The reason why Taemin wanted a baby so badly was because he wasn't confident about how Jiyoung felt for him. He couldn't tell for sure if she was only playing the role of the good wife again for their marriage or she was feeling the same as him. That came from the fact that there were times she would be so secretive with him, like she was hiding something from him and in those times he felt her so far from him, so distant. He was scared, scared that he could loose her and a baby could've changed that. A baby would've put an end to all of his insecurities.
There was someone ringing at their door so Jiyoung grabbed Taemin's shirt and put it on before running down the stairs " St-stop.. " she giggled as Taemin bumped her back and continued tickling her " Please stooppp.. " she held in her laughter.
" Oopss.. "
Sehun.
With Kai behind him.
Sehun covered his face and chuckled. That was a beautiful scene right there. Husband and wife laughing and playing with each other.. not only that but judging from their hair and fact that Taemin was only wearing his boxers while Jiyoung only had Taemin's shirt on.. they clearly had some acvitity before. Sehun eyed the two knowingly " I guess we've arrived at the wrong time " did we interrupt anything? Sehun couldn't help but chuckle again.
" What are you doing here anyway? " Taemin asked as he hid Jiyoung behind his back. He didn't want his friends to see her barely covered and glamorous body.
" I wanted to ask you out but you got better things to do, I see " Sehun's ear to ear smile said it all.. he was happy but a little jealous too. He has always liked Jiyoung. Put aside that she was really hot she was also very nice so he liked her as his friend's wife. He was happy that things between them were finally going well.
" Let's go.. " was the only thing that Kai said before turning his back to reach the car.
Sehun made a face " He must be on his period " he shook his head then waved goodbye to the couple and followed his friend. Jiyoung knew better. She saw Kai's expression darkening as soon as he saw them. She saw him fixing his gaze down his feet not wanting to acknowledge that lovey dovey scene.
Kai saw something that he didn't expect. Taemin didn't hold back on shoving to his face how things were going well and Jiyoung also told him about it but he didn't expect that they were actually getting it in. He thought that if they did Taemin wouldn't have had any problem on telling him about that but he didn't.

Jiyoung sent Kai a message but he didn't reply. She called him but he didn't pick up. When that evening Taemin left because he got things to do. Jiyoung messaged Kai again and she was sure that Kai wasn't going to ignore her anymore " Home alone...."
As expected not long after Kai knocked at her door and she welcomed him with an I-knew-it expression " Hey " but Kai's face was still dark and when she asked him in, he refused.
" Are you mad? " she asked lowly. Kai didn't answer. He obviously was and Jiyoung was aware of that.
For unknown reasons Jiyoung was bothered by Kai knowing about her activity with Taemin. When she realized that her husband didn't tell his friend anything about it, she felt thankful and definitely relieved. At the end of the day that had to be kept between them.. but now that Kai got to know about it she was feeling sorry and guilty. It was weird how she felt like she cheated not on Taemin but Kai and she didn't like it.
She tagged his shirt and made a step closer " Are you still mad? " she blinked her big brown eyes.
Kai stared at her. He was mad but how could he push her away. He loved her, he loved her so much that he would've forgiven her anything. He pressed his lips together and reached for the hand that was still holding his shirt " Tell me how can I stay mad at you.. " because I don't know how to..
Kai was aware of what he was feeling for her but it wasn't only that. He was also aware that Jiyoung wasn't completely unaffected by him. He could swear at times that she was feeling the same as him.
As he was lost into her eyes he wondered how great would it be to be able to hug her, to kiss her, to touch her.. but he couldn't yet. Not when she was still married with Taemin and not when she was doing those things with him. He composed himself and brushed all those thoughts away before realizing that they were still standing at the door and Taemin could arrive anytime finding them there " It's better if I go " he squeezed her hand a little before leaving.

" You should put some ice over there " she pointed at his pants and tiptoed to reach the upper part of the closet showing like that her flat and toned belly. Taemin his bottom lip but restrained himself. After two rounds it was time for a break " But it's your fault.. " he protested " If you weren't that hot, I wouldn't.. you know " Jiyoung could only roll her eyes.
" Stop.. " she made a face " I can barely walk right now " that only confirmed that he did a good job. He nodded proudly and a cheeky smile curved on his face. Let me help you.. He walked up to her and lifted her up before heading to the living room so that they could enjoy their snacks. He carefully put Jiyoung down on the couch before dropping himself next to her but Jiyoung had other plans. She sat on his lap with each of her legs on his side.
Jiyoung was way more open with Taemin after learning how much he was being sincere with his words and actions this time. She didn't hold back anymore like she did in the past for being afraid to be rejected. When she felt like she wanted to hug him she did, when she felt like she wanted to kiss him she did and when she felt like being on his lap she sat on his lap. It was as simple as that and she was liking it.
" You complain how I'm always yet you get in such positions.. how do you expect me to stay still? " he whined cutely and caressed her honey thighs. Jiyoung chuckled and so he did.
" Are you going to miss me? "
" Eum.. " she simply hummed.
" You're not? " he tilted his head to make sure that he could meet her eyes. She felt herself blushing so she turned away " Of co-course " she mumbled " Of course, I am " he giggled at how shy she got.
" Let's go.. " he eyed her knowingly and she shook her head " Uhhhmmmm.. still tired " she whined.
" We have to make up for the time I won't be here.. " he whispered in her ear seductively. Jiyoung hit his chest and chuckled " You're leaving for 3 days only "
" Only? " he raised a brow " 3 days will feel like years already! " he protested and this time Jiyoung bursted into laughing " So dramatic! " she then gave a peck on his lips because him being so cheesy was too cute and sweet for words.
" Let's go.. " he repeated.
" Really? " she asked. He nodded his head and grinned seeing how he was about to convince her " Fine.. let's go " she rolled her eyes at her hopeless husband.
Taemin had to leave for Japan for 3 days because of work and he was hating the idea of leaving his wife behind. He actually asked her to come with him but she refused saying that she had to work too. He knew that in other cases 3 days were nothing but in this case where he wasn't going to be with her 3 days were too much. He could've sounded exaggerated and corny but that's how he was feeling. If he could he would've never left his wife not even for a couple of hours, he would've always stayed with her.
It was all new for Taemin because he has been romantic and sweet in the past but never too romantic and too sweet to the point that it could get cringe-worthy. He has never been into too lovey dovey scenes, not even with Krystal but there he was acting like that with Jiyoung. It was a little scary when he thought about it but he liked it.

