It was a sunny day as Kyungsoo went out to buy some groceries for tonight’s dish. Kai regularly come to Kyungsoo’s apartment, even when Kyungsoo offered his apartment for him to stay, he rejected the offer with a reckless reason. Confused, Kyungsoo just walked towards the lift. Too caught up in his thoughts, he bumped into an anonymous guy, which resulted his kissing the floor and his keys flying to god-knows-where. The random guy also landed on his with a painful thump.

The guy was silently swearing incoherent words to himself while Kyungsoo rubbed his sore . Kyungoo took a peek at this guy who was actually Lu Han, his neighbor.

“Oh, hyung! I’m so sorry!” he blurted out.

“Ah, it’s nothing, actually. I always bump into people a lot of times,” he calmly replied.

“No, you must have been hurt, let me help you,” Kyungsoo offered his hand when he was standing and bowing 90 degrees.

Lu Han smirked but accepted his help, anyways. Before he knew it, they were both on their feet, good as new.

There was an awkward silence but Lu Han broke it by asking.

“So, you’re with that Kai guy, huh?” he asked, coldly.

At the mention of Kai, Kyungsoo happily nodded.

“I know I shouldn’t be saying this but I’ve heard stories about that guy. He’s not good for you, Kyungsoo-ah. I care for you, which is why I’m doing this. He’s not a good guy and he won’t be good for you,” Lu Han finished with a sigh.

Kyungsoo’s smile was replaced with a smirk. How dare this guy tell me what to do, he doesn’t even know Kai properly! I’m sorry hyung, but its too late.

“I’m sorry, hyung. It’s too late. I love him, already,” he said.

With that, Kyungsoo proudly walked away, passing Lu Han on the way.

He entered the lift with much pride but Lu Han’s words can’t stop echoing in his head.

I’ve heard stories of this guy

He’s not good for you

I care for you

He’s not a good guy

And he won’t be good for you

Doubts started filling Kyungsoo’s  mind as it turned dark. What if’s were conquering his mind and he didn’t like it.

What if he’s playing with you?

What if he wasn’t good for you?

What if you’re playing with fire, Kyungsoo?

Who’s going to save you?

Nobody, because you just lost your safety net.

What if he’s a bad guy?

But the one thought that screamed in his mind was,

What if he doesn’t love you?
