May
Month by Month
I could finally call her mine. My girlfriend, my lover. It seemed like the second I laid eyes on her I liked her, and after 5 months, she admitted that she had feelings for me also. Our group members did not approve of our relationship at first. I could see their concerns, but I was a big girl, and I could handle myself. Amber didn't have the best track record with girlfriends, I understood that, and I knew that going in. Something told me that it would be different with me though. Maybe I was just having wishful thinking. Maybe I liked her more than I wanted to admit.
“Amber look! That cloud looks like a ballerina!” I pointed at the sky. She opened her eyes, following my finger and scanned the clouds. She gave a smile, and pointed out another one.
“That one looks like a car.” I glanced at it, it was a little malformed, but it did look like a car.
“It does!” I giggled, and buried my head into her shoulder. She wrapped her arm around me, petting my hair ever so slightly. She kissed my forehead, before leaning back and closing her eyes again, enjoying the nice May sun on a day off. Now that all the pieces have fallen into place, everything coexisted in perfect harmony.
Is is smooth sailing for Kryber from now on?
