Umm...
When Love Comes Crashing... Literally!
I bring them all to my living room and sit them down on one of the couches before going over to the love seat. Married! Married! I can't be married to them! What will Taehyun think? Worse what will Subin think? A million different questions bounce around in my head, sorting through them I try to find one to ask them.
"What did you want to talk about?" Jongup asks coming over to where I was sitting and putting his hand on my shoulder to comfort me. I scoot away from him a little, shrugging my shoulder so his hand would slid off.
"It's about the... It's about the marriage thing or whatever! I just don't see how this can work!" I mumble. I hear a grunt from the other couch,
"What was that?" Yongguk asks. Standing up I repeat in a louder voice,
"This marriage... I don't think it's going to work for me!" I say again. Yongguks scowl just deepens,
"Then what do you expect us to do, huh? Break our own laws?" He yells standing up as well.
"Hyung, don't be like this." Zelo says trying to get Yongguk to sit back down. Yongguk just pushes past him and gets in my face,
"I'm not sure you understand how important it is to follow the law!" He whispers threateningly. I almost wanted to cry at how intimidating he was but I don't have to. Daehyun steps in-between us grabbing me into his chest,
"Hyung, I don't know what you think your doing. All she's done is helped us so far... Let's at least listen to her." Yongguk snarls at him but sits back down nonetheless. Daehyun moves me away from his body gently and says, "Why don't you try to explain to us what you mean." I nod my head slowly, I've never heard him speak that much, and I go back over and sit next to Jongup.
"Well... it's just that before you guys even came along I had a life. I already have somebody I love! And I can't just drop that." I say awkwardly. Youngjae scratches the back of his head,
"So are you proposing that we make a deal." I nod my head and say, "It's only fair that way." A couple minutes of awkward silence passes before Himchan suddenly gasps in thought,
"Hey! What about this! How about we try to win So- Yun over before we leave this planet and whoever wins get's to marry her!" I try to argue but am interrupted by Jongup.
"True, then that way we technically won't be breaking the law or forcing her into anything she doesn't want to do." I think about it for a moment and see that it's actually a good idea... I mean, I won't have to marry any of them as long as I don't fall in love with them. That will be easy! Right?
"But what if we can't win her over?" Zelo asks, I shoot a glare in his direction wishing he would just shut up.
"Don't worry... that wont happen." Yongguk says confidently. I pretend to gag at what he says and say,
"Okay... I guess that seems like a good idea." They all nod. "So it's settled! None of us are married! Okay?"
Daehyun gets up, "Okay we aren't married." He pauses, "Atleast not yet." He winks in my direction before walking down the hall with Youngjae and Zelo.
"What the..? I thought he didn't know what A wink was!" I mutter underneath my breath. Jongup moves closer to my face since he couldn't hear and asks,
"What did you say?" Naturally I turn my head in his direction but our noses rub together. Startled I jump away laughing nervously,
"Ehehe... I was just wondering where... Um... Where my phone was. Yeah my phone." I lie to him. He get's up,
"Oh. You mean that mini monitor thing right? I think Youngjae has it." I dip my head in a nod before walking down the hall after Youngjae.
Youngjae hands over my phone, "it kept on vibrating but I ignored it since I didn't know what it was." He says. I tell him that it's okay and take the phone from him and walk to my room. Once i get to my room I unlock my phone, but when I unlocked the screen I begin having second thoughts about it being okay. How many times had he let it ring!?! I had 13 missed calls... I click on my phone icon to see who it was from. 7 calls from Taehyun and 6 from Subin. Ah crap! I had forgotten about going into work... and why is Subin calling me? I call Taehyun back first to clear things up... I'm not sure what I'm going to say but I know I won't tell him, 'oh sorry oppa! Some aliens are staying at my place and I got sidetracked. It won't happen again ' heck no! He would think I was a complete liar! The phone rings a couple more times till I hear the receiver being picked up,
"Taehyun?... Ah! Sorry, sorry! I set my alarm to pm instead of am so I slept really late!... No oppa... No. It won't happen again... yes... Okay. Bye." Pulling my hair into a ponytail I turn to my door and see Himchan just standing there, "umm... Can I help you?" I ask. He shakes his head 'no' and says smiling,
"No I don't need anything I just... Wanted to watch you." I hold in a laugh, does he know what he said was weird? Probably not....
"Oh, well remember how I had to leave earlier today... Before, well, you know?" Himchan nods. "Well I still have to go to that place or else I'll get into trouble okay?" He nods again.
"You'll make sure to come back though... Right?" He asks stepping a little closer to me. I pat his shoulders reassuringly,
"I promise I'll come back okay? So can you tell the others for me, since I have to go." Himchan nods obediently. "Thank you, bye~" I call back before running out my door and hopping into my bike. Pushing forwards on my pedals I start to bike into town.
Himchan looks out the window watching as So- Yun disappears in the distant.
"Hey Hyung! Where did So- Yun go?" Turning towards Youngjae he says,
"she had to go to a place. She said she'll be home soon... But she told me to tell you all." Youngjae nods, his face looking a little pale,
"why did she leave? Is... Is she mad at me?" Himchan shrugs his shoulders,
"I don't know. She just said she had to go..." Himchan pauses and shoots a glare at Youngjae before going on to say, "Why, what did you do to her?" Youngjae shrinks back again,
"I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with her mini monitor... I mean phone! It vibrated a lot! Maybe it's broken." Himchan smacks Youngjae on the head gently,
"you better hope its not!" Youngjae nods feeling guilty and walks back down the hall. Himchan sighs and looks back out the window to wait for So- Yuns return.
