I fumbled in my seat nervously; I could tell that Myungsoo had been staring at me for the past two minutes. Well, it was partly my fault since I avoided eye contact with him ever since I left them earlier for Jinyoung, okay so maybe it really is my fault.

Don’t get me wrong, being stared at by a handsome guy is totally… hot. But when he’s trying to devour you with his eyes, it’s just plain scary. Jinyoung is a good example.

“So where are you staying at?” Myungsoo asked and I whipped my head towards him. Darn. Bad move. His brown eyes are me in! Help!

“Seo. Yoon. Hae.” He said, his eyes never leaving mine. I hear a few giggles from the back. Damn it! If only they knew how frustrating this is!

Did you know that you can’t ever lie when Myungsoo looks you in the eyes like this? He pinned Sungyeol once to make him confess about his half eaten strawberry yoghurt on the fridge and boy, Sungyeol confessed about eating it along with secrets your ears wouldn’t handle.

I wanted to laugh at the pair; they’ve gotten so close over the course of years that they treat each other as brothers.

“Yoon Hae.” Myungsoo snapped his fingers in front of me and I got back to reality, I bit my lip and he just sighed.

“I’m sorry.” I muttered and ducked my head.

“I won’t force you to tell me, Hae. But I want to know if you’re safe… and Leo too. I won’t be able to rest my mind if I –if I don’t know what’s happening to the two of you guys.” He said and took my hand in his, giving me a light pat.

I bit my lip harder, it doesn’t help that his hold in my hands are sending electricity to my body like a live wire. Am I sick? I should visit a doctor soon. My heart has been going out in an odd pace whenever Jinyoung is around too. Wait- why am I thinking about Jinyoung at this time?! I’m with Myungsoo! Myungsoo!

“I-I know… I’m sorry Myung. It’s just complicated right now. We’re safe. We’re fine. M-maybe I’ll tell you the details next time and please don’t ask anymore. I’ll tell you, I promise.” I gave him a light smile; I’m not good at lying. Especially to him, he- he has always been there for me from the start.

I’ve received help from him countless of times before and I wouldn’t want to burden him further, besides- I couldn’t imagine Myungsoo’s reaction about me agreeing to this stupid contract. He’ll call me an idiot, and he’ll definitely pull me away from Jinyoung and I’ll… lose Jinyoung.

Seo Yoon Hae! Shut up! Quit thinking!

“Tell me if there’s anything wrong, ‘kay?” he still looks hesitant at the way I explained things but I’m glad he understood. I can’t tell this to him, not yet at least. Nonetheless, I nodded in agreement. This whole thing is wrong enough.
