been for her to bring him to his house.

An hour later after whipping up some homemade breakfast he decided to finally wake her up.

“Dara, iru na,” he said as he gently pat her shoulder. She stirred a little. He couldn’t help but smile at how cute she looked.

“Park Sandara, wake up,” he yelled out. This got her to open her eyes.

“Annyeong. I made breakfast. You still have time to eat and then you can get ready for work,” Tabi said.

“You didn’t have to,” Dara said as she forced herself off her sleepy state.

“You can go and wash up in the bathroom, that’s the left door next to the bedroom then come and join me for breakfast when you’re done,” Seung hyun instructed. She stood up, tried to arrange her hair despite the obvious bedhead. She covered her face and went rushing to the bathroom

Tabi just smiled to himself. She still looked pretty even at that early hour.

Dara came out after freshening up.  Tabi motioned her to join him. Tabi served an English style breakfast of eggs and toast and some crispy bacon.

“Your future wife will be lucky,” Dara commented while enjoying her meal.

What an ironic statement, he thought to himself. The person that was supposed to be his future wife is already happily married and even politely asked him to never show his face to her again.

“Did I say something wrong,” Dara said when she noticed the change in his expression.

“Ah it’s nothing I just remembered something,” he said.

“You should smile more,” Dara suddenly said. “It suits you better than frowning.”

“Oh I hear that all the time,” he joked. A genuine smile finally graced his face.

Dara just rolled her eyes but eventually laughed in amusement. They ate breakfast together talking about random things like the class she’s handling and how they both love children. Dara didn’t try to ask about what happened that night because she didn’t want to pry in his personal life.

“Thanks for making breakfast,” she said. “It was so delicious.”

“You can drop by for breakfast anytime,” he said.

“Really? I’ll keep that in mind,” she replied. “Thanks again.”

“Just returning the favor,” he muttered then he walked her out to the door.

She got out of his home feeling refreshed. She was glad that whatever he was going through last night seemed to not have bothered him that morning. She walked towards her own unit thinking of what she and Chaerin would be doing with the kids today.  She typed in her code and got inside her unit to her surprise Joong Ki was waiting for her inside. He was sitting on the couch reading a magazine while waiting for her.

“Oppa,” she exclaimed and run towards him excitedly. “I miss you so much.”

“I miss you too,” he replied. ” I’ve been here for almost thirty minutes. Where were you,” he asked as he placed his hand under her chin and pulling her close to him as if searching for the answer in her eyes.

The color on Dara’s face drained. How was she to tell him that she slept over her neighbor’s house and even ate breakfast there not to mention the fact that the said neighbor is a guy and a very good looking one at that?

“I went out for a walk,” she stammered and looked away. She was never really good at lying.

“On high heels and wearing a party dress,” he jested. “Your car is in the parking area and your bag was left on the couch. Where were you really?” His tone slightly changed.

“I just got in as you can see I went out with friends because I was alone and I just decided to get some fresh air so I went for a walk. Is that so hard to believe,” she reasoned. She pretended to be upset because of the interrogation but all she really felt was guilt. She has never lied to him before and today was a first.

“Okay, I won’t ask anymore. I just missed you a lot and I went here as soon as I came back. I was surprised that you weren’t home,” he explained.  He gave her a chaste kiss on the lips.

Dara’s expression softened and she melted in Joong Ki’s embrace. “I don’t want to fight with you. I just got here.”

“Me too,” she muttered as she rested her head on his chest. She suddenly bolted up,” Oh I will be late for my class.” She gave him a quick peck on the lips before she went running to the bathroom.

“Do you want me to make something for you,” he asked.

“No I’m fine. I’ll just get something to eat in the school cafeteria,” she replied.

Joong Ki was a little bit surprised because Dara was never really a fan of school cafeteria food even when they were younger but it was also possible that the food in the school she’s working for maybe exceptionally good.

After a quick shower and getting dressed in what she and CL calls Homeroom runway fashion she saw Joong Ki dozed off on the couch.

“Oppa, go sleep in the bedroom, you look exhausted,” Dara said. “I’ll be off to work now.”

“Wait let me drive you there,” he said and got up from his seat.

“Are you sure? You look so tired. I can drive there myself,” Dara reasoned.

“I was able to sleep for a few hours during my flight, but you said you just got in which means you stayed out late with Bom and your friends. It’s not safe for you to drive. I won’t feel at ease unless I drive for you,” Joong Ki insisted.

“You’re super sweet oppa,” she said and she holds on to his arm as they make their way out of her house. A pang of guilt was still playing at the back of your mind.

Joong Ki told her to try and sleep while he’s driving and she did as he said and tried to get a quick nap but since she had enough time to rest last night it was a futile endeavor so she just pretended. After thirty minutes they were at her school.

“Wake up sleepy head,” he said as he gently tapped her shoulder.

She pretended to stir before opening her eyes.

“What time do you get off from work,” he asked.

“I’ll be done by 3pm,” she replied.

“Arasso, I won’t come to work today so I can spend the rest of the day with you. I’ll pick you up by 3 then,” said and he kissed her on the lips before he got out and opened the door for her.

Dara got out and hugged him before walking to
