Despite countless efforts from all the members of Super Junior, no one had managed to convice SM management to stop their plans. Kangin was still going to have to go to the military, and Leeteuk was still going to have to deal with everything without his child's father around. And so, the couple had resigned themselves tp spending as much time together as they possibly could.  Nearly every waking moment was enjoyed in the others presence. As much as Leeteuk wanted for time to stop, it had passed far too quickly. Already it had been just over a month since that fateful day of the conference. Tomorrow would be the day Kangin was departing for the army. Therefore, the couple had planned out the perfect day together. 

Leeteuk sighed and pulled on his shirt, smoothing it out over his stomach. He couldn't help but stare at his reflection; he was amazed by all the changes that had occured. At 20 weeks, he was just at the halfway mark. With his 'condition' being so obvious now, he constantly had to be in disguise while out in public. Especially when he was with Kangin. No one in the SM management wanted another scandal, so they had to do all they could to keep everything calm.

Just then, his train of thought was completely derailed by the feeling of a gentle kick within his stomach. A soft smiles graced Leeteuks' face as he ran one hand along the growing curve of his abdomen. He couldn't help but feel his mood lift slightly at the sensation. As bad as things seemed right now, at least he had this to look forwards to. Now that he was satisfied with the clothes he had picked out, he walked over to the bed where Kangin was relaxing. He sat down on the edge of the bed and grabbed the younger mans hand, placing it against the spot on his stomach where their child was kicking.  The proud smile that appeared on Kangin's lips made Leeteuk laugh just a little bit. 

"Do you think it's a boy or a girl?" Kangin asked as he leaned forwards to kiss his boyfriends cheek.

"I'm pretty sure it's a boy...but I guess we'll have to wait to find out." Leeteuk turned his head at the last second to cause the other man to kiss his lips instead. The couple had opted to leave the gender of their child unknown until the birth.

"Let's get going now, we've got to make the best of today." Kangin stood up and held his hands out to help the other man stand up. His ability to do so on his own had since been hindered by the growth of his stomach. 

The pair made their way to the front door, put on their shoes and ventured outside. With one arm secured around his boyfriends waist, Kangin lead Leeteuk to their destination. A romantic picnic for the two of them at the park, hidden under the shade of the bridge by the small creek. Being the protective person he was, Kangin was sure to help Leeteuk down the slope down to the spot under the bridge. Once there, he laid out the picnic blanket and sat down with beside Leeteuk. 

"It's really nice here...this was a good idea." Leeteuk said as he rested his head against Kangin's shoulder.

"Do you remember the first time we came here?" Kangin asked, smiling at the memory.

~Flashback~

What had started off as a simple walk in the park had turned into a complete disaster. Or that was how it seemed at the very least. He'd finally gotten the courage to ask Kangin to join him on his daily walks, and it had started off very well. That was...until it started raining. It was just a gentle drizzle of rain at first, but it then soon became a thunderstorm of epic proportions. There was thunder, lightening and pouring rain. And of course, niether of them had thought to bring an umbrella. After wandering a few minutes, the pair found shelter under a nearby bridge. 

Both of them were completely soaked, clothes drenched and hair dripping with the rain. Kangin, being of a bigger body build, had still managed to retain some body heat. Leeteuk however was shivering, the cold air was not helping his already soaking body. 

"Hey, are you cold?" Kangin's deep voice brought Leeteuk out of his thoughts and back into reality.

"Huh? Yeah, a bit." Leeteuk said with a shrug, attempting to at least appear tough.

Kangin however was not fooled by this one bit and pulled the older man closer to him, wrapping his strong arms around him. Leeteuk was more than surprised at this sudden action but he didn't resist. Instead, he gratefully leaned into the warm body of the man he had fallen so hard for. They remained like that until Leeteuk's shivering stopped. Statisfied, Kangin loosened his hold on Leeteuk, looking at him right in the eyes.

"Kangin..." Leeteuk said his name in a soft voice, as if saying a prayer.

That one word sent Kangin over the edge as he leaned closer, brushing his lips against the others before kissing him. The kiss meant to convey the years of longing and desire they had, and it did just that. Leeteuk instantly melted into the kiss, his heart fluttering in his chest. Too soon, they parted for air. 

"Teukie, be mine." Kangin said, staring at the object of his affection. With a simple nod from the other, he pulled him in for yet another kiss. 

That was the day they became a couple and changed their lives forever

~End Flashback~

"That was an amazing day. Even though it was cold and raining." Leeteuk couldn't help but laugh a bit, smiling at the fond memory.

"We won't be doing that in the rain for a long while though, don't want you to get sick." Kangin said.

Leeteuk smiled and placed both his hands on his stomach, sighing in content. For a brief moment, he was able to forget what was bothering him. Right now, he had the two things that meant the most to him. Kangin, and their unborn child. At that point in time, he couldn't have asked for more. Although he was uncertain of what the future would hold, this moment was perfect. 

Beside him, Kangin released a silent sight and reached into his pocket it with his free hand. He pulled Leeteuk a little closer and lifted one hand from his stomach before opening the small box to reveal a beautiful ring. Carefully, he slid the ring onto Leeteuks finger and whispered in his ear:

"Let's make this place more special...will you marry me?"