Tuning the door knob slowly I walk into the shop and see Yuri wiping up a table. I scratch the back of my neck awkwardly and clear my throat, she looks up at me and rolls her eyes,
"if you want to know where your precious Taehyun is then he went out on an errand. He also told me to tell you that your on street duty." My eyes bug out of my head, street duty? He knows I hate street duty! Taehyun must be mad at me. I dip my head in a curt bow at Yuri and go to the back to get the supplies I needed. Fliers... Check. Staple gun... Check. Stupid giant cupcake suit... Check. Kicking it in the side angrily I pick it up and heft it up and on to my body. Putting the fliers and staple gun into one hand, I open the door. Trying to step out I get caught in the door frame because the stupid suit was too big. Digging my feet into the ground I push forward against the door. I feel myself get loose and I fall out and onto the floor. Thankfully the fliers didn't go all over the place but sadly I couldn't get up. Squirming this way and that I probably looked like an overturned turtle. Yuri must have heard me struggling to get back up because I saw her walking around the corner to where I was. With a sheepish smile I give her a small wave, she stops in her tracks and bursts out laughing.
"Ha-ha! So funny! Mind giving me a hand?" I ask. She wipes an exaggerated tear away and holds out a hand in my direction. Taking it I pull myself up and pick up the fliers and staple gun, turning back to her I say, "Thanks." She nods still laughing and goes back to the kitchen. Grumbling a bit under my breath I walk out of the store and start to staple our fliers on anything that was wood.
I kept on hearing laughter coming from behind me and when I would pass other people. Choosing to ignore the laughs I stare at the ground blushing. This was totally humiliating! Next thing he'll want me to do is dance! I mean, seriously!? As I finished putting the last flier in the pile I had up I hear my phone go off. Setting down the stapler I pull one arm into the suit and take out my phone. One new message. It was from Taehyun too... great! I think to myself sarcastically, what does he want now? As soon as I thought that I take it back, I mean, he's just doing his job... Right? Opening the text I read it silently.
Taehyun: Hey whenever you get done posting up the fliers I want you to come back to the shop. But when you get here I want you to stand out front and dance in the cupcake suit. Okay? Thank you~! \(^-^)/
I calmly re-read the text again before replying.
Me: Ah~ Okay Oppa^^ I'll be at the shop soon! Hwaiting!!
A minute passes.
Taehyun: Hwaiting!!
Putting the phone away I shake my head, I am such a push over when it comes to Taehyun! Picking up the staple gun I start to walk back to the store... Back to my doom! Oh! ... And Taehyun~
Meanwhile back at So- Yun's house... "Hey Daehyun!" Yongguk calls from the kitchen. Daehyun silently but instantly appears as if from no where, but Yongguk is already used to this strange behavior.
"What is it?" Daehyun asks. Yongguk looks angrily at the ground as if he felt ashamed to be having to ask Daehyun for help.
"Im hungry..." Yongguk mutters. Daehyun looks around the kitchen silently in thought.
"Why don't you ask Youngjae or Zelo for help?" Daehyun says before vanishing. Yongguk punches at the air where Daehyun had been moments ago,
"I would but they're to busy." He says in a voice quiet enough so that only he could hear himself.
"Hey, Hyung! I found food!" Jongup calls from inside the fridge. Yongguk rushes over patting Jongup on the back,
"You did good... You did good." The two of them raid the fridge, pulling out whatever they thought might taste good. Calling everybody to come in and eat Zelo, Daehyun, and Youngjae instantly appear in the kitchen. "Where's Himchan?" Yongguk asks. Zelo shrugs,
"Oh, him? He said he was fine and continued looking out the window." Everyone nods.
"What's he looking for?" Jongup asks. Everyone shrugs as if they don't know but in all of their minds their thinking the same thing... He's looking for So- Yun.
Snapping to the beat of the music I try to get myself into the zone. Sliding this way and that I dance to 'sorry, sorry' like there was no tomorrow. I hope Taehyun's watching! So I can show him how committed I can be! Hopping around the small group of people who were watching me I beckoned with clapping hands for them to dance with me too. A little girl of maybe 5 or 6 started dancing with me too and I thought to myself, suddenly, that hey! Street duty actually isn't so bad! In fact it's... pretty fun! Striking a finishing pose the song comes to an end and the small crowd claps for me and the little girl. I pat her on the back and wave goodbye as her mother pulls her down the road. Panting and sweating hard I go inside the shop for a sweet break. As I open the door the AC blasts me with refreshingly cold air, I sigh in bliss and go to sit in the employees room. Taking off the suit I check my phone for the time and suddenly remembered that I hadn't called Subin back from this morning. I quickly dial her number wanting to know whats going on. I swear the phone didn't even ring once before it was picked up,
"Hello?" I pull my head away from the phone, Subin always had a bad habit of talking really loud on the phone. Cupping the phone in my hand I bring it to my ear once more, "Yeah... Sorry about that, I slept in like usual... You know how it is... What?... What was that? Uhhh... Crap. Are you serious?... No! No! I'm happy... Just a little surprised ehe... okay then... Yeah, okay... Bye, see you soon." I hang up the phone quickly and run to Taehyun's office. "Oppa! Oppa!" I say bursting in through his door. He looks up at me startled,
"What is it So- Yun?" Clearing my throat I say shyly, shuffling my feet a little.
"Well it's just that since... I was working so hard today that maybe... I could go home now?" He looks at me blankly before waving a hand at the door,
"Sure... Go on, you can go home now." My eyes widen and he smirks,
"Really Oppa you're the best!" I run out of his office and jump on to my bike, I had to get home before 7! I had to get home before Subin got there! She couldn't find out that I was hiding 6 aliens at my house!!!

Hahaha sorry I'm such a slow writer I hate myself for that >.< But I'm already working on the next chapter! Anyways good news guys... I got my drivers permit!!