Jiyoung wasn't replying his text nor she was picking up his calls. It has been like that for the past days and even when he dropped at her workplace he couldn't go to her because there was Taemin or she wasn't there because she was with Taemin. It seemed that his bestfriend wanted to make up for his 3 days trip so he wasn't leaving his wife even for a second. Kai rolled his eyes at how corny that was.
" Are you alive?? " he sent her a message and not long after got her call.
Kai couldn't help but wonder how Taemin did that, how he managed to turn the tables and unconsciously make him the bad one. Taemin used to be the bad one but now Kai felt like he got that role because of how he was the one often getting mad and making things difficult for Jiyoung.. like this time he could hear her giving out a sigh as soon as he picked up.
" I'm sorry.. " she said lowly and there he was regretting the message he sent her. He knew that the reason why she was ignoring him was Taemin always being with her and she didn't want to be caught by him . But jealousy was a bad thing and it was taking over Kai " No.. I'm sorry " and a long silence followed until she heard that Taemin finished his shower and quickly bid goodbye " I have to hang up.. bye "

At Jiyoung's workplace
" What are you going to do when I'm not here? " he asked trying to hide his suspicious side of her and his bestfriend spending time together. That was what he feared the most. When he was there he could control her, he felt reassured because he could see her.
" Well.. working, like now.. then home " she said casually " Or I might hang out with Sulli and Suzy...." he felt relieved hearing those two names and heaved a sigh out making Jiyoung chuckle " Why? " she playfully hit his arm " What did you think I could do? " she chuckled again.
" What about you? What are you going to do over there? "
" I'll think about you.. " Jiyoung cracked up at how cheesy her husband was " Come on, seriously.. "
" Well.. there'll be a lot of boring meetings and conferences.. if only you were with me " he said lowly and hugged her from behind " I'll be itching to take that plane back home.. I'll miss you so much " he whispered between the soft kisses that he was planting on the back of her neck, weak spots for her.
" Yah.... st-stop " that almost came out like a moan which made him smirk " Why? I'm not doing anything.. "
" I know where this is leading to.. remember that I'm working " or at least that's what I'm supposed to do. She said but Taemin has already dragged her to the dressing room. She swallowed and gave him an are-you-serious look. Taemin nodded.
" We can't here.. anyone could find us here " she tried to resist but Taemin crushed his lips on hers and kissed her hungrily " Don't worry, it'll be quick "
And that's how it went until the day she accompanied him to the airport. They were holding hands with their fingers intertwined. When his flight departure was announced they reluctantly walked to his designed gate. He stopped on his tracks and turned to face her. It was so hard because they weren't used to be apart. It was even harder after the beautiful days spent together. That week has been particularly special because they've spent it happily making a lot of beautiful memories. It seemed that things kept on getting better and better between them and now he had to board that plane.
He cupped her head and gently pressed his lips on her forehead then her cheek " I love you.. " then her lips. She swallowed and so he did.
Both shocked by what he just said. He wasn't expecting for that to come out but he meant it.. with all his heart. He would've preferred for her to tell him 'I love you too' but he supposed that everything was too sudden and she wasn't ready for that yet. He looked at her and flashed her a reassuring smile and just then she smiled.
Taemin didn't regret telling her that he loved her without getting the same response. It was enough for him that he let her know about it. He loved her, he loved her so much and was ready to wait for the day he would hear those words from her too.

On her way home Jiyoung felt a tear rolling down her cheek. There was a part of her that felt like she was the happiest and luckiest girl on earth for having such a caring and loving husband but there was a part of her that was confused because she was torn between two guys. She had feelings for Taemin and she had feelings for Kai but she still couldn't define what she felt for one and what for the other. It would've been easier if one of them wasn't worthy, if one of them wasn't deserving but they were both amazing.
" What are you going to do? " Sulli asked. A million dollar question. Jiyoung thought as she stared at her caramel macchiato.
So.. Taemin changed HE LOVES HER. What would you do if you were Jiyoung? XD
Drama has yet to end though.
